Hey, great guide! Maybe one thing to add is: /cast [@player] Misdirection /cancelaura Misdirection (or [@party1], etc…) The “Misdirection” buff lasts for 30sec, but is useless in PVP. The “Interlope” buff lasts 10 sec and this is what redirects 3 spells to the pet. However, even if the 3 charges of Interlope are spent in a second, you’ll still have the “Misdirection” buff for 30 seconds as it is separate from the Interlope buff, and the cooldown of the ability will not start recharging until these 30 sec are gone and the Misdirection buff is over. So press this macro twice, it uses 1GCD only, the second press removes the useless Misdirection PVE aura that blocks the ability from recharging fast. With the macro: The CD of Interlope is 45 sec Without the macro: The CD of Interlope is 1min 15 sec (unless you manually remove the 30 sec misdirection buff)
That's actually pretty nuts man, good job figuring that out - the way buffs and cool downs usually work, I'm surprised it doesn't reset once the ability is used.

Wins and losses would be good to learn from. -Comp matchup strategies and scripts, would be nice to see as well. You're very good at explaining things in wow pvp. I'd like to hear your thoughts in 2s/3s matches as and vs a varierty of comps. Example: playing as hunter+feral/rogue/ret vs mage rogue or healer dps. What are the scripts for the matchup? What is the win condition? Also, adjustments you make when things don't go as planned. A personal pick for me would be comp strategies in 2v2 as Ret/Survival and Cupid Cleave in 3s. I love the content. I'm looking forward to more.

Hey Bicmex great guide! Been following your stuff ever since SL and it‘s always been giga helpful. Question: How do you deal with melee cleaves in Blade‘s Edge? I feel like on any other map I can kite them out and it‘s usually an „easy“ win, however playing on the bridge in Blade‘s Edge I can‘t really do that. Any suggestions?
on blades edge i just give up, that map is the absolute worst - since the only way you can kite is to drag people on top of your own healer. I've started going knock trap instead of intimidation and just standing in the middle to try and knock them off and secure a win that way (only in shuffle, don't do this in 2s/3s thanks)
Very important question : how do you switch from the target to the healer ? Do you use specific macro that by default focus the healer (which i do) and i have an other mouse bind to do the normal spell but this part is a bit less pratical if you have to be in motion (using also the mouse) while casting despite it works fine. For exemple i have this for Harpon and Assault and every control. The thing is that you can only use them on the healer or you have to have to different binds for each spell ! :/ Maybe you use the mouse to target the right target before each control or cast ? I'm really wondering how you manager your tagets wich i thing is a very important point no one is talking about ! Thanks a lot in advance ! Sure it can make a greate video again ! :)

Great guide. If you were to get in a dev's ear and enable a change for survival hunter, what would it be? I imagine LoS bugfixes and maybe better passive mitigation
hunters doesn't need passive mitigation in my opinion, probably making it so survival tactics also reduces the cooldown of feign death by 10 or 15s would be enough for hunters to be extremely durable - but still prone to dying if the hunter fucks up and then fix the disarm line of sight bug, and coordinated/spearhead not working if you're next to a wall sometimes. also need to fix the ever increasing issue of random pets eating your freezing trap, maybe making it so it always prioritizes players over minions/monsters? i don't mind pets or other players eating traps becuase that at least takes skill
Interesting take, I think all of the above raises the skill ceiling for survival even higher. I think they need better passive mitigation for m+, so I'd stick with that, but FD is definitely a unique ability to build around.

i just did 1.50 (default global cooldown) / X (where X is the haste% you're looking for) = global cooldown you're looking for. So if you're looking to get 1.20 global cooldown then you'd just type in 1.5/x=1.2 and see that x = 1.25 aka 25% haste

i mean you can but it's not that crazy, especially since you'll lose a lot of potential damage since you'll lose the dot damage of some bombs by doing this

Example would be: Q= freedom on me CTRL+Q= Freedom on party 1 Alt+Q= Freedom on party 2 Is this doable without having to create 3 separate buttons on my action bars?
Mainly because haste lowers your global cooldown, meaning you can press your spells off faster. Currently i prefer to have my haste around 33.34 for 1.12 gcd, the lowest i'd recommend currently is 29.87% haste aka 1.15 gcd.

What do you do for opener if you dont have any of the set pieces? Dinged 70, geared half as mm half as bm. swapped to survival. 100000 damage, 0 clue whats doing the damage, feels like im not doing anything but seeing crazy numbers. bomb is ridiculous
Do you really recommend going wrist/boots? I am dusting off my survival hunter and want to make him something so will be taking your advice here though I suspect it won't matter all that much.
i'm 99.99% sure it's for all 3 hunter specs, when they buffed master marksman last time it was also under the MM catagory... even though that buff was for all 3 specs
I just started survival hunter in s3, it's pretty fun. Unfortunately I can only play it when my wife is available to press the other 25 keybinds on my number pad while I use the left side of the keyboard for the other 75 and my mouse for the additional 35.
you can if you want, i use to have it baked into my mongoose bite for the longest time - I removed it though cause one time I wanted to pre put my pet on the healer and be ready for a stun trap (since they were behind the pillar), but Instead my pet just walked off tryna taunt a dk pet so when it was time for me to stun -> trap the healer they were already behind the pillar. This made it so the healer could put down an earthen wall as they peaked my pet stun and our go was just over from there💀 i just want to be in 100% control of my pet all the time :D
@@Bicmex Ah, I see. I main BM so probably nice to have that macro baked in because most of my dmg comes from my pet. I can't afford to leave the pet on healer.

usually just kiting away from the enemy healer is your best bet

Lol learn to use shift and control keybinds so u can keep pressing the same buttons and then only having to add a extra held shift or control
I use q e r f z x c v and then use them over again with shift and control, and if u have a mouse with numbers on the side you can bind those too
