Probably the best instructional videos on youtube.Taking the time and effort to show all the necessary steps without unnecessary banter. Thanks a lot man.
Love your channel! This was really helpful when we wanted to test the passenger visor bulb in our 211 wagon. Great instructions and clear shot showing how to remove the cover. Turns out it was the little switch inside of the mirror in our case. We didn't have contact cleaner so we used some MAF cleaner (essentially the same thing) to clean the switch and voila! Let there be light. For others in this predicament, you can put a screwdriver across the contacts on the visor holder to test the bulb. (as we learned later :))
The mirror was a right pita to get back in! In the end I had to use a large flat head screwdriver and compress the spring away from opposing side with the unit in place on one side and it popped straight in.
Thanks for the informative video, while changing these one of the bulbs fell out of the holder falling into the trunk liner ( 17:30 ) any idea how i can fish it out or what the process is to access that area to get the bulb out?
Hey, which ones did you use for the rear dome light? I set them new led one's and the light doesn't work, then I put the old ones in and they worked, could it be that mine weren't drawing in enough power?
Hey bro what length is the bulb of the puddle light/welcome light???? i have a projector unit there but the light has gotten very weak EDIT for ppl looking for it: 37mm according to another video
Hi MT, Do you ever having a parasitic draw issue on your 211? My 09 e350 having issues with flat battery when parked for 2 days. Replaced battery 3times in last 6months. Did a draw test and was leak from driver seat control module. It draw over 4AMP in 24 hours. When I disconnect a seat connector, no more draw. Was told this issue is very common problem for w211.
Ugh 2004 211 mercedes-benz e320 4matic my sos is ruined this car idk what to do now radio stuck it was fine before I started fooling with the lights lol hello
Could you tell me how to change the bulbs in the rearview mirror? I don't know if you have to access it by opening it completely or just removing the bulb cover. seems like an impossible job
Some brands of bulbs work better. Usually I try flipping the bulb around or using a different one. I’ve had to return bulbs and order a different brand before to get them working.
You would need to just follow the same principles applied here to the w202. I don’t believe those came with any kind of OEM white lighting on the interior
I rather stay away from Autito brand as bought 5 different sets for my MB but too many issue and returned all. Wasted 2weeks... if you still want this brand, eBay sells dirt cheaper than Amazon like 50% Cheaper.
Yup i got three stacks i ordered i went right to auto zo e got stock halogen it eorks fuck it. Used a fiber loop and used it on voice module and it worked so tgat out the loop i can get a nrw vouce module bit what does it really do?
Here are the links for the bulbs I used: (T10 Bulbs ->) amzn.to/40tRSKK (38mm->) amzn.to/3ZdTcjN
Your link is to 36mm, not 38mm. Please update so people don't buy the wrong bulbs and they do buy the 38mm.

Much appreciated! I hate when people talk to much. Like I clicked on the view because of the title, not you life story 😆

@@youngjung4361 so3s tele aid malfunction on insrument cluster and wony ajnt
@@Jemstk your problem
No, never had any drain issues. Possible the seat controller is malfunctioning. At least you found the source, usually the hardest part
Did you use the 36mm ones? The link doesn't have 38mm option.
Yes I believe I used 36mm. The connections for the bulbs are moveable a few mm in each direction anyways
@@MercedesTech Ok, I'll give them a shot. It's the same bulb for the license plate lights, right?
Could you tell me how to change the bulbs in the rearview mirror? I don't know if you have to access it by opening it completely or just removing the bulb cover. seems like an impossible job
I believe they’re wired in LEDs that can’t be changed
Pop mirror off and yes it's easier to take back off mirror 3vclips to het to t10

Any assistance on how i can acquire an original one for my w202?

Good Review.
Is it possible to get coloured bulbs?
I have seen them. We had blue bulbs in my wife’s 220 a while back
Yes they got them same price
@@MercedesTechcan you assist me acquire some LED lights for my w202?
You should say what each size is a you put in the bulb so we sont'.Or at least say more than one. The glove box is 38mm.
So are they cambus or normal ones?
Interior bulbs usually don’t complaint but most the ones I used work in canbus needed situations
@@MercedesTech Ok, interior is for me most important. For the rest i have solution. Thank you for quick respond :)
So yea getting licence olaye light error I know their got to be solution without resistors friend said it can be coded in xentry we will see
@@Jemstk You didnt get the right led bulb. No resistors needed
That was hard when I was doing it first time.
👍👍👍
I’ve tried different brands I’m no longer wasting my money on these bulbs some are working some are flickering
That’s why I like Amazon, can buy them cheap and return if they don’t work. I had more trouble with the W220, facelift W211 seamed more forgiving

Cant spell for shit sorry
Sucks dont really pop vack on that good
sometimes those clips closest to the mirror can get messed up and you need to reshape them with pliers. also the mirror goes on first.
Don't like the white 3000k light . Original 2700k is excellent
Now my sos won't go off
May need to double check the connections of the overhead control panel. That’s where the SOS button sits
@@MercedesTech yes i know the sos button their itd red and in middle copartment the wrench and other button
I got it gone after 1year no more sos I used xentry
