Forget that Dylan is trans for a second and consider that there are so many women in the world doing incredible things with charities, in medicine, education and in other fields who could and should have been awarded. Instead, a social media influencer is awarded - it says a lot about the world we live in.
I agree with that I think the hate towards them being trans and being called an it is derogatory and wrong but just like people that are mad at a generation for getting trophies for not winning, look at who is giving out the trophies. Be mad at them, be mad at the people who chose it and not the person receiving it. They didn’t do anything wrong by being who they are, it’s the press that is wrong.
@@JellyfishButterGaming true. It also indicates what priorities we value as a society, where women in jobs like education, medicine, charity work etc are still not seen as vital or valued.

wait a minute, it wasn't this year that a boat crashed and a mother saved the life of a 2-year-old and an older child by drifting for several days and breastfeeding the children so that they wouldn't die of hunger and thirst and she herself died of exhaustion a few hours before being rescued, the woman sacrificed her life to save the children but some guy who has been wearing dresses for a year became woman of the year... I guess they think that drifting in the ocean and saving children's lives is an everyday thing for women, and wearing dresses for a guy is an achievement worth rewarding. RIP Mariely Chacón (Venezuelan) this reward should be yours😞
That breaks my heart. I can't even imagine. I have my babies with me right now, one in my bed with us and one asleep in her little cot. God Bless that woman. I hope she's in a better place and she knows her children were saved. @@kennel878Xx
Dylan getting woman of the year is so offensive. That’s basically telling all the successful women in the world that a man is better at being women than they are. Demented.
I’m a 18 year old trans woman, and I’ve had so many woke lgbt people say how offensive you are and how horrible of a person you are, so i stayed clear of your channels. Until the other day I clicked on one of your videos and just started binge watching your channels. And I was shocked to actually being agreeing with basically everything you say like how u identify as a trans woman and that it’s different to a natural born woman, non binary issues ands how it’s basically ruining trans reputation. Coming to your channel has honestly felt so good because everyone Ik is so woke and I’ve never felt the same so I thought I wasn’t trans enough for people because of my views but seeing u talk about things I feel has honestly helped me so much to realise I can have these views and still be part of whatever this community as turned into. I just wanna say thank u Blaire you honestly have become my new favourite channel and person on the internet, lots of love keep being u love ❤️
And we support you and your journey! Thank you for being candid and still having love and respect for biological women and they’re place. Bc just like them, you deserve a special place in the world too! Just bc u aren’t a woman by biological means, or a man by technical means, never makes your place any less valid than a woman or a man. U are unique! U challenge the status quo, and u are different. And that in itself is beautiful🖤💚 no matter what we got between our legs there is always beauty to behold in our hearts and minds and to me that’s the place where beauty is the best💚 having you besides me sharing the title of woman, as a trans woman is an amazing kind of sister ship! And I wish we could share in that bond more, instead of the propaganda trying to pit us against each other when we could be enjoying the bonds we have already, and changing they’re minds as they see us uplift each other, instead of trying to force people to conform to any one way or ideals. But that would be a dream world where we all just got along as humans with love and compassion in our hearts period. 😩
Here is a little life lesson. Those are not your friends, they are trying to control you. Ask yourself why ? Always find out for yourself . make your OWN independent opinions.
Hey girl! I wanna say there are lots of people supporting you out here. I'm so happy that actual trans people are showing their discomfort with these so-called "transgender" clowns. They have made the society hate the entire LGBT, not just Trans people! Also I'm so glad you're a Gen z, it's rare to see people from my own generation stand against wokism. We have to stop them even if they try to attack us or cancel us.
Your community is your group of friends and the people that love and respect you for who you are. Your community are the people that you share common beliefs and experiences with. You just be you, there is no such thing a not being trans enough! I am not right wing, but I love Blair and agree with most of her content, because she is one of the few people with common sense out here on TH-cam.
In regard to the woman vibe, I distinctly remember getting an ice cream cone with my sister when I was around 15, I was wearing a tank top not thinking much of it. There was an old man sitting in his car while we were waiting for the ice cream cones, and he was licking his ice cream cone and full on staring at my boobs. I noticed him and was creeped out but I remember my sister making a comment to me as well, "That old guy is staring at you!" And she was younger but she noticed it too and was attuned to it. That's inherently what being a woman is about being aware of your surroundings and knowing when you're being stared at because we are more vulnerable. So coming into restrooms like "This is my space now" is such a male thing to do.
Blaire: "I am a man" You have a spirit of a woman in how much you care and look out for women and children. You have such humanity and self awareness that the underlying message is that we can love and respect you for who you are as a human.
There’s no such thing as the “spirit of a woman”. Showing basic decency on certain issues pertaining to women and children does not magically make a man a woman. Get a grip
Exactly. Blaire is a thinking, considerate human being regardless of what anatomy she was born with and the fact of transition. It's still confusing to me but I really care more about who someone is within and not what they are externally. We aren't going to put things to rest by perpetuating a rigid standard based on ideology and not what a human being is as a being.
As a bio woman, I claim her as part of our tribe 🎉 She embodies womanhood and respects and appreciates it, as well as being quite intrinsically womanly, and it goes further than femininity. She is truly a wonderful transwoman.

