Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've been interested in the FCR and tried it once, however, I'm not too keen in poking around the hornets nest that is MSFS 2024. Especially in VR mode. I can now create/save beautiful flybys over some of the spectacular scenery in MSFS2024.
Thanks man, very extensive explanation of this new and improved msfs 2024 replay mode. As a totally new guy to msfs I think this will assist me in becoming more proficient with the replay mode. As a totally new guy to msfs I think this will assist me in becoming more proficient with the replay application and improve landings!1 (Hopefully) :):)
So I'm getting the hang of replay mode and it's a lot of fun. But every time I queue up the beginning of the replay (on final) And I watch it and then go back and queue it up again and take plane control, my plane falls out of the sky like a brick, is this a known bug?
Is there no way to do a tower view in showcase truly locking on to the plane All the way down final to touchdown? The lock drone toggle on showcase seems useless?
That's outside of my expertise- but there may he a creator put there wjomcan gove you a quick answer?... Try the MSFS forums and search under drone or showcase.
Thanks Dude. This should help me, because the AI instructor is pretty rubbish. There's a lot the game doesn't tell you about. Such as the weather: What are the 2 modes? I think one says AGL and the other ADSL or something? I can't find any info on it, and it seems to slightly change the shape of clouds from what I can tell
@@theflyingdoctor Oh I see, thanks man. So all it did was basically move their position when I pressed it. Thought it might have been a rendering option or something, lol.
Are you saying we should disable the damage options? I think that's what you're saying, but it's not what you did in the video, you left them all "off" (i.e. enabled).
Whoops - Looks like I am showing where the options are. Would habmve been been helpful to show me switching them off, yes! If still on, it did not make a difference. Also, I'm not sure you need all types of damage off - eg stress damage... flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/17095693228060-Flight-Control-Replay-Quick-User-Guide Perhaps that is what affected the juddery performance in FlyAsAi - although that's a longshot. Thanks for watching.
From what I see the video is correct. It shows them off. Button switch to the left is OFF. I'm finding a lot of the assistances don't work well and turning them off is better anyway, such as Auto trim, which seems to fight you all the time
@@ArcanePath360 But the option is "Disable damage...", so having this off surely means enabled no? It's a double negative - very confusing! I would have thought that turning the option ON would "Disable damage". Now if the option was named "Enable Dmage" then I would agree that the setting should be off. Not the best UI!!
@@misterchippie I think the option is Disable damage assistance. Because the whole section is for assistance. So when it's on, you have no crash damage. I have tested and this is how it works. Turning off means it will damage because you disabled the assistance. I can see where the confusion is, and it might well be a double negative. They should have written just "crash damage: On/off"
Thanks for the tutorial. I was going mad when it would just crash my sim when loading a replay. This helped.
always a great idea to do tutorial videos in the pitch black dark of night…

ASL - altitude above sea level, AGL stands - altitude above ground level.
