Glad you like your M1 and it's still going strong. Having air-filled tires do make for a more comfortable ride but watch out for nails and screws. Not the scooter for me and my big feet though 😉
Love this channel so much ive literally just booked myself on a mobility scooter repair course in the uk. I have a question if you got time to answer it i want to buy and sell scooter ie repair if need be do you think i could make a decent second income doing this
Hi Gareth, great you're thinking of getting into this. I don't see why not. You probably want to sign up to as many manufactures as you can for parts if you can't find enough reliable used ones. Good luck bud 👍
Yes, there is a way, you would have to find out where the little speaker is and remove it. But it is a safety measure built in by the manufacture and could cause you legal issues if those blood sucking layers found out you removed it and ran someone over.
i own the metro M1 have had it for 2 years haven't had a problem with it. it had solid tires but we chainged them to air tires i like it a lot better

So true Ian you get what you pay for,the foot board is tiny I would definitely struggle to ride it,take care Ian and Jenny 👍👍
Defiantly, my big feet it's not the right fit for me. And that creaking was driving me insane. Take care buddy!
Thank you for showing us your amazing work. How would you rate the Metro Patriot? Is it a safe and reliable?
I did a repair to one, th-cam.com/video/0MZg4_eV0Tg/w-d-xo.html and a little review at the end that might give you some idea about the scooter.
I’m unable to lift the seat out to gain access to the battery cover/pack.
Try disengaging the seat rotation lever (as you would to rotate the seat) while rotating the seat and pulling up.

@lasvegasscooterslifts thanks for the reply is signing up with them just as easy as ringing them up or do I need to be a business
It's always best to get a business account with the manufactures to get better wholesale pricing and parts availability.
Hi Ian. that beeping is annoying as heck. Any way to turn that off?

Nice one Ian, just hearing that plastic tells you a lot that's a no for me. Say hi to Jenny, be lucky.