As a young women (teenager) I love Blair sm bc we have similar personalities and humor. And as a teenager I’m so scared of these men coming into my spaces. Not the trans women like Blair I’d feel safe with her but the energy I get from the men that are saying “IDC IM COMING INTO YOUR BATHROOMS .” Makes me uncomfortable.
It's because Blaire conducts herself like a normal human being and a LADY! She's not some creepy weirdo that gives off predatory vibes. I'm conservative, and I admire this lady's genuiness.
As a young adult woman, since I have heard of this, I'm even more aware of my environment than before because I am genuinely terrified of my safety being threatened by these type of crazies! Be safe out there, Ladies!
Blaire is so real. As a women, you do have to be extremely aware of what threat men pose to you. It’s not transphobic to be concerned about these men in the ladies locker rooms, it’s us being aligned with our instincts.
It just really goes to show how much these Neo “trans” women actually 🎉have no idea what it means to live as a real woman. Gender is about how an individual relates to themselves and to others and within society at large. Any person who expects others to see them as a woman while being completely oblivious and disinterested to all the things that make being a woman special and difficult can shove it and shove it hard. I have no tolerance and no respect for any male, not only appropriating and demeaning women’s experiences, but also demeaning the lives and experiences of real trans and gender differentiating people. As Blaire would say… vile.

I don’t mind sharing a stalled bathroom with anyone- I have felt immense pressure as a female hockey player allowing those who had male puberty playing with or against me because of the injury risk. I saw a man, and I’m sorry but yes a MAN, a 6ft something broad shouldered male physique with a boner join a sorority and that I saw as threatening to the girls living there in their formative teen to adult years. And Blaire is correct about the erasure of women when we give men these awards. Dylan is literally worthless, has accomplished nothing at all, makes stupid videos being histrionic, and has NO BUSINESS winning awards. However, Jenner at least was an accomplished businesswoman and Olympian a MALE Olympian so she at the very least actually earned it.
The only people who would be concerned about pedos being punished too harshly is someone who is scared they might have to face that very punishment one day.
Same here. Can’t stand republicans that hop on the democrat hate train. Democrats are half the equation that keeps this country stable, as are republicans. Right? A few years ago, a man dressing up and acting like a stereotypical woman would be deemed sexist. Now it's being praised and even rewarded. This is not what women fought for.
@@Ruby_Villain I've always viewed drag shows as modern day minstrel shows, only instead of mocking black people, they're mocking women. I don't understand how no one else sees that.
It's meant to distract you and keep you from demanding issues most people want like Affordable or Free Housing and so on. Giant businesses create these issues then empower the agitators to act as an everlasting flame. You think the head of that magazine is paying her fair share or the rest? They throw piles of money at this to distract the issue, except with MSNBC, Disney and the rest. This is instead of buying a tonnage of a Conservative book to put it on the New York Times bestseller list. Look at how much Disney is taking a bath and ask why they haven't been near bankruptcy already. Big Daddy Blackrock bails them out for doing their ESG nonsense. Meanwhile they aren't paying their fair share and people doing Ubers, Instacart or Ebay are going to get the IRS sicced on them for making more than $800.
Blaire makes such a good point. As a trans man, I rarely get affected by people calling me a woman or "she" anymore. I've trained my mind to not waste so much energy on that shit. Yes of course it still hurts a little when it happens, but I don't let it ruin my day and it truly doesn't affect my mental stability anymore. That's the one thing Dylan needs to learn and that a lot of trans people need to learn is that you shouldn't be relying on others for validation like that. Not everyone will see you as you want to be seen. You can only control what you do and how you feel. Trust me it's not easy to get out of that mindset, but once you do it gets so much better and so much easier.
Just out of curiosity are these random people that you don’t know or are they people that know you are trans and purposely calling you a “she”. I absolutely agree that trans people shouldn’t be freaking out over pronouns but people really shouldn’t be purposely calling a trans person something that makes them uncomfortable.
Babe, ANYONE who'd address you with female pronouns is seriously either an a*shole, a dumba*s, or BOTH!! 😅 Either way, I PROMISE YOU, it's %100 a reflection of THEIR ignorance, & NOT AT ALL of the way that you look. YOU ARE SOOOOOO F*CKING HANDSOME, & you're PERFECT just the way you are!! ❤ F*CK anybody who tries to make you feel otherwise. 😘
(Sex-independent) "Gender" is an authoritarian RELIGIOUS belief- The idea that a biological woman can be (in whatever mystical, 100% undetactable sense of the word) "REALLY a man", is EXACTLY as much of a faith-based, 100% evidence-free RELIGIOUS belief, as belief that "Jesus died for your sins", or that "Mohammed is the final prophet of Allah". Feeling that you're somehow entitled, that everyone else is supposed to PRETEND to share your 100% evidence-free religious beliefs, and that every waiter, or co-worker, or random interaction is meant to give you a special exception from normal grammar, and use incorrect, opposite-sex pronouns, is an INCREDIBLY narcissistic, authoritarian way to treat others, EVEN IF you don't "DEMAND" that everyone affirm your objectively, probably false beliefs, but mere "EXPECT" that every random interaction affirm your objectively false beliefs... I can sympathize with people who genuinely suffer from dysphoria... but acting in accordance to "gender" ideology- Inviting yourself into wrong-sex bathrooms and changerooms, expecting everyone else to deny biology, and subjugate THEIR OWN beliefs, to play-act like you're the opposite to your actual, real-world, evidence-based sex, sorry, but that sympathy is going to dry up very, very quick... Don't get me wrong- If you want to believe that, despite 100% of the physical, empirical, biological evidence objectively demonstrating that you're a woman, you still want to believe that you're "REALLY a man" (again, I whatever spooky, mystical sense), YOU ARE COMPLETELY FREE TO BELIEVE THAT- Freedom of religion means you're 100% free to believe in ANY evidence-free fiction you want, for ANY reason.... ...but NO EVIDENCE-FREE RELIGIOUS BELIEF entitles you to special privileges that normal people don't have (eg right to invade opposite-sex spaces. The right tell obvious lies, like mis-representing your sex, and not be treated like a liar/moron/crazy person, etc)... ...and NO EVIDENCE-FREE RELIGIOUS BELIEF entitles you to violate the rights of others (like violating other people's right to privacy and dignity, by invading wrong-sex spaces. Or violating other people's freedom of speech, freedom of belief, and freedom FROM religion, by expecting people to play along with the fantasy that you're somehow "a man") Personally, I think that belief in (sex-independent) "gender" is a recipe for being miserable, for dysphoric people; It's not a co-incidence that su1c1de rates RISE TO THEIR MAXIMUM after so-called "transition" (obviously, the only real "'""transition""" is from [you, in good physical health] to [you + needless chemical/surgical mutilation + denying your own sex])... But if YOU choose to adopt this evidence-free, authoritarian ideology based on pointless stereotypes, that is YOUR choice (and there are MANY other options, for managing dysphoria, that you COULD take)... But there is NO IDEOLOGY you can adopt, that entitles you to expect every random person you interact with, to lie, for the benefit of your fantasies... Or which gives you a special pass to invite yourself into opposite-sex bathrooms and changerooms... Despite what "gender" ideology tells you, rejecting your own sex DOES NOT entitle you to control over other people's speech/beliefs, or priority above others, or special privileges, that normal people don't have....
Well said! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences! I tell my 7 year old daughter all the time when someone at school hurts her feelings that not everyone is going to see the world the way you do, and that's ok. Just don't let their opinions affect you at the end of the day. Because it's the people who truly love and know you and respect you who will ALWAYS know how wonderful you are. And anyone who doesn't love and respect you should NOT be allowed space in your life and your mind. Love Blaire's take and common sense. We definitely need more people willing to speak out like her. I wish you the absolute best moving forward! And hope you have a long, happy and fulfilling life. For you and yours!💖💖 The more people speak up and talk about their own experiences. Especially without the victim hood mentality the better the world will continue to be for it. These conversations need to be had. One sided conversations never did anyone any good. I think everyone experiences things throughout life that hurt and or upset them, what's most important is that we understand we can either choose to allow others validation to control us or whether or not we can be confident and happy within our own selves without outside validation. Words hurt sure but they're not the end all say all they're being made to be. We need to bring back mental health awareness and true support. NOT affirmative care. I think people would feel so much better inside. We all need outside perspective sometimes. Sorry for the long comment. Didn't intend for that lol. Genuinely wish you the best and am done now lol. Much love from a random internet stranger who just wants the best for us all in a world that makes sense again. ❤

