Regarding Tiktok, It is important to note that if your account is not 18+, the Notification for the cape WILL NOT show. You need an account which is 18+ in order to receive the Tiktok Cape.

The Tiktok cape is a bit different from the twitch one, it has to be done on the phone (from my experience anyway) and you need to follow an eligible creator that is in the same region as you, then instead of watching for 15min, you need to type "minecraft" in the chat, for some it's watch for 3min.

Just to add to this. PC users can use BlueStacks or their personal emulator to run phone apps on PC to get it. I used BlueStacks to test it.

For the Twitch cape: It will apparently only be available to use on July 8th. However, as shown in the video, the code needs to be claimed before the 30th of June.

Happy 15 years! This game has created an amazing community on TH-cam. The hermitcraft crew, Dataless822, Technoblade. I started in 2012 i think, but that's even an insane amount of time.
I started probably Meer months before the release of PS3 edition, on an old crappy PC that couldn't run flash games well. Of course I opted for PS3, and later switched to PS4 because it was actually optimized (unlike bedrock)

I participated in building on the community map (I'm Jiingy in the screenshot), everyone worked on it for like 3 weeks straight and it was super fun :)

We certainly put in a lot of effort into it lol. I’m pretty sure one of the other people from my team had gotten to 80+ hours on the server by the end. I’m Techno_Guy_KWP, just to the left of one of the fireworks in the group screenshot. I really hope some videos of people exploring the map make it onto TH-cam.

I don't use TikTok but I made an account for the cape and I didn't have to really watch long I literally clicked the first Live video I saw and then commented Minecraft and got the code immediately, and then I just deleted the account once I got the Cape

@@EmperorPenguin1217 I just did the bare minimum... I downloaded Tiktok, made an account, got the cape (after much frustration) and then immediately uninstalled it.
It was really annoying, because you NEED to install the app and do it on mobile. They won't let you just do it in a browser on PC, it has to be mobile. 😓
Its super fast thankfully. It only takes 3 mins of watching a live cc minecraft creator (u can just mute ur phone) then u get the code

Given that they’re already collaborating with Google it would’ve been cool to find a way to do a TH-cam cape, though I suppose TH-cam doesn’t have the drop reward structure Twitch and TikTok do.
It may not be a collaboration, but simply some "easter egg".

As much as I like owning capes, I don't like twitch and tiktok and hardy ever use those websites at all. So, I'll be happy to just own the 15-anniversary cape.
Edit: I've decided to get the twitch cape but still won't be getting the tiktok one.
I think the twitch one is the best. But. I went ahead and grabbed the TikTok one using a throwaway tiktok account and bluestacks. "shrug?" I will def be using the twitch cape though.

I'll admit, the TikTok cape is pretty sweet. Simple, but stylish. Not making an account just for it, tho. TikTok is brainrot incarnate and I hate it.

I absolutely hate TikTok but I installed it briefly made an account not because I want to use the cape but just because I thought well as mich as I hate TikTok there’s only so many capes I can own

Do a dummy account with some throw away email, thats what i did and then deleted the app, all the info i inserted was fake, bday, name, location, etc, i also used a vpn and local proxy tracker blockers like adguard, then delete the account and uninstall tiktok

I feel like they should make a new piston varient. Silent pistons. (Sticky and nonsticky) Basically, normal pistons have their og sound, but a silent piston (piston in center of crafting grid, surrounded by 2-4 wool) would have the new sound.
Sucks that the coolest cape requires TikTok… 😞

Just want to clarify that the realms collaboration map is actually free to download from the article. It wasn’t at first but they updated it shortly after posting. There is a ton to do and explore, and it was a joy to work on it. We had only a little over a month to work on it, but I think I can say for all of us that we are super proud of the final product. I hope you do take a little time to explore it, even if it’s just flying around in creative.

I manage to get all of the 3 cages for the 15 anniversary
And I got the 3 because I never got capes for my Java, and since these 3 capes are gonna be in Java and bedrock it’s the best for both worlds for me, literally.

the tiktok cape is my favourite of the three new ones and is good enough id genuinely consider using it sometimes...

