Thanks for that have to run a earth wire into a old extension so I can install a ceiling fan will have a go at slipping one sheet up bit to get the wire through.
@@stuckster As you can see from this video the hard part is getting started. If you jam a screwdriver into the end between the two sheets it will lift easily. You can make the video for me if you like.
@@gunsparky Thanks. Yeah you demonstrated the screwdriver method in this video. Will def give that a try. You mentioned in the comments that you had a slightly better way. Were you referring to the screwdriver in the end?
@@stuckster Not quite. In this video, I use a pry bar to peel the top sheet away from the side. If you use a screwdriver over the top between the two sheets it will lift a little easier and do less damage to the top sheet. It's a minor thing but hey. I am currently nursing a knee injury so won't be getting on any roof any time soon. Cheers
Dinged the sheet..not how you do it. Huge issue is trying to lift the sheet a section at a time, you need to pop each lap (the entire length of the run) from the clip and then lift the whole thing at once. Will also tell you that the claw on a hammer is the perfect angle for doing this.
Worst product ever for domestic applications! Especially where draftees who have no rear world glue put 3 degree falls on roofs where the front has a parapet wall! Could of have 10 degrees and still not seen behind parapet, which would of allowed corri!
I"ll be building a shed soon and I do like this sort of roofing. No leaks or screws to come loose. Thanks for showing a way to get it of.
Fantastic, very helpful

Super helpful, thanks mate. I suspect I have a dead rat in the roof and need to get that sucker out asap.
Great job buddy! Well explained. Kindly use protective gear specifically gloves ;)
One day I will get around to redoing this video. I've since discovered a slightly better way.
Thanks for your feedback 😉
@@gunsparky What is your new and improved way? Would love to hear it.

Thanks bos❤
What if you just want to remove the sheeting for a demolition, is there a quicker way
Once you get the first sheet done it's all easy from there
Nice
Stay off the roof mate!
Good advice 👍

I agree. It won't leek, but everything around it will.
Oops
What is the reason for bending the roof downward at the end and dosas it really work?