Blaire is the perfect example of how most people can and will accept genuine trans folk, even though I know biologically speaking, she is a man, it was still completely jarring when she said it because when you look at Blaire, you can clearly see a woman; Not just in appearance but in general mannerisms and, you know, the fact she actually CARES about and respects women. When I look at the likes of Dylan Mulvaney or dear Blossom...doesn't hit the same, and it's nothing to do with looks and everything to do with the attitude they come in with.
Blaire has interest in respecting women’s spaces and Blossom and Dylan want to steamroll and run over biological women and it’s very obvious in their manner.
I felt so sad for Jessica on that debate when she said she doesn't feel like she passes. To me, she has a VERY feminine energy that enables her to pass, in my opinion. She was very soft spoken, respectful, and polite in the way that she spoke. And she was very graceful and delicate in the way that she held herself and moved within the space. Total woman energy in my opinion. If she walked into the woman's restroom, I probably wouldn't even react to her.
I hate when people say "Did you survive COVID" and then complain that they couldn't go to a movie theater. I had to witness older patients being ok in the morning then struggling to breathe and passing in the evening. Meanwhile, families were only able to be with them when they were dying. Some patients also died from failure to thrive because of isolation from their families. It was hard to find a happy medium, but it's much more sad to not see family members.
I missed my niece and nephew who I helped raise through our 6 week lockdown. Little man was 2. I went to drop some food to sister-in-law and he literally scaled a fence because he saw me. I never hugged those kids tighter.

