@@cheerio3442 I also use it to get some extra level, or repair an item with its EXP points. Once you've beaten it once, the second round is even easier. If anything, Beating the Wither is much harder...

Season 5 (the season prior to Grian’s invite) was the actual season of mega bases but literally every hermit was so burnt out at the end. Mumbo did a video showing off the hermits’ bases in that season, much like this video... and they were terrifyingly huge. Even the redstoners (like Impulsesv) had ENORMOUS bases. But they were so beat up bc of it. I hope nobody thinks that fans require these oversized mega bases. We just enjoy fun content.
Yeah the bases where awesome but almost all the hermits got bored because it looked like a single player, that season really lacked group collaboration

S5 was completely tremendous but it definitely did fizzle out towards the end. Hermits didn't really interact with each other anymore, they just kept to themselves and trudged on with their megabases

I started watching hermitcraft when season 8 came out so this is the first time I'm seeing all the builds from season 7 and just holy crap they all look so good.
Plus their freaking *HUGE* builds. I can't wait to see all the new mega builds they do when mojang expands the top and bottom of minecraft in 1.18

I’m in the same boat as you. Just watched season 6 and now am here. It’s been a super cool journey getting to knows Grian and all about how this server works. The sheer amount of production and dedication is just so crazy.
It’s any minecrafters dream so see this happening. I know I want a server like THIS with my friends but not everybody has that amount of time and dedication on their hands yk? It’s truly a magnificent server.

All these bases are incredible, I know I’m like 2 (3?? ) years late but still, also false and cub’s bases literally made my jaw drop it’s fantastic (The others are just as amazing but false and cub’s bases were the only ones to make me go slack jawed in awe simply because I wasn’t expecting the sheer magnitude of them)

What's pretty funny is that when Grian extended the Turf War scoreboard (which works in the same way), he actually put the levers onto the front of the lamps unlike the existing lamps which were powered from the back. Edit: You can actually see that if you pause at 51:10 exactly when he zooms in.

My friend built a giant GIANT upside down flying sand pyramid supported by only torches (aka you remove the lowest torch the WHOLE thing collapsed). That was impressive as well

TFC doesn't really collab as often as other hermits.
I simply don’t understand how people can make such large bases. In my world it’s taking me weeks to build a church that’s not even huge
