A good start on your Learn2Turn channel Sam. New turners should be able to benefit from your explaining the basics. You have a good idea in keeping these videos short. Too many instructors try to cram too much into a session. Even though I am not a newbie I would like to ride along to see how things go and maybe to offer some support. Take care and happy turning.🙂🙂

I appreciate that Glen. As an experienced woodturner. you have the history of not only starting, as we all do, but sharing how you learned and moved forward as a wood Turner.. thanks for watching. Sam,

I think this will be a very good start to learning what I should be doing instead of just diving into turning. I’m having trouble getting my negative rake scraper sharp. Will you be covering that. I am really looking forward to your continuing teaching. Thank you

Thanks Dave I think more on sharpening different tools would be a very good addition. Getting the negative rake scraper sharp simply means creating a good burr on the top bevel. Sam.

Very good Sam. I am having some trouble with using my bottom feeder bowl gouge getting catches. Would you be willing to demonstrate the proper way to use it?

Thank you very much for the idea. I will keep them in mind and perhaps maybe I should make a list I thought maybe I would do sharpening with scrapers next and then get into gouges anyway, thank you again, Sam.
