Oh wow, this is interesting because in the US, the device you made just previously to separate the seeds from the cotton is what is called a cotton gin. This device you're naking in this video, though, has never been used in the US.

@@introvert211 In the west a process called carding was used to fluff up cotton and wool, involves a paddle with lots of wires on the surface.
I would say this set of tools is for 'fluffing cotton'.

That cotton looks like it already has seeds removed. A gin is for removing the seeds, maybe this does something else?
