I'm from Pakistan and we use these motors for tubewells and pumping water because some parts here barely get rain and the water system is very poor that's about it, these are dangerous and cause accidents but you can get these motors for about $50 here. They are barely 32HP and run off of normal 240V AC outlets (no 3 phase). Tesla after 2019 uses SynRM 3 phase Motors and previously used induction motor made of carbon fiber windings and produce anywhere from 400-600HP per motor with a 3 phase inverter at the same time they are designed for regenerative breaking. A motor is a tech that dates back all the way to the 1920s and has evolved all these years. If you see any poorly built dangerous motor it's ofc entirely different from what is used in EVs. I know you were joking about EVs but it shows how ignorant people are about these things. Even Mercedes & YASA wasn't able to build the same quality motors Tesla Puts out.
It doesn't matter if these motors don't survive or aren't built upto the standards in the West, they are cheap and get our farmers enough water to irrigate rice crops. They last a season or two in damp conditions and some have lasted a good 8 years in dryer climates and we even have people who rewind the same rotors each season for $8 and it starts running again. It's just 28-32HP, 240V horrible back EMF and gets the job done, some newer 12V motors running off solar have also emerged but they don't have as much torque
Bro compared a pump motor with an EV's one 🤧
Yea ! The most important thing it’s that u don’t depend on other country for make your own motors (the brick foundation of the modern world) continue the great work! Your people are very good !
@@leagueofrebellio1224 your's are single phase. Actually three phase induction motors that are used in lift or farming can be more than tens of HP.
I think those induction motors used in house need less maintenance than the EV motors. EV motors run at very high rpm and have complex cooling systems, thus you have to change those motor's bearing and coolant after a certain time. Meanwhile, motors used in your house if they are of good quality can run more than 5 years without any issue
Thank your for sharing, such a nice comment
Whats the point of having such a high quality tesla motor if the battery is going to fail in a matter of years making the value of and the car itself a major pain in to ass to absolutely obsolete?
