Paul Murray mocks a 'passive-aggressive' PM who 'wishes you well'

- Sky News host Paul Murray has mocked the “passive-aggressive” efforts of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his eleven media advisers as they reuse a “familiar” phrase when handling difficult people in politics.
Mr Murray pointed to the Prime Minister wishing his tenant well after the renter lashed out at Mr Albanese
selling the investment property he was residing in.
“It is just a way of saying, ‘see ya later’,” Mr Murray said.
Mr Murray drew an example where Mr Albanese wished well to an organizer of a domestic violence rally who accused the Prime Minister of making her cry.
“Ah, he wishes you well - that is very important isn’t it? No, it is basically, ‘you screwed me over by embarrassing me so I wish you well but I don’t wish you well, get away from me’.”
His circumstances have changed, he is about to fired.
No he knows what's about to happen to the market and is divesting his portfolio!

I say this to people all the time, they just put this dumb look on their face like they don't understand what I just said. They are completely brainwashed beyond help I think.
Albo didn't win by high votes, they only got a little over a third of the total votes. They won because everyone wanted to send a message to the coalition that they weren't Happy. No one realised that two thirds of the population were doing the same thing.

Thank you Paul Murray for putting the focus back where it should be in this story. The issue is not his rights as a landlord but the inconsistency this move has with Albosleazy's image. The timing st!nks. The tenant needs the stability of being in that house more than our dud PM can pretend to need the money. The disconnect between Albosleazy's carefully constructed image and his true personality is becoming so obvious even to Blind Freddy. I have disliked him and seen through him since about 2016. I was a constituent, I needed help with an issue directly related to government policy, I repeatedly reached out for help from his office and I was never responded to.

The other day while I was waiting in a public waiting room for surgery watching sunrise I heard the prime minister say that he's in the highest income bracket like he was bragging about how much he makes. It's a joke you know politicians shouldn't be paid any more than any other public servant

Here in the west we are suffering due to all the people escaping the east that are used to high prices. They throw extra at everything and have driven our prices up since COVID. What once cost 350 is now 650, how does a small family on minimum wage survive... They don't. We now have nurses in cars, teachers couch surfing. All governments have known if you only look after investors and with the amount of people coming in that more housing needs to be built. Not blaming people from the east wanting to escape the draconian lock downs but dang.. we need to put the brakes on things for a year minimum and build more. Immigration of skilled workers needs to be shut for a year and start training our own. I'm not saying permanent but a year would help so much. Most kids of today unless given help will never own.. get rid of Airbnb's would also bring a lot of housing back to the market.

Just had to pay $1000 dollars in land tax for 2 units one in which my daughter lives in and another that a renter lives in and apparently this is supposed to help the rental crisis.. If I sell my units my daughter has no where to live and we kick out a tenent who will find it extremely hard to find a new rental property or I increase the rent to cover the expenses imposed on me by the government...
