The first movie that I ever watched as a kid was of SRK, I was then may be 4-5 years old but I fell in love with that 30 years old man. Gradually, growing up, I started watching more of his art films than his commercial dramas, then I realized my keen interest in Drama, theatrical culture, cinematography, direction, scripts etc., being a small town girl from a very common and middle class family, I was always told that the world I was dreaming of, was something I could never achieve, as a teenager I was told I can never make my ends meet in the show business, the eighteen years old me had to choose a carrier that wasn’t what I dreamed of ever. Even though I could never build up the courage to fight the stereotype of a small town middle class girl to become a writer/director in show business, I would say I wasn’t courageous enough to be SRK ever. I chose to be a mediocre, I chose to have a simple life that I never wanted to have, I chose to write comments in my phone on Ted Talks. I really would like to appreciate what SRK must have gone through to achieve what he is today, lots of love to SRK. I’m your fan forever.

Some people here don't understand Shah Rukh at all. He is neither arrogant nor narcissistic. He is self-confident ,has lots of self-esteem and he's able to laugh at himself. All these qualities are typical of inteligent people. His speech is full of content but it's necessary to listen attentively, because he uses jokes, mataphores, sarcasm....etc. Not everybody can understand him. Only the sensitive and educated people can. We must be on the same frequency than him. Fortunately the majority of people are sensitive enough to catch the message which is his objective. The first movie that I ever watched as a kid was of SRK, I was then may be 4-5 years old but I fell in love with that 30 years old man. Gradually, growing up, I started watching more of his art films than his commercial dramas, then I realized my keen interest in Drama, theatrical culture, cinematography, direction, scripts etc., being a small town girl from a very common and middle class family, I was always told that the world I was dreaming of, was something I could never achieve, as a teenager I was told I can never make my ends meet in the show business, the eighteen years old me had to choose a carrier that wasn’t what I dreamed of ever.
Even though I could never build up the courage to fight the stereotype of a small town middle class girl to become a writer/director in show business, I would say I wasn’t courageous enough to be SRK ever. I chose to be a mediocre, I chose to have a simple life that I never wanted to have, I chose to write comments in my phone on Ted Talks.
I really would like to appreciate what SRK must have gone through to achieve what he is today, lots of love to SRK. I’m your fan forever.
This might sound cliche but Yk what they say right? It’s never too late. It might be harder with all your adult responsibilities now, but u never have to feel like life has passed you by until ur last breath. If you want, you can still chase your dream now, no need to settle for a mediocre life 🤷🏾♂️

Some people here don't understand Shah Rukh at all. He is neither arrogant nor narcissistic. He is self-confident ,has lots of self-esteem and he's able to laugh at himself. All these qualities are typical of inteligent people. His speech is full of content but it's necessary to listen attentively, because he uses jokes, mataphores, sarcasm....etc. Not everybody can understand him. Only the sensitive and educated people can. We must be on the same frequency than him. Fortunately the majority of people are sensitive enough to catch the message which is his objective. Maybe he's a little nervous but it's normal when you talk in front of many people and you want to explain a message whithout sound boring. Theeran M What is so great about him. Have you even heard the talk, all he does is promote himself. And please don't call him Badshah and all. It's because of people as juvenile as you about theatrics that make such scum of Bollywood popular. For the last five years he has done no good cinema. If you see movies like Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump- those my friend are called classics. All this psuedo-Badshaah does is the same old crap like Harry met Sejal (wow! That's a title of a film) and we as a country spend billions on his no sense cinema.
Please just stop pushing up such waste of space. I recommend you instead watch a Madhavan speech or an Irrfan Khan. And learn how an actor should conduct himself!
There's just something about this guy that posseses charm and calmness.
This is where he transcends being a movie star and becomes a bigger person than any of his colleagues. The reflection of his intelligence, education and upbringing when he speaks makes everyone else and their box office number race irrelevant. He has no competition when it comes to being a role model for millions which all public figures should be. And that is why at 51, he is still the King we all love beyond his movies. Respect.

I feel extremely sad for this guy... He is the one who took Indian movie graph very high as people of other parts of country know Bollywood because of shahrukh, whereas his own country people ( some haters ) started spreading hate for him by saying he is a traitor & many other negative things.... Which led to some people boycotting his movies & spread negative things about his movies through social media... That is true in last some years his choice of script is not that very good but not that bad as haters are doing it... He is a self made superstar... come in Bollywood with his own capabilities.... Apart from a great actor he is a very very good speaker & very witty... What a sense of humour & intelligence he is having.... that’s why he is one of the richest actors in the world... I hope he will back with a bang where Indian people will again realise what a gem he is for Bollywood !!!
