In today's video I'll be reviewing the Minimalist 10% Niacinamide + Zinc. Niacinamide has a lot of benefits on our skin. Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3. It is an essential nutrient for development and functioning of cells. It balances oil and sebum production to decrease breakouts. It minimises pores, it is anti inflammatory and also hydrates our skin. In this video I'll be sharing my journey with Niacinamide. How it transformed my skin in the past 1 year. See i have exctly same amount of pimples as yours on cheeks and around mouth , + i get tiny bumps later they convert into inflammed acne but most of the time they are just like tiny bumps on my cheek and they are probably called as comdones. I also have acne scars and pigmentation problem around my mouth. So
To solve all these problems i have bought certain products plz tell me how can I use them . I have demelan (glycolic acid) azelaic acid , vit c , salicylic acid 10% derma co and 10% niacinamide. I use vit c in morning with mosituriser and sunscreen. But now plz tell me how can I use all other ingredients? Should I use all these one by one on alternative days? Like one day glycolic acid , and one day salicylic, then azelaic and niacinamide as night treatment? Is it safe to use all these products on alternative days, daily. I don't want to pair up anything. Because i have quite sensitive skin though. So plz help me with.
Edit:- i am no beginner, i have been using acids like a year. Though i am new to salicylic and niacinamide.
Hi please do reply, so I have been using minimalist niacinamide for about 2 months now & because it indeed worked so well that I have ordered a new one which is the one u showed in this video with 10%niacinamide with zinc n hyaluronjc acid, what I want to know is the colour of your serum? Coz the the one I previously used was clear transparent white but the one I received this time is slightly yellowish, i know that when vit c gets oxidised it turns yellow but not sure about niacinamide, so I m kinda worrried if my new bottle is already oxidised or not

Hi, Yes the one I received is slightly yellow in color. I feel its because the contents have changed a little, this one also has EUK - 134 might be because of that. I’m not sure. However I can assure you that it works well just like the previous one, so there’s nothing to worry at all.

Hello mam,actually i have some dark spots of acne and i ordered minimalist syrum containing Niaciamide 10 percent .On the first day of using this,i got many acnes on my face .And main thing is ,this serum seems oily .Even in 2-3 hrs of applying on face,it doesnot get absorbed to my skin.So i stopped using it .Could you tell me is this a real product or fake as it seems like oily texture ??please mam
I advice u to apply moisturizer after applying the serum. Even I had the same problem
Hi, My face doesn’t feel oily after applying Niacinamide. Use a moisturiser after applying it & then notice. Or you can shift to 5% Niacinamide

Hello didi im using the ordinary alpha arbutin and it works great for my dark spot but sometimea i got little red pimples thats why i want to use it can i use it with alpha arbutin serum?

I have started using niacinamide(minimalist) by 3 to 4 days but the portion of acne has been increased. I apply only moisturiser on it and don’t apply sunscreen. So what do I do use it ?
It might be purging. did you do a patch test? If you use it in the morning a sunscreen is mandatory. Start with a lower concentration anytime you use an active ingredient.
Are the acne results because of cica gel (your last video) or niacinamide? Did you use the serum along with the cica gel? Thanks!
Hi Megha, Its majorly because of niacinamide. But anything with Niacinamide just adds to the benefits. You can use Salycilic Acid Face Wash, Vit C, Gel Cream for even better results.

I do completely agree with you, Niacinamide is a magic ointment. I had grade 3 acne for a year, i was on isotretenoin treatment starting october 21 and it gave me more breakouts during the process of treatment, i started using niacinamide after 5-6 months of isotretenoin ingestion and it worked wonders for me. Since then, until now i have never skipped using niacinamide and neither i plan to do so in futurre. It has reduced my skin pore size, it has reduced the acne scars i had, it did improve skin hydration. I would suggest everyone to add this heavenly ingridient in their skin care routine

Hi, Haven’t used the plum one yet so I dont know if it gives any initial purging or not. I would suggest use it for a few days & also apply some natural aloe vera gel on your face to calm your skin. If it still continuous then pls stop using it.

Niacinamide really works for acne prone skin...this is evident...During lockdown i faced lot of acne issues...me sab DIY try kia kuch nehi kam kiya...not any single remedy worked fr me...Then i ordered Mamaearth skin correct serum (with 10% niacinamide) after seeing so many positive review..and yes, when single remedy didnt wrk fr me, niacinamide did! not only acne but also acne spots gone....i used 5/6 bottles continuously twice a day...my face was clear with no pigmentation and spots at all...then i continue this serum, applied once a day or alternate basis..Now i use minimalist one...n it also worked well! (Note: whatever u use, do a patch test on hand and face.)

You shouldn’t generally get so many pimples, it can be a sign of purging. I’d suggest do a patch test ie apply the product only on one side of the face for a few days and then see

Hey, you can use Niacinamide &
Salycilic Acid together too you can layer them one after the other. First apply Salycilic Acid & then layer it up with Niacinamide if you want to use both

Hi, Since you are just 16 I would recommend using the niacinamide serum in control. Do a patch test and if it suits you then apply it 3-4 times a week. Also use aloe vera gel on your face and keep it as clean as possible.

Hey, I had ordered the 10% one and it suited me pretty well. If you have extremely sensitive skin then go for 5% otherwise you can upgrade to 10% it will help better

Hi, I started noticing a lot of difference in my acne after using it for 2 months daily. My acne has reduced a lot but that doesn’t mean I dont have bad days. I still sometimes get acne..its a long process & needs a lifestyle change moreover. So if the product is suiting you do not stop. Keep going and make healthy changes in your life

Hi, yes you can try using it but just 2-3 drops on a clean face. Also do a patch test before using it. I would also recommend using salycylic acid later on but for now start with niacinamide and let me know

Hi, no not really. Do a patch test for a week and if its still not suiting you then I’d recommend you to stop using it.
It can cause irritation acne if you use too much. You only need a few drops.

Hey, sometimes they keep upgrading the product. Minimalist Niacinamide has been upgraded once, as far as I remember the color of old one was white. I dont think you can receive fakes from Flipkart

Hi, I started out with 10% as a beginner, didn’t cause me any issues. If you aren’t too sure start with 5% and then you can switch to 10. Specially if you have sensitive skin

Hi, euk 134 is still a very new ingredient that brands have started introducing in. As far as I know it helps in brightening the skin, removes dead cells & is good for dull skin. It doesn’t cause any irritation because its mixed in a very small proportion with niacinamide

Hi, with any serum you’ll have to apply the serum first and then the moisturiser. Try using a facewash which wont dry out your skin. You can check my review on the dot & key facewash, its not drying at all

Don't apply sunscreen at night
Use it during the day time and reapply it after 2-3 hours

Hi, there are too many that I personally like using. I’ve reviewed a couple of them on my channel you can check it out. It also depends on your skin type. If you have oily / acne prone skin I would recommend checking my review on Cetaphil Moisturiser & for sunscreen the laniege one. Dermaco & Aqualogica also has some amazing sunscreens I’ll be reviewing some soon

Hey, no ideally you need to apply a moisturizer after niacinamide, use a matte one of your skin gets oily. Sometimes you can skip it but I wouldn’t advise skipping it daily

Chill kid .... all pimple is normal .... just concentrate on study.. alsobdonkit use random products looking at videos ... go to a doctor ... thats it .... any salicylic facewash will help but dont use any chemical without consulting doctor ... all the best

Hey, you can use it at either time just be sure to not layer it with Vitamin C. That’s why I prefer it at night since I apply Vit C in the day
