I'm loving this conversation! At the same time, I really do need to disagree with our emotions create our thoughts. That does happen sometimes but mostly it's we are faced with a situation we have thoughts about it based on our beliefs or previous experiences and those thoughts generate the emotions and those emotions can affect our behavior and what we decide to do. So if I'm thinking about what amount to charge and my belief is that I shouldn't charge that amount because you shouldn't charge for spiritual gifts then that's what's going to generate the challenging emotions and then that in turn can affect our Behavior as to what we do with that. As a therapist I help people with this all the time in therapy. Everyday. I have found that either they have beliefs that don't serve them or they're trying to follow Society or family expectations that don't match how they're designed. When I say designed, I use human design to help them find and live THEIR truth. 💖✨

Great conversation! This is a complex topic. I understand the rationale for charging a lot and charging a little for readings. I’ve been in this spiritual community for a little over a year, and I’ve felt a sense of being somewhat excluded because everything is so expensive. In this economy, especially in the United States, the average working family doesn’t have a treasure trove of money available to pay for all the different spiritual services we need. Some even struggle to pay their rent/mortgage and buy groceries. As much as money may be connected to emotions, there is also a reality about affordability. If the money isn’t there, it isn’t there. So tarot, just like other spiritual services, becomes inaccessible to many people who may really benefit from it. How do we get around that? As I’m starting out, I really don’t want to charge more than $20 per reading because it is otherwise inaccessible to the average working person struggling to pay their bills. However, I also realize the importance of charging what you’re worth. There is no right answer, so I appreciate the ongoing conversation!