The bathroom stuff was so true. As a trans guy/ female to male I knew I probably shouldn't go into the women's wrest rooms anymore when I went in one once not knowing how I passed/my vibe and a lady looked at me very wearily and confused. Men usually don't care because they don't pay attention to other in the bathroom as much. And the LAST thing I want to do is make women uncomfortable, so I never use the ladies room anymore.
I believe that fully male sexed "transwomen" violating women's personal spaces (Target bathrooms) was the first awareness many of us had of the trans phenomena and something straight people never accepted. Good on you; sadly, this should've never been an issue.
Your awareness is appreciated. I don't have issues when a transwoman uses the same bathroom as me when she is clearly dedicated to her transition. In fact, I go out of my way to say "hi" to let her know she is welcome.
Even putting aside all the trans v biological women aspect of the award -- what has Mulvaney done to merit being the best of *any* group of people out of the entire world this year? She makes TikToks and has a passable singing voice (neither of which are the "best" of their respective media by far). These actions pale in comparison to the *billions* of unsung heroines who've done *much* more to actually impact the world this year...
Society today bases their role models on social media, sports, celebs, etc. These are also individuals that the vast majority of supporters will never meet. I follow many individuals on social media. I have actors/actresses I enjoy watching. Singers that I enjoy their music. My role models are individuals I personally know, very well. Men that have had an impact on my life. Men that I interact with daily, weekly, monthly. Today, it seems like society pushes kids to seek role models away from those they actually know.
Omg Blaire when you said women do a threat analysis every time they enter a room you hit the nail on the head. Thank you so much for your understanding and kindness towards women. That person disgusts me in the TikTok they are literally the kind of person we look out for for our safety and literally have no idea what it’s like to be a woman
That whole part was legit. Most the time I personally don't even do a threat assessment who knows why maybe because I'm desensitised or insane. I don't personally feel threatened, until it all of a sudden that bell 🔔 rings so I know exactly what she's talking about. Which has had me have to get out of situations but has also had me raging out like a manic on the bus at a guy in his 40's who was trying to lure a high school girl, I basically made it clear that he has no business talking to peoples children on the bus let alone asking them to go to his place [with some explicit language] which the children thanked me 4 because I was the only adult who stood up for them over the commotion that was made when her school mates loudly brought it too attention what was happening, not to mention he actually got up and tried to block her from getting off the bus then pushed her a bit at which point I made it clear I was about to fk him up if he doesn't get away from her (which 100% I would have lost cause he was bigger and completely deranged, but I thought if I have to get bashed over this I will) also let him know I was going to be reporting him to the authorities which I most certainly did, I got off the same stop and put him on blast to make sure he didn't keep following them. I honestly couldn't believe no other adult intervened considered she was yelling at this man about how he had followed her home another day. Just strange a lady a little older than me, she gave me "the look" like this is dead wrong I guess I took that as Yea, I know someone has to do something and when I looked at every other adults face it was written all over that they were in discomfort with the situation but I could tell no one was gonna do anything so I was like well I guess it's gonna have to be me but I was disappointed that no one not even the bus driver backed me up.

