I've had other BPM baits th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

So, I noticed something odd about your videos, ND; when watching your vids, I get a feeling of calm relaxation that I myself do not achieve when I am out on the water...your "zen-ness" is just awesome. As others have said, there's no obnoxious music or forced emotions; you're just a guy in a kayak enjoying a day doing what you love! Maybe I'm too invested in myself when fishing vs. watching someone else, but DAMN are you great to watch! Thanks for the videos and advice! I hope to one day get up to the Boundary Waters for a 7-10 day kayaking trip and land me some of those Pike they're famous for. FISH ON!!!

I call you the "Bob Ross of TH-cam anglers". You calmly say "That's exciting", when snagging these monsters, and I would be having heart failure! Very entertaining and informative videos. I don't have these monsters near me in Oregon, but I'm going to try the whopper plopper for smallies this year.

Wow. This was so relaxing a genuine. Thank you for just being a normal (although supremely gifted) caster instead of a showboating, annoying anything-for-views fisherman.

This is my new fishing channel. That looked like a lot of fun. The weather was nice. A couple of decent pike. Solitude. What more could you ask for? Excellent. Thank you.

Apparently, muskies have excellent eyesight with binocular vision, and a high number of cone cells in their eyes, which helps them see at night as well, and a lot of rods in their eyes, which helps them to spot movement and shapes very well. It’s probably why they are called the fish of 10,000 casts.

You have a very pleasant voice and I LOVE FISHING!! I’ve never seen that lure. I Jesse to deep sea fish for the big tuna! I’ve lost count how many I’ve caught but what a joy. Thank you for sharing this

Even if you didn’t catch a thing, where you launched was a great way to spend a day. Beautiful sunny day birds singing, water was calm. You can’t beat a day like that on the water.

River fishing is awesome! The fish seem a little more aggressive on the river and they relate to structure and current breaks that are a lot easier to see without electronics. Here where the wind almost never stops you can always find some calm spots on the river too.
