Was about a 1 hour install don’t forget to start the clock on the 2 hr wait before connecting the batteries back up. And why not if your at it go ahead and install the MAP spacer by s&b. No check engine or issues after install
Great video, installed mine on 2021 chevy 2500hd and disabled filter in settings and threw a po26c code slightly afterwards. cleared code once and came on again roughly 50 miles later. installed with roughly 550 miles on truck and have roughly 700 miles on truck now. Would like some answers.
@@nevin7011 Actually had S&B engineer come over and install new piping coming from the horn to the intake box. He said they did some measurements and it was the 2nd issue they ran into that had this outcome so they investigated and seem to be slightly to much air flow. Seems this has only happened on a couple but they were redesigning the tube to prevent it on others. Since then I've had no issues. Customer service was very helpful and responded to me and soon as i posted the issue, and was at my front door within 2wks.
And what to do if the service filter system light illuminates? Have had this filter on my 2020 duramax for 1.5 years and today the filter reminder tick accidentally got checked on and now my dash reads service filter system. Dealer wont disable it.
@@SBFilters It was in red from the start. Dealer wouldnt disable it but found a diesel shop who did. Dang dealers and their ways! They said they wouldnt do it without the stock air box installed and wouldnt do it under warranty.

Give us a call. If the message is in yellow, you can disable it, but if you cleared the message too many times, then the dealership will need to do it
