In the case of Hamas and Iran . . . there is LITERAL AND CLEAR speech intended to incite violence AND likely to LEAD TO VIOLENCE (that has all been clearly shown now). Hence I would think that that kind of pro-Hamas speech in the UK would be deemed illegal. I wonder . . . but that it is HATE SPEECH . . .that is as clear as day.

I'm thinking politics should be taught in universities alongside objective history.
As a foundation for good politics (more statesman like and less shortsighted and governed by power and greed) you need understand history and background and connection. So I would put strong emphasis on good history eduction before any politics. But basically I would agree with your point.

I've always loved Melanie Phillips and we need to see and hear from her more often. She seems to be able to convey meaning of complex issues in an easily assimilable way.
