Bro, I used to fish for red's and speckled trout out of south Louisiana when I was a kid 40 yrs ago.Mostly Delacroix island's marsh. Always light tackle and with my Dad with spoons an such. Biggest red was prolly 8lb and biggest spec prolly 4. Just found your channel and love watchin you nail em with modern gear. I vacationed in Pensacola a couple times recently and chartered a guide and mainly fished the bay around the docks for rat's. Caught a few 3-4 lb red's and cooked em up. Tried for bigger fish at the mouth and my son got into a nice one that straitened his hook...lol. Bout pulled him outta the boat...lol. Thanks for your channel and subscribing!

In response to the answer about adjusting your drag, and this might turn out to be a stupid question, why can't you just palm your drag and use your hand to tighten down on the drag rather then adjust it constantly?
