Great instruction, i replaced my SLK licence-plate filament-bulb with an LED bulb which then kept going on off, i tied in a 2nd bulb in series as you instructed, problem solved, 10 minutes work, thanks a million
Originally fitted : My LED lights failed after 2 years when I believed I would never need to replace again and replacements cost £11.99 about $15 each - so waste of time
How are you doing buddy? Maybe you could help me I have a 2006 ML350 and I have no license plate plates whatsoever. I put new bulbs still not working please help.
??? Why don't u not just replace them with real Led Lamps? Is much better and u get a much stronger better clean light. Replace the hole fixture and be done with it :)
+M H that's good thinking, I was shopping for entire light replacement like you're saying, but didn't find any, and after trying 5 different "no error" bulbs, I was disappointed by all... I kept getting the error code. This is a cheap way I found to keep OEM lights, use quality LEDs, and not have an error code Hope it helps
Maksim Ryabyy store.ijdmtoy.com/Mercedes-A-GL-GLA-GLK-M-SLK-LED-License-Plate-p/75-058.htm U can also find them ebay a bit cheaper I hope this helps but if course ur vid works to only those led usually stops working / blinking after a short while but that is a whole lamp replacement right there mate much better and gives u a real real niceer look u will see ;)
This is probably the most ridiculously hacked "light intervention" I've ever seen on a Mercedes! Really Big LOL 😂
This is the most jank fix for a luxury car I have ever seen. I'm not even mad, dude ahaha

I think he is resisting using a resistor.
How about using a resistor.....?
Just Canbus T10 leds for your license plate and you don't need any hacks to avoid error messages
