I find this instruction to be immensely helpful and straightforward. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Great video, thanks 👍
Good video. I'm surprised that with all the attention to detail, Losi forgot to put on a chain slide to protect the swing arm . I'm sure that someone will manufacture aftermarket ones in all colors and make some money . 💰
WD-40 works great for cleaning as well and it does not have the harsh plastic eating stuff in it. If you don't do your best to dry it off before you spin the wheel it will make a bit of a mess. Great video, a lot of good info here espeically for folks who may not have had a motorcycle before.
Standard WD-40 is both a cleaner and a lubricant, which means it sacrifices aspects of both. While I agree it is better than nothing, I personally prefer to use a cleaner first, then a lubricant second. WD-40 is a great quick solution but if you have the time/money Id suggest going with separate products. Thanks for the praise!
Excellent instructional video, you’ve got a talent for it.
Thank you so much!!!
Great job. Awesome video
Thank you!
It's called a swingarm, not trailing arm. Otherwise good video. I'll be using my motorcycle chain cleaner to clean the chain but of course if you don't have a motorcycle you probably don't have chain cleaner.
Always do the nut up or undo it, never undo or do up the hex head. On a motorcycle the sprocket will not wear deeper but the gaps between the teeth will open out. I don't know about the Losi because here in Australia we are still weeks away from ours shipping.
P.S. On the motorcycle I wipe the chain lube off with a rag to avoid the mess and fling.
That oil seems like it will attract dirt, I'm thinking Tri-flo with teflon may be a better option.
Yeah I'll certainly prefer the chain oil I use on my atvs but I'll use the one they gave with it up first.
Trailing arms apply to 4 wheel vehicles it's a swingarm on a motorcycle
Yup my bad.
You should test thicker oil in the shocks to see if that help with bottoming out.
I actually haven't had much issue with that, but Im also not one to send it 40 ft to flat. Im going to be racing so I cant set it up for mega jumps only.
How long moving forward will losi have part’s available. At some point this will become obsolete. Any thoughts?
Its still doing very well from what I can see. Its mostly available now but theres still a lot of hype around it. I dont see this one going anywhere anytime soon.
My chain for some reason gets tight, loose, tight, loose, when i spin the back wheel, any ideas? i cant see any problems, the wheel isn't buckled and ive only put a few packs through the bike
My first thought would be the rear axel is loose. Did you make sure to include the spacing pills on reassembly.
@@NHO-RC it was like it before i even drove the bike, and yes the pills were in it, i have fixed it, i ended up unscrewing the hub from the wheel and changed its position, all good now
Order a 04B master-link. then you can take the chain off the bike. will make it much easier to clean and lube.
I think the best part is when he pulls out the axle and then shows it on camera in his palm to let us know that is in fact an axle. If you don't know what an axle is you shouldn't be playing with rc's
Everyone has to start somewhere!
Don't believe any of this It is the promoters will get the product.. Next year for the hobbyists like me.. I got my refund and I am lucky..
I didn't get mine for free I paid for it. I'm way too small of a channel to get it for free! I wish!
I just walked into my LHS and bought one couple weeks ago🤷♂️. I took of training wheels so much better.
