    Oh my spirit!!! I’m enchanted with this deck, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for and I need to have it in my life stat! And it’s mass produced?! Yes please! Kelly, you know I find all your reviews to be very thorough, but my dear, you’ve outdone yourself on this one. Thank so much for this! Hugs 🤗

    Hi. I just found your channel as I was processing a dream and an experience of the Hanged One or Hanged Man in the tarot decks. I'm finding how letting go of the ego and loss is harder at this stage of life, late 60's. I see parallels in decks, cards, systems and haven't had the energy to be myself for some years. I think the card here representing the rebirth, as happens when going through the night being buried in the earth, can be created in other ways. I'm also claustrophobic yet feel safe in a full Medicine Lodge with the right conditions and facilitators. This is a wonderful channel. Thank you.

      The Truth in Story . I like the australian touch on all cards (with the dots) and the diversity. Do you see the woman in the water card in the center of the fall?Your opinion: Is this a good deck to work with ancestor? I feel that's a deck to work with the earth energy. Thanks.

      Nat ho Yes I did see her the first time I flipped through though not initially! I DEFINITELY think it’s an amazing deck to work with Ancestor!

    I feel this deck to resonate more for me than the mystical shaman deck 😉 the 4 elements reminds more of Celtic shamanism. There is a book on that type of shamanism

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's definitely a personal preference thing I believe, John Matthews has a book on Celtic Shamanism that I have as well! Personally I'm happy to have them both LOL :D

    The Saami are native, non-Germanic people of Norway, Sweden, and Finland who use shamanism and I think the zodiac represents very well their European native identity as an example for who that card may fit.

    These are awesome! Thanks for your walkthrough, I would have never even known this existed if not for your video. Another to add to the list (…and so it grows…)
    You know, when I saw that “Jester” card I immediately thought more of costumes worn by those celebrating Carnaval in South American cultures. That seems slightly more in keeping with the overall theme of the cards, but I’m not super experienced in the meanings of the different costumes in the procession and what they symbolize.

  • @waldfrauke

    I know the buried experience only done like you would bury someone in sand at the beach: lying down on your back, covering the body with earth, leaving the face free. But you can also just bury your feet or your legs sitting and then closing your eyes, if you're afraid to go further.

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I forgot about beach covering, we definitely have done that for fun at the beach but not with this intention, I like the symbolism of burying the feet!

      You can try to contact the company to see if they have a digital version, US Games does but I'm not sure about this company!

    These cards are so beautiful... I love them. They are becoming part of my top 5 decks quite fast. The first thing I did after the first flip through was sorting them - made me smile that you did that too, although we both sorted a bit differently. Do you have a favorite book about shamanism?!? xx

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Ms. Kerstin, I know, they beg sorting don’t they! Was there a major difference in how you sorted them out? As for a book on Shamanism, no I don’t, the only one I’ve read, which I do like, is Celtic Shamanism, the path of animism or seeing the world shamanicly has been a path that started forever ago with the Way of Wyrd, which I suppose I count as a book on Shamanism, again in the Celtic vein. :)

    Thanks for showing this! Yuri Leitch is really a fantastic artist, I know him from his previous art and i met him in Glastonbury. I hope that a Native American might chip in with their opinion, but the directions did not correspond at all to the Medicine Wheel I was taught in my shamanic trainig. Eg, even though I know some tribes have different meanings for the directions, one of the best known one puts Earth at the West (with Bear there), Air at the North, Fire at the East and Water at the South. I don't know which tradition Earth being North comes from but sadly that all means it would be too confusing for me to use. Sigh!!!

    Hello!! I need help. I buy the shamanic medicine oracle cards without the guidebook. I'd like to know if theres a way to find the book online. Please

    • @TheTruthinStory

      You could contact the publishing company but if it was new without the guidebook then it is a pirated copy :(

    Thanks for the review.) Fell in love with cards at first sight. I purchased them. Their atmosphere is magical.
    The quality of the material from which they are made is frustrating. Cards stick to each other.
    Please recommend who knows how to deal with this drawback.
    Thank You! and a Wonderful New Year!)

    this seams to be a beautiful deck, and fit perfect with the other ones, you are showing in the end. the weaver the shamanic and the Deava of creation ? is that the right name because I could not follow it right away.. the shamanic medicine is on my Wishlist

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the Devas of Creation was one of the ones at the end, the Weavers Oracle, Devas of Creation, and Shaman's Oracle were the three others I showed!

    I’m so unsure if I should get this deck! I absolutely love how it looks and how it’s not focused on one specific culture or practice. But I really don’t want to use something that is cultural appropriation or misappropriation... I think perhaps it’s the name “shamanic” in the name that makes me a bit uncomfortable. I just love the earthiness of this deck mixed with spirituality.

    • @kiikat
      @kiikat 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd say it's cultural appreciation, bot appropriation. Made with love and high respect🙏
