Yes I noticed this too! Jonathan didn't ask the typical questions, and he also made the feel of the interview very casual and relaxed. This looked more like a conversation between friends than an interview. Very well done!

Actually Rajesh's accent isn't exaggerated, people in India have different English accents due to different Indian languages that they speak, some people have strong accents and some don't
south indians have accent like that. Of course, people from a different country wouldn't know these details so they think whole of india speaks like that.

I’m an Aussie, and I got to meet Shah Rukh about 15 years ago at Mumbai airport. He was so lovely and humble and smiled as he spoke. A true gentleman!

As an African, he was in the first Indian movie I ever saw. I was 11 years old. I do not remember the movie name, but I cried and laughed and cried again and laughed..again. I have been hooked ever since. Him and Mr Amitabh Bachchan (forgive the spelling) were the first Indian actors I could recognise in a heartbeat.....hehehe...Brilliant brilliant brilliant talent!!!

90’s were different, It was not only SRK but AKKI , Suniel Shetty and many other were outsiders who were successfull. Those times Bollywood didn’t use to make big money’s. Now things are changed it’s more like a family business. It’s really really hard to get into the industry if you not the product of nepotism.

This man highlights the religious tolerance in India. It may not be perfect by any means, but its religious minorities are able to advance in every field. A perfect example where religious tolerance has failed , hands down, is Pakistan. There, all members of the religious minorities face daily discrimination, thousands of Christian, Hindu and Sikh girls are abducted by old men and converted by force. May India not ever stoop to the level that Pakistan operates on, which is clearly an apartheid state

Sushant is definitely giving us energy, that is why we are talking about it, it has been 4 months from his death and the trend for #JusticeforSSR is getting exponentially bigger every day. The whole Bollywood has been massively shaken, they all know that they are done and dusted. His death happened for a reason it was his his destiny. They can kill his body but when they mess with his soul, -you are in for a trouble that you would not have imagined. When I watched "Dostana" I didn't perceive it as Karan Johar's propaganda of homosexuality. For me, it was an extremely funny movie with good music and a fantastic cast! Yes, it's not the same as "Awaara" or "Bobby" but the production of the early 2000s was great. I wanted you to know that we respect your country, culture, traditions, and cinematography. My grandma even watches Indian soap operas which have been quite popular here for 6 years.
I love that Jonathan lets SRK talk and explain things, and he just listens intently without interrupting, love that. It seems like he's a very good listener, which can't hurt to have in this line of work! Great interview! Keeping sarcasm and jokes to a minimum and really just digging into the more relevant stuff that matters!! Love it!!

I love the way SRK took great dignity with bollywood and how they make their films he had to encounter some complexed questions here like dancing and singing he tackled them perfectly and also how he mentions Pakistan because he's had crazy amount of fans In Pakistan as well but ofc this interview is before from the attacks of 26/11 perhaps which changed the relationship between the two countries really sad to see that as well

I'm a Filipino and just started to watch Bollywood film thanks to Netflix. I'm surprised how many great films they have. Maybe Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham? I know this movie is extremely melodramatic. I freely admit that. But it probably stuck out to me because of the concept of arranged marriage (my mother was in an arranged, unhappy marriage with my father) and my father constantly bothered me to marry a guy from his home country. I always replied with "no, thank you" and this led to so many arguments even today, I somehow really feel for the characters.
