I got to meet Albo and chat to him for quite a while back in 2019. He’s the real deal. Not arrogant or self-entailed. He was absolutely lovely and so genuine. I was most impressed by him and I wasn’t sure what to expect at first I admit. At last a Prime Minister who’s not a giant embarrassment both here at home and on the international stage. I wish Albo well. Great doco by the way too. Well done.

During the 2019/2020 bush fires albo was on the ground supporting volunteer firefighters with his own time and money. He didn't hold a hose but he supported those that did. Regardless about how you feel about labor and their policies the man actually cares.

Real work has not really begun. There is still a federal budget. Free TAFE nationally rather than only in Vic. New university places. Federal ICAC. All the new government is doing at the moment is trying to solve problems. Many inherited. Some problems were created by the former government while others are not the fault of Morrison’s government, yet were never fixed, like the cost of living crisis.
Not for me he hasn't.

That was fare journalistic reporting, warm and genuine from both men.
It seems our new Labor Prime Minster shows us he has empathetic benevolence, we are yet to see if he has the strength of dictator for the good of his nation.
In a very short period of time since Labor has taken over from liberals, we are seeing significant repairing going on. Hopefully we can get Australia and China relations back on a sure footing again.

He needs to remove the tax cuts from higher earners. Someone on $200,000 is saving a further $10,000 in tax a year. That money could be served elsewhere like proper training so that defective social housing isn't being built. Blind spot.

Bragging about having a tennis court, when so many people are homeless is cringeworthy. He enjoys the job because he gets perks like overseas travel and ridiculous allowances curtesy of the tax payers which he uses to wine and dine his partner. He should have got rid of Shorten who ensured some Australians lost their jobs to foreign workers. People here need work too, and they should be helped to get into employment first.