The Southern states often get that blanket thrown over them, as if the Northern states have no bigots at all. I mean this from the bottom of my heart and also from experience.. the journey of self discovery and self love can go on for as long as you live and breathe, if you want it to. No one is ever to old to change something or to find a deeper peace within. In fact, with age naturally comes an easier time accepting life for what it is, forgiving and feeling comfortable in your own skin. Seriously, just the simple fact that you’re seeking it is a great indicator that you will find it. Like the old saying goes, “seek and ye shall find.” I wish you all the best in your search ❤️
I figure that when I get to be a thousand I'll have a small grasp on what I'm supposed to be and do; by the time I'm a million life will make total sense.
The first thing I think about when I think about Blaire is Blaire. Not whether or not she’s trans. Whether or not she’s a man or woman. What I think about when I think about Blaire is her beautiful heart filled with love and her hysterical humor and her wisdom and experience. Oh and she’s drop-dead gorgeous. It’s who Blaire is as a person that matters, not her trans-ness. Her trans-ness isn’t all she has and all she is, unlike some people. I love her for her.
Same. I feel like that's how I started out. Like judging people by the content of their character right. But then I encountered the woke Mafia and my tolerance level just plummeted. Which is not helpful I know. anywho all this to say that Blaire seriously helped pull me out of that bias I was falling into thankfully. Different and authentic are beautiful ❤️
❤❤ facts I don’t even see Blaire as trans honestly. I am mad jealous over her surgeries she looks more womanly than me 😂 I have respect for blaire because she keeps it real. She’s honest she is caring and she’s just fkn awesome and funny.
What are you talking about HE wears dresses, high heels and make up of course he is woman. Unlike us boring biological females with xx chromosomes and a uterus. /s
I was busy working during the pandemic. Essential workers didn't have the luxury of sitting at home, panicking about things we couldn't control. Meanwhile, everyone in the service industry and the majority of white collar folks apparently blacked out from trauma. Wow. And I agree with you Blaire, the whole pandemic was treated like a taboo subculture in itself and we weren't allowed to talk about it.
Agreed- even though I would consider my job at the time it was essential so my employer had me working and traveling 70 hours a week - no pandemic amnesia here….
I was also an essential worker. Business as usual during the pandemic for the most part, but we ended up being very short staffed (and subsequently overworked) for months at a time whenever we had a round of the virus making its way through all of us. Some people nearly died, a couple actually did. I was lucky enough when I got it that my worst symptoms included being out of breath and needing to rest every time I walked more than ten feet. No trauma-induced amnesia here!
It was no luxury being stuck at home with my anxiety. Trust me. The first day back at work I went home at 5pm and attempted suicide. If I’d been an essential worker and allowed to live a normal life that never would have happened. I’m still recovering.
Blaire, you nailed it during your thoughts about “passing”. It all has to do with energy. Even when you get what you call aggressive, it’s still exactly how my girlfriends and I (women) act when we’re upset or passionate about something. A lot of these new age trans women certain carry such male aggression, energy, and entitlement that of course makes the bells in my head go off. At the end of the day in my opinion it just boils down to entitlement and immaturity. They want all of the benefits with zero effort.
Yup, “trans women” who don’t even try to pass wants the benefits of being a woman (I’m not even sure, attention? access to women’s only area?) without being actually treated as a woman. They were taught to believe women are inferior to men, they don’t want to lose that privilege. This is also why some very much passing trans women have a very hard standard with bio women (I watch a lot of drag competitions, there are very high expectations for AFAB Queen and Kings compared to MTF trans queens and male queens). I’ve heard several trans women explain they realised what being a woman was once they started passing and face misogyny.
literally how come trans woman of the year doesn’t exist??? like… women and trans women would have a great relationship together if there’s trans woman, and woman of the year 👸🏻🏳️⚧️|👸🏻
I don't mean this in a rude way to any trans people at all: if I meet a trans person irl, I don't want to know!! Sometimes you can tell pretty blatantly, sometimes you can maybe kinda tell but it's 50-50, and sometimes you can't tell at all, and that's OK cuz everyone has different bodies and everyone is at different points in their transition--but what I don't want to do is talk about it... I wish for trans people to just exist in society as the gender they want to be, save for a small number of circumstances where we need to acknowledge sex differences do matter, and for no one to make a big deal about it. It doesn't seem like it should be a lot to ask yet here we all are, constantly debating issues that should be relatively easy to resolve and affect a really tiny portion of the population!
I am so sorry you have to endure the backlash of these cr4 Z activists. I myself have been advocating in favor of trans for 25 years but since last year I just can't anymore... especially the attacks on childhood are so evil
WOAH. im a victim of childhood sexual assult (ages 4-10). Anyone who looks at the bill and doesnt say "GOOD", is suspicious. And anyone who looked at it and thought "im next!" Is REALLY scary.
So literally I’m new to the trans discussion and my liberal trans friend hates Blaire cause of the work she does in discussing healthy trans issues like I literally cannot understand why anyone who DOESNT have dysphoria would medically transition and all she said was “you’re watching too much blaire white and your gender gatekeeping” like wtf does that even mean??
It's the ultimate contradiction of trans ideology, gender is not the same as sex (I agree) but apparently you have to change your sexed body to align with your gender identity. More people need to start calling out this nonsense.
@user-jf3lo6ss2i um yeah it is. Gender identity is a new term the young generation came up with. All through history, gender meant your sex. Gender and gender identity are different things.
As someone who was r worded by a male i dated and a male cousin of mine as a woman i am terrified to even walk passed guys and when i was younger a grown man was video taping me i was 14 years old and he grabbed my butt and my chest and i told my mom we confronted him and i called my dad crying because i was so shaken and just petrified he videod my mom as well and we told the store about it my mom worked there at the time and just after those things that happened i have had such a strong fear that I've been trying to work on so hard it's just hard for me to trust guys enough to even walk passed them
@@lornam4596 Yes, I'm aware of how it sounds. Still, it's my own personal experience; I'm not making a comment on women as a whole. 🤷♀ That being said, I edited my comment for better wording :)
I couldn’t believe he was in his early 20’s even before transitioning, he looked mid 30’s. And now you’re right, he does look about 50 with all the surgery.
It’s actually exhausting as a woman to go into every room with a man and assess if they’re going to be a threat or not. No matter the political affiliation, every woman has experienced this.
I just now realized that men don’t do this. It’s always felt so normal to me. I wonder how it feels to be able to be alone with someone of the opposite gender and not feel on edge. Even just being alone with a male teacher or professor, keeping an eye on the door and watching them closely. Walking down the street and putting space between any man thats going to be near me. Must be nice.

