I'm not judging you, but maybe you should check some other bassist like Billy Sheehan or Cliff Burton. This isn't bad, but it's not impressive either, let's be real...
most of the good musicians save their best solos for live performances, this is definitely one of the great bass solos though. fucking people gotta talk over it.
Thanks for giving The Warning props, the female band from Mexico!!! That was a very cool solo, lots of soul and flawless technique I play guitar but am going to switch to bass, because of you and Ale!!!
WOW.. cool Bass Solo. I know neither this guy nor his band... but he got rythm in his play, he plays a Spector Bass and he looks cool and confident. What else coud you ask for? Bassists rule ...
Ya know I love fuzz but between the two Moyer is certainly the better bassist don't get me wrong fuzz was intricate and technical but Moyer is overall a master at his craft man can solo his ass off I've been studying his work for years and have based my playing and sound off him and he's one of the most technical bassist I've ever heard and seen play live
@@RiGrêmioNetoo so gene simmons played a solo thats 35 years old. In other words I would make sure my solo would NOT SUCK compared to someone elses solo thats older than FUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rod Esp You poor guy really think that music is something to be competitive about? You surely aren’t a musician what makes the whole discussion with you absolutely pointless. 🤦🏼♂️
Why? A bass solo does not need to be fast to be hard or cool. I can play Anesthesia easily, but playing more rythmic solos like this and Robert trujillos are harder according to me. You need way more sense of rythm for these kinds of solos.
@@one-minutemetal1290 well, it doesn't sound like a solo, but like a bass line, he repeated the same melodies over and over again. A solo, usually, have more notes, more technique and also the melodies must tell a story with a beginning, mid and end... This sounds just like he was playin' a song by himself... Solos can be improvised or written, but this doesn't sound like any option
@@avu4731 Yeah. I know everyone likes that but Im just not impressed. I mean Michael Anthony is one of my favorite bass players but his solos are just trash.
Because they usually don't get any. They also don't need to play very complex basslines like in Funk or Beebop. This adds to them only really being able to do this.
Out of all the bass solos I've heard, this is certainly one of them.
LOL!!!

A bass solo doesn’t have to be crazy tapping and all over the place,it can be simple and still sound good
I wish there's a bass only record of this that can be downloaded.

I guess it's kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good place to stream newly released series online?
@@jamarialfred1360 Idk bro hope you found
Gave me goosebumps when he did this in Cedar Rapids Iowa.
Love this band
This is making my skin crawl
I was at this show!!! It was amazing!!!

That's John Moyer the bassist for metal band Disturbed🤘
@@kevinatkins4090 Thank you, Buddy ... thats good to know! i will look for more music of them
For the 1st 30 seconds its like the crowd are cheering a child at a talent show, all he's doing is playing a short riff over again...
music isnt about all complex shit its about feeling
@@tolgamorkan8187 what did you feel from this exactly?
Duuuude thank you. Lame solo.
Do you guys know what bass is about ? Especially in metal

Why the old comments like the solo but the new comers hate it?
Anyone knows what the songs name ??
It's something John Moyer wrote exclusively for the tour. I don't think he gave it a name, sadly :/
Loud by Agressive Dogs (It has the same riff and is a metal song)
I love Disturbed, but John Taylor of Duran Duran could blow this away. Love our Minneapolis crowd!
👍👍👍🤘👏👏👏👏
Whoever invited those chicks chatting in the background, leave them at home next time
Peepeecacadoodoo
this is a bass solo? lol
Это самое слабое соло которое я видел...
Респект ему, за то что он из одного аккорда может устроить целое шоу и завести толпу.
davie504 i call the police
um... I dno about that...
gene simmons played a better bass solo on ANIMALIZE tour and that was in 1985
So what

not the best of bass solos, I agree with that but still this sounds good and why get mad this much. Niko made a good point.

Why are rock bass players so bad at solos? The only good ones I ever heard were Juan Alderete and Billy Sheehan. The rest have been just garbage.
Listen to orion by metallica please
Or (anesthesia) pulling teeth

There are many good bassists, Les Claypool, Steve Harris, Justin Chancellor but most of them are not exactly impressive
Yawn.
Boring. I could do better than that.
Okay, do one then.
