Can I just say... THANK YOU. You solved a problem I have trying a dozen other solutions and now I am just wondering why I didn't think of it in the first place. Makes perfect sense. I have been getting in my canal after every trip to flush out my motor. Thank you!

No. The inlet port or the flush is the normal exit port for water from the exhaust. There should be a constant flow of cold water and while warmed by the engine exhaust, I never felt it to be that warm. After running the Switch for 3 hours, the valve felt fine and not hot at all.

I too have my Switch (2024 21 Limited) on a lift. I have done the modifications as you have shown and I appreciate your instructions on doing this. My question is, are you now running with the port side exhaust flush cap removed and the installed valve closed?

I enjoy your videos. They are very helpful. Do you have any concern over the effect the hot water may have on the piping? Could it cause the pvc pipe and valve to fail? I think pvc is rated to 140 degrees.

Hi Frank. Love your videos and I'm doing several of your mods.
Question on the latest contraption. Could that same shutoff valve be used to cut off the water intake to protect while towing? If so, which line would that be?

I have a hose clamp that I used on my seadoo speedster. I'm wondering if you we can identify which hose, we could just clamp it while towing. Thanks again, Frank!

@@Xyzzxy123 Yes. I'll do a video on it. But if you look at the hoses on the inside of the back engine compartment, there are two Y hose connectors. One port and one starboard. The starboard side is the one we used to flush the exhaust system. The port one is the water inlet while underway. This hose is where you's place the tow tap. But, I need to identify exactly where the exhaust (resonator hose) goes. Is the water inlet hose the only thing that needs turned off? Or it there the danger under tow of water entering the exhaust port itself? If so, then a tow tap on this hose would be ineffective. I'll be looking further,

Did you cut the hose in half to install the valve?