Blaire sitting up here saying “I’m a man” in front of the whole world 🥲 so much love and respect for you, girl. Your trash podcast is the realest out there. Keep running that mouth, keep speaking THE truth and keep outing the idiocy. Much love ❤️
I do find it weird how she got woman of the year award. It deffo should be trans. Because being male and female is 2 different things. And are made different. Men are built for different things and so are women. So when women go to work and do every tasks just like men. But instead women have their monthly. Which is a restriction and physical pain. Hence why men are more suited to hands on jobs. And women other jobs/and by choice ofc. But the whole recognition of bio woman and how far they've come..it just doesn't make any sense logically to give an award to someone that has had no life experience of being what a woman is..a Bio woman's hardships shouldn't be disturbed. I think they should have that. And there should be a desperate category for trans. It made no sense at all. And I don't believe it was voted by anyone at all. It's rigged. Award shows are always rigged.
I love the fact that you’re able to call out the LGBTQ community on their bullshit even though you are apart of that community, but it’s refreshing to see a member calling some of those ppl out. I also love how you stand up for biological women!!!
Blaire sees her self as a biological man because she was born a man, but she is a trans women who has worked on her transition for almost a decade. She doesn’t see her self as a biological women because she’s just not that’s why I respect her so much.
When you talked about the assessment of threats, and how women are so aware when walking into a room of men, I actually got tears in my eyes, because it is SO SPOT ON 💔💔💔
I lost so much respect for friends and colleagues that didn’t even question what happened with covid. I started to think most people are just physical and moral cowards
I mostly enjoyed the covid-time, so why would I question it? All the people like you just went on my nerves, bringing the topic to vaccines, the bad government or whatever, when we were talking abt something completely different.
I basically skipped from 16 to 19 because of COVID. There was literally nothing to do at 17 and 18, no experiences to be had. It was TERRIBLE. And I feel like I’ve missed out. Now I’m 20 and still feel like 16/17. And I’m supposed to be an adult when I never really even experienced high school, and everything that comes with that. I was sitting at home depressed. And the frustrating thing, I’ve been depressed for 7 years and in 2019/2020 I was recovering and then we had a 6 month lockdown and I have not recovered from that
I kind of feel that honestly. For at least a year maybe. It felt like that from 20-22 until I finally was able to book a Disney trip and now we are practically doing everything.
I see Blair as a chick, not because I want to be an ally, or to give her love. I just sense her this way, my eyes tell me that, even I am perfectly aware of who Blair is.
Same, I didn’t even know who she was let alone she is a man. I refer to her as her because I see a her. I know she doesn’t like the term passing but she wins for passing extremely well. She’s definitely prettier than me.
Collective trauma, exactly Blair. My husband and i both have felt this for a long time. It makes me very angry when i think about what went on. In the uk we had a 'traffic light system' where you could not travel into or leave some areas. I couldn't visit my friend who lives 15mins away because she was in a red area. I also was pregnant through lockdown. My husband wasn't allowed in to the labour ward until i was just about to give birth. I spent two days trapped in a room crying and panicking while my husband had to wait in the car helpless to do anything.
I think that was one of the worst Covid restrictions. It's inhumane to not let people see their child being born, and for women to go through this experience without their partners.
As a spanish speaker, I would love it for them to stop interfering in our language. Spanish is beautiful, the 'o' is already including everyone, why so pushing to force everything they believe in to others? 🙄
Dylan Mulvaney should have respectfully declined women of the year and said that she would rather it go to a biological woman that would’ve been honorable but guarantee that thought never entered her narcissistic mind for one second
Thank you so much for acknowledging what as women we have to do by analyzing threat in every space. I am 5’ 94lbs and I have had some of the most horrific things happen to my body… it’s a real threat and that’s why this conversation is the most important. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Blaire has been flexing her intellectual capabilities and extending her interpretations for us to peak into her brilliant mind. She’s so smart and its so attractive! Thank you for your work, i can truly call myself a fan now
The worst thing for me is I never had any issues with trans people until Dylan. I guess because he’s not trans but he’s cashing in as if he was and that’s a problem. People seem to forget that he admitted early that he was just messing around until he blew up and suddenly it became real. The fact that he’s all for puberty blockers etc.. for children is more than I can stomach
To me thats not even the problem. Are you really gonna tell me there no other trans woman in the world actually doing important job in the sciences, art, literature, architecture? Is Dylan Mulvaney the best trans has to offer?
@@victorgonzalez2499the magazine that appointed dylan as woman of the year is literally a queer magazine that nobody or their mother has ever heard of. obviously a transwoman is going to be the face of it. idk why everyone is so offended. its not like its an official mainstream magazine like Vogue or something.
@@victorgonzalez2499 okay but the magazine appointed her woty bc realistically dylan (and any other transwomen) will most likely never actually win woman of the year on an official or mainstream level. so its not actually stealing opportunities from biological women.
There was a Polish parliament member, who is trans, and went under the change late in life. Passing was not an option at this stage in life for that person, but I had a chance to meet her, and she "passed" energy and attitude wise.
That’s a real trans person. One of my family members, born female, had to go through years of therapy and social transitioning before he was allowed to actually medically transition as an adult. Because of that, he’s been able to live a great life, get married, have a child through surrogacy, etc. Getting rid of watchful waiting and rushing to medicalization was a huge mistake. It weeded out the unstable individuals with other issues vs. the people with actual gender dysphoria who benefit from transitioning.