I think the piston is supposed to now sound hydraulic. Hence the fish
The piston now sound like a clock tic or wooden blocks clanking according to mumbos video.
If you have a VPN and are in the US you can switch your location to the UK and it should let you claim it. It just worked for me!
For tiktok in belgium the time function didn't work only if you comment "Minecraft" on the right live then i got the drop
I inserted the code in the field to redeem the twitch cape, it said it was now ready, but i didnt get it.

I have all capes except the tiktok cape which will take a day till it's able to be claimed which am very hyped for since it means I'll have 4 capes when they will be available for Java Edition as well. I like the creeper cape already

I accidentally redeemed my twitch cape in the wrong redeem section, I'm not sure if I'll get my cape tomorrow.
Hey, I have a question about the capes. I was on a call with my friend, and I was watching twitch to get the code. I got the code but when I redeemed it and went to my cape inventory it didn't show up. It also said I already had it when I got the cape again by making a new account on twitch and getting another code. My friend also got a twitch code and went to redeem it, but it didn't pop up in his cape inventory either. Next, we tried the TikTok cape. I couldn't even make a TikTok account because it says, "Can't open this page try again later." My friend was able to create a TikTok account and watched for an hour, and still didn't receive it. If you know anything about why this is happening, please reply.
Both the capes will only show up on bedrock edition for now. They will roll out in java edition in the coming weeks.
The tiktok cape can only be obtained using the app unfortunately

My only motivation for getting the capes is further skin combinations on java. I like making skins for free, and the capes just give an additional bit of material for me to work around. Got the twitch one (I like purple), caved in to get the tiktok one, though it may be to late for me by now.
All this social media stuff is too much for me and overwhelming, so as soon as the event is over, Im deleting these apps asap.

tiktok is like 3minutes click the ui thing that shows a tiktok on like a stone bar idk why not a cape or something lol and you get a popup and you click a button and you basically say Minecraft into chat with the button and bam you get a popup w the code

Does anyone else have an issue where the creeper cape doesn't appear in your inventory? I play Bedrock edition. I also lost my founders cape a while back and I'd also like to know why that's gone.
I'm completly lost as to how I can get this cape, I've tried 6 tiktok accounts on different regions that match creators but it always says game rewards not available in region.
Does anyone else have difficulties with the twitch cape? I got the drop on twitch, redeemed the code on the minecraft page, but it doesn't show up in my collection. The green one from the website appeared within a minute, but the twitch one is nowhere to be seen... did I do something wrong? Am I missing something here?

Clicking the "redeem" button didn't seem to give any indication that I had, in fact, redeemed it. I'll try again later, but it's really weird that there's no kind of confirmation at all.
So, I got the cape, and I saw I had the Migrator Cape as well... the thing is, I didn't know that that cape was for migrating to Microsoft, so now I've realized that I could have been wearing that cape all this time...

There's a lot of people trying to claim the cape. Genuinely just try again later as it suggests.

Can't wait for people to be scammed by signing into 'minecraft' for a cape. If they don't get scammed, it's hard to tell that it was a scam in the first place

I made a TikTok account just to get the cape (after I got it I deleted my account and uninstalled the app) and the whole time I was watching the stream there was this repeated piano sound that nobody else seemed to be able to hear and it was driving me crazy. Turns out it was another, non-live TikTok playing in the background. I hate it here.

I absolutely hate having to go to another source for in-game items. I play Minecraft. I don't play twitch, I don't play Tik Tok. (yes, I know they're not games) Why do I have to go there for Minecraft items. Consumables I don't mind as much as they're a use it and lose it item but a permanent thing like a cape should be available to anyone who plays the game. I shouldn't have to go to another source for it. (Please Note. This is not a "rant" against X, He just relayed the info about it and I'm grateful for the info.)
twitch and tiktok probably payed mojang some money to promote their website, i can almost guarantee twitch and tiktok are only doing this because they know that nobody wants to use their stupid ass website unless they get rewarded for it, really goes to show how pathetic these companies are.
