random question for ya, did you ever bother doing the quest to tame the owlbears and other hybrid creatures? I've seen some really cool new pets in the new zone and wasn't sure if they were tamable? I tried doing the quest back in the hunter lodge, but it seems either bugged out or very long to finish so I gave up.

I've enjoyed using it too. It's not simming that far behind at all and if you get extra resets from things dieing including things like demon hunters fodder adds you get extra free procs so it'll be ahead then. But if you don't get any free early resets it's more effort for less pay off which is sad 😢
BM is incredibly strong out of the gate this season but as soon as you get your tier set and better gear, statistically Survival does slightly higher numbers and is better for M+. That being said this raid favors burst damage which BM does well at but Survival kinda sucks at, so BM is arguably better for a lot of the boss fights. Like I said though as people start getting better gear the two specs will even out in terms of damage output. I don't think that will mean more people will play Survival in M+ or anything though since it's statistically been the best of the 3 hunters specs all expansion for M+ yet it's been the least played. Even when it was busted in Season 3 of Shadowlands it was less played then BM.
The talent tree has been in need of some serious attention since Dragonflights beta. Sad to see a lot of classes/specs getting attention where as hunters been largely ignored each patch

I believe they fixed the trinket issue, I see it on the loot table for survival now
They did! They added it the other day when they hotfixed nerfed it but it's still BiS for us even after the nerf.
terms of engagement was super fun id be very sad if it ends up being bad

Hopefully it will get hotfixed before season 3 goes live but yes, as it stands it is very annoying