I felt so bad for Jessica saying she didn’t pass. I respect her decision, but me and my partner both said she is “passable” - if either of us saw her irl we wouldn’t look twice or question. Just a person doing her thing. Blossom I would 👀. And you’re right, it’s the energy they bring.
everything Dylan does is self serving. Dylan doesn't care about women or trans women. Dylan cares about Dylan. first time i saw on of Dylan's videos, i thought it was an insulting parody of trans women, then i realized it's a wholeheartedly serious mockery of both women and trans women.
Her respect and consideration for biological women's safety is something so underrated. It's nice to know that not all of the trans community hate us and don't care if we or our children feel threatened in private spaces
I'm so glad you mentioned Jessica. I think she passes better than she thinks she does- it's literally, like you said, about energy. She has a gentle, feminine quality to her. The guy in the video, who is the same guy who said he has a gun and will use it if "threatened" for entering women's bathrooms, on the other hand? Aggressive, entitled, dickbag male energy. And you don't even have man hands, Blaire! 😂 You truly don't.
22:57 - 23:06 is why I subbed to you, Blaire. You saying that is what officially gave me ALL the respect for you. Thank you for being so insightful and pensive.
As an older hetero male, i was saddened and a bit surprised to read about woman doing a threat assessment when they enter a room. I was raised in a time (baby boomer) when men were expected to protect women and children. I am still large and as a lifelong weight lifter, believed i would be seen as a protecter. I guess it never occurred to me that I would be seen as a threat.
I am genuinely sad to tell you that I don't think any women, at all with exception to maybe the women of your generation, see men as their protectors now. It's genuine fear now.
I don’t agree with the above statement. That is purely subjective and pretty speculative imo. Speaking for myself, and for many women I have known closely, there is true recovery from SA and other types of trauma/abuse. They and I were able to have thriving relationships with men again and see them as our friends and protectors. Obviously, some wounds are much harder to heal from than others, but to say “most” women are only afraid of masculine men is not an accurate statement in my opinion.
Honestly, words are a bit limited in how we do a threat assessment. Just because your big and very masculine doesn't automatically mean women will see you as a threat. Many big "scary"(think big biker, dude looks like a bouncer or lumberjack etc) guys will not trigger possible threat in women. This is the loss of words part. I don't know if it's body language, pheromones, some instinct , but many women can spot a protector as you put it. *And spot a threat even if not the stereotypical look* It's not just big and imposing that makes a threat. I don't know if you've talked to or know ex convicts but they will talk about how they can spot a pedo after they get out. *They just know. Ya there's often physical markers but they can spot a non typical too because they had to be around and watch enough that it goes beyond looks. They can also see someone that has the "look" but be adamant said person's not etc* It's the best comparison to spotting someone without a clear cut "here's why" reason. I hope this isn't pure gibberish but I just want you to know even tho you will be assessed by women (remember most don't know you) but if your a protector then said women won't see you as a threat but someone to run to. We do make those kind of mental notes too. I hope this helps a bit and trust me, most women are still very truly thankful protector men still exist. Edit- cleaning up some possibly misunderstandings , used * to mark *Ok and with my trying to clean it up I'm leaning towards it being instinct that still remains but that's just my opinion 😅*
I don’t agree with her… personally I don’t think I do a threat assessment any *more* than anyone else (man or woman). And I look at both men and women as possible threats.
Think of it this way... Just because women may do a threat assessment of the room you are in, doesnt mean they think you are a threat. Example: whenever you take a plane ride, you know therea a possibilty it may crash and kill you, but that doesn't mean you think all planes are going to crash. (I hope that was an apt comparison). There have always been men with bad intentions... even in your day. We just have to be constantly aware of who is around us because the potential is there... Its just a reality we live in to protect ourselves.
Blaire is too classy and self respected to take that title away from actual women. Knowing her, she will get on stage and pass the award to someone she believes is truly worthy.
Being a woman, you are always apprehensive of people around you. If you have children with you, that threat analysis and scoping your environment intensifies a billion times. If someone is giving bad vibes around you, you get ready to fight or flight. If the bad vibe person is around you and your children muscles you didn't even know you had will tense. If you don't be a creep, you don't have to worry about the death penalty. If you have a clean conscience, you don't have to worry about it.
@@suther5414 that's why you read body language. If someone is simply walking by, you don't tense up or expect anything bad. If someone is lumbering along, talking with an aggressive tone and giving off generally negative energy, that's when you start planning. There is a difference between anxiety and aggression, which is why it's important to try to read the situations
As trans women we need our own spaces. I’m tired of feeling like I’m overstepping boundaries with biological women. I don’t feel comfortable around biological men but I don’t feel comfortable around biological women. We just need our own spaces
Forget that Dylan is trans for a second and consider that there are so many women in the world doing incredible things with charities, in medicine, education and in other fields who could and should have been awarded. Instead, a social media influencer is awarded - it says a lot about the world we live in.
And the fact it was woman of the year rather than girl. Dylan chooses being an infantalized, stereotypical version of femaleness
I agree
Exactly
I agree with that I think the hate towards them being trans and being called an it is derogatory and wrong but just like people that are mad at a generation for getting trophies for not winning, look at who is giving out the trophies. Be mad at them, be mad at the people who chose it and not the person receiving it. They didn’t do anything wrong by being who they are, it’s the press that is wrong.

