Just installed this S&B on my 2020 AT4 6.2L and it gives the truck more growl and throttle response. Truck has Borla atak cat back and this CAI 🦾🦾🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 runs fukn awesome 😎

Just put this on my 2021 Silverado Z71 5.3L and it sounds bad ass!
I've had one of these in my 2020 LT Trailboss and I love it. However after about 4 months I started getting DTCs P0171 and P0174 (bank one and two lean) and my dealer insists this intake is the problem.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?

I just kept running it and the engine light turns off after awhile 🤷♂️
Supposedly you're supposed to wait 2 hours before hooking up the battery again. They didn't mention this in this video and same thing happened to me. I'm reinstalling mine today and waiting full two hours according to American Trucks video where they talked about it.
Would like a better camera angle on the pin by the throttle body. No visual on that.

Any clue as to why there is a ppfff sound coming from the new ccv quick connects tube s&b supplies, when shutting off the truck? 2022 Silverado refresh model….was told it would be compatible….
So where's the tune? My 2019 GMC was factory order with a cold air intake. It was installed at the dealership. Tech said, reprogramming the ECM is required to recalibrate the mass air flow sensor to gain it's potential horsepower increase.
tune only applies to the factory "performance" CAI ... not req'd or spec'd for aftermarket 3rd party
I have a 2020 AT4 with a 5.3L and the tube from my throttle body to my filter does NOT line up as easily as she gets it. I had to straight up wrestle it to get it to fit and even then it didn't fit correctly to me. Seemed like the couple at the throttle body was way off center.
Can you install the intake and the oil separator together?
Im having an check engine light and its reading code p0171 and p0174 too lean bank 2. checked for leaks and disconnected battery for over 2 hours. HELP

Just ordered mine for my 21 Silverado 6.2L. Do you disable the air filter monitor before or after the first start after install? Don't want to get a check engine light.

Does the factory intake pick-up location stay the same? I flooded my 2019 Trailboss (shallow flood waters) and after i realized the pick-up is very low considering the off-road package of the truck.. Will this intake kit help? Thanks for the "how to" videos! Very Helpful!

What would the difference between a the 2 different filters? Pros and cons?
I'd also like feedback on wet vs dry. Googled and had some general information posted, but would like to hear it from folks who actually have ran both or had experience over the years. I believe simply, wet cleanable you have to oil yourself and last forever, whereas dry replaceable you don't have that re-oiling maintenance, but do need to replace like every 3rd oil change. I think out all of the CAI's I am seeing I am down to either the standard GM intake/with retune code included ($468 Chevyparts.com with discount code), or Rotofab ($489 Amazon).
So I installed it in my 5.3 Sierra denali but it won't let me disable my air filter life it just says check air filter system in red, any ideas?
Have you tried disconnecting the negative terminal for at least 2 hours as stated in the instructions when first installing the unit. Call it the red light of death on your dashboard because it is going to drive you nuts.

unplug battery for 2 hours. disable the air filter in the menu inside the vehicle
@4:37 Please note: You are going to drop these grommets. Many times. Make sure kids are not in the room as a lot of cussing will happen in 3....2....

Yes, it wouldn’t be hard to pull with it still installed.
Will there be a kit for the 2.7? The stock air box looks the same.

@@TheIncredibleHoosier works for people that don’t want a v8. I have a 5.3 but for reviews the 2.7 still awesome for towing at a lower gas consumption.

Im assuming to put the ecu into a relearn mode to self adjust the maf sensor for the new cai setup

No i disconnect only for the install time about 40 mins
@@ismaelortiz2649 supposed to be 2 hours. Computer needs time to reset. 40 minutes not long enough
You want more throttle response get the pedal commander
Pedal Monster is better product because it gets its own 12v power from the OBD

Anthony what difference have you noticed? And what about sound?
@@austinlatour8404 The biggest difference I've seen is in the sound. You definitely can hear it and increased throttle response. I can't say that I feel more power and I will probably never put it on the Dyno.
Anthony is it more throaty now in sound? I usually run in sport mode and would like just a bit better throttle response