New Rule: You're not a woman until fear becomes a low-grade fever that never goes away.
Being a woman means living in fear and being regarded as non human by church and government
i am so sorry this happened to you love you did not deserve this at all.
Blaire: "I am a man"
You have a spirit of a woman in how much you care and look out for women and children. You have such humanity and self awareness that the underlying message is that we can love and respect you for who you are as a human.
There’s no such thing as the “spirit of a woman”. Showing basic decency on certain issues pertaining to women and children does not magically make a man a woman. Get a grip
You mean femininity?

Same here. Can’t stand republicans that hop on the democrat hate train. Democrats are half the equation that keeps this country stable, as are republicans. Modern liberals are weak sheep who have been conned into living the plot of Idiocracy. Staunch republicans are religious schizophrenics with a fear of the unknown. We are all being played, and hard, so finding people like Blair/who like her is actually insanely rare. People are either so far left/right that their heads are up their asses, or they “don’t care about politics” and go with whatever the majority does. Judging by how few people show up for the college talks Dylan gives, it's definitely showing that people are tired.
Or violating other people's freedom of speech, freedom of belief, and freedom FROM religion, by expecting people to play along with the fantasy that you're somehow "a man")
Personally, I think that belief in (sex-independent) "gender" is a recipe for being miserable, for dysphoric people; It's not a co-incidence that su1c1de rates RISE TO THEIR MAXIMUM after so-called "transition" (obviously, the only real "'""transition""" is from [you, in good physical health] to [you + needless chemical/surgical mutilation + denying your own sex])...
For you and yours!💖💖
The more people speak up and talk about their own experiences. ❤
I can definitely relate to you.
So well said!!

"She is a man" is the CRAZY of 2023. How do people not understand this is simply not possible?!
Blaire has interest in respecting women’s spaces and Blossom and Dylan want to steamroll and run over biological women and it’s very obvious in their manner.
This.
💯. ❤
totally agree i looooved her
I thought the same thing! She gave feminine energy to me. Blossom gave pure masculine energy
Same. Very soft feminine energy. Sasquatch could take a pointer or two from her..
I agree but that’s because we got to know her. If I saw her on the street I would just see a man so she’s right she doesn’t pass. Just being honest.
I came for the Women of the Year nonsense and I got a lecture about self love that I actually really needed to hear right now, thank you Blaire :)
You and me both! 💝

We were not allowed to be with my papaw as he was dying because he was positive for COVID. He passed alone and that’s something I’ll always carry with me. He was on a ventilator and wouldn’t have known if we were there or not, but still. It hurts me to think he died alone with nobody but the nurses there. 😢

I am so glad I discovered your channel Blaire. I’m a woman and mother. Admittedly, I have not had one good feeling towards transgender people, until I watched you. When people like Dylan are the media’s “ poster child “ for transgender women, how can you not be disgusted? When our middle school students are over 60’/. transgender and their parents are so proudly showing them off , you have to wonder what the H is going on.

Absolutely! She could help normalize the acceptance of having their own category.
Miss gendering must be the worst. When I walk into 7-11 after doing construction work... I get called homeless.
I AM SO OVER THE TRANS COMMUNITY. Im a Transwoman and OMG I cant. Its just a slap in the face to who we are and what a WOMAN, (BIO) WOMAN is.
Thank you ❤
I also hate that NB people think that they claim to have gender dysphoria and make it like a joke....like fr. What the hell is wrong with people.
As a bio woman, you sound like my type of woman. You don’t live in a delusional, aggressive state towards women. Thank you ❤️
I am so sorry you have to endure the backlash of these cr4 Z activists. I myself have been advocating in favor of trans for 25 years but since last year I just can't anymore... especially the attacks on childhood are so evil

We should have some more gatekeeping. Gatekeeping is a good thing.

@user-jf3lo6ss2i um yeah it is.
Gender identity is a new term the young generation came up with.
All through history, gender meant your sex. Gender and gender identity are different things.

It’s actually exhausting as a woman to go into every room with a man and assess if they’re going to be a threat or not. No matter the political affiliation, every woman has experienced this.
Tell me about it... I am sure I am not alone hesitating sometimes if it's just me and a guy getting into an elevator.
I just now realized that men don’t do this. It’s always felt so normal to me. I wonder how it feels to be able to be alone with someone of the opposite gender and not feel on edge. I agree , they should include a " transwoman of the year " award to the list
I vote for Janae Kroc. That person used to be the World’s Manliest Man.
Or at least LGBTQ person of the year
And transman too to keep it balanced

And the frustrating thing, I’ve been depressed for 7 years and in 2019/2020 I was recovering and then we had a 6 month lockdown and I have not recovered from that
I'm sorry. It probably was worst for ppl your age, as far as missing time.

"I see you as a threat... and I have balls." *stare* You just got to love Blaire. ❤

*And spot a threat even if not the stereotypical look*
It's not just big and imposing that makes a threat.
I don't know if you've talked to or know ex convicts but they will talk about how they can spot a pedo after they get out. *They just know. Ya there's often physical markers but they can spot a non typical too because they had to be around and watch enough that it goes beyond looks. They can also see someone that has the "look" but be adamant said person's not etc*
It's the best comparison to spotting someone without a clear cut "here's why" reason.
Edit- cleaning up some possibly misunderstandings , used * to mark
*Ok and with my trying to clean it up I'm leaning towards it being instinct that still remains but that's just my opinion 😅*
