Girl!!! There is so much “packed” in to this video - I had to watch it twice! Agree with other viewers, this is one of the, if not the best, packing video I have seen. Genius idea to use your purse as a packing cube (embarrassed I never thought of that!). And the stuff you kept pulling out of your carry on - why it was like I was watching Mary Poppins. Anyways great video, now I’m going to have to bing watch your other videos. Thanks for sharing - signed your latest subscriber from Arizona.
@@TheoryofSimple How many Great ideas that I didn't even know existed!!! WOW, thanks for making this video!!! I travel alone with a child, and All these ideas and Gadgets would've made my Travels and Life a Lot less miserable if I would've know about them in 2019 when I traveled to Europe Twice!!
@@TheoryofSimple ; I just Subscribed and I have to Say, that for me, this was the Best Travel Pack Video that I've ever watched! You gave me So many Great ideas for when traveling that will make life a breeze!!!
@@12567NoYouCannot I am so happy you got some tips to make your travel life easier! It’s hard traveling with kids especially alone! I will be flying overseas with my grandkids this summer and will do a video on what I pack foe that trip soon! Thank you for watching and commenting! Happy travels!
LOL! Almost everything in that bag would be useless and unnecessary for me, and still you got everything in PLUS the stuff that you actually need! I bow to you! I'm giggling, but it's mostly with respect and wonder.
Lol! You may rise!🤣😂 I don’t always packed like this, but it’s just to show you that depending on how you like to travel in what you’d like to bring with you what is your priority? You can pack with many things! Truly appreciate your feedback and giving me a great laugh today🙏💕😊
Wow, I’m blown away. You are so creative and good at thinking outside of the box! I learned so much from this video. I personally dread packing and always end up sleeping only 3 hours in the morning of the flight with so much stuff I ended up not using during the trip. So I finally decided to create a system, so I took good notes : ) And these are the takeaways that I decided to apply for my future packing: In essence, * Multi-purpose is the key (use great ideas shared in this video). * Clothes: Limit to *basically* 2 complementary colors so that almost any piece can go together with another one. Also, when buying clothes, choose ones that can be used for several different purposes (ex: lounging, gym, hiking, sightseeing) * Traveling is not the same in the 2020s. Be prepared for uncertain, unpredictable situations (ex: Covid; geopolitical situations, airline luggage loss; flight cancelations; weather; less than ideal accommodations, etc.) Buy some small gadgets to make life safer and easier. Thank you for taking the time and effort to share your knowledge and enlighten us!
Wow! Wow! Wow! You really did take notes! I’m impressed! I’m so happy you got some good hacks for your next travel adventure! Thank you so much for watching and commenting and I look forward to your feedback on my other videos! 🥰
This is one of the best packing videos I’ve EVER seen and I’ve seen a lot. You’ve managed to find a nice balance between the people who bring two pairs of underwear and a life straw and the people who bring 25 outfits and ten pounds of makeup. Thanks for the tips!!💯💯💯
Thank you, Holly! Well they say there’s a fine line between genius and crazy! I truly appreciate you watching and commenting on the video and I look forward to your feedback on my other videos!
This is the very best video I have ever seen for packing 7 days in an underseater. Only improvement would be sharing names of items you use for packing.
Some of the items are several years old so not sure they are still available. I have added Amazon links in the video description for many of the items! Thanks for the suggestions!
I second the need for links for the items you use. I’ve looked on Amazon for those zip lock thingies but without the specifics like thickness of the material, it’s a no go. Help?!
@@suzannemullins1114 here is the link for the little bags. Pill Pouch Bags Zippered Pill... www.amazon.com/dp/B09BZ4FWHJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Some of the items I use are older and bought before Amazon. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Holy cow, what a video!! Your presentation was unbelievable, it must have taken you hours to produce. I am a tremendous fan of multiple use ideas & you are definitely the queen of this. Bravo! Well done 👍 thanks.
@@chrisjadwin497 thank you’! thank you! It does take some time to make these videos, But I love it! I so appreciate you watching and commenting on this video.!
First of all, I am only about 10 minutes into this video and I have to say it's hands down the best travel related video I have ever seen. I have already taken numerous screenshots and have taken notes. The tips provided are also incredibly helpful. Like the small purse/crossbody bags as packing cubes. I have always used packing cubes for clothing but I've never thought of putting anything in the small purses, bags & totes I bring. I usually just put them into my suitcase. Love, love, love these tips.
Thank you so much! I am so happy you are getting some good hacks from this video! Everything I bring has to be essential or multifunctional. Thank you so much for watching and commenting and I hope you enjoy your next travel adventure!
The hat clip. YES! Your water bottle and sling look like just the thing for days at Disney, and the 3rd thing I must have is the folding/collapsing fan. A great presentation! I'll be 70 very soon, and I have arthritis in my neck, shoulders, and thumbs. Even so, the telescoping trolley handle and the luggage wheels take up space I'm not ready to give up. Depending on the trip, I carry a combination of 2 or 3 packs. My packs have waist/hip belts so my shoulders never hurt. Most recently I had to run from the airport to my train. I strapped my carry-on to my back, and I put my arms through the straps of my underseat bag so it was secured to my chest. Running was a breeze compared to trying to manipulate a rolling bag. And last, my quality packs are lighter than my quality luggage. Lighter weight, more room. Win win.
Hi Dannie! Wow! You are inspirational! Happy you found some good items for your next travels! Thank you so much for watching and commenting and happy travels!
Great Video! When traveling I wear a ShouldIt infinity scarf with a zippered pocket that holds my glasses, packet of medication, ear buds & lip gloss but will hold even more within easy reach. I have a zippered pillow case that I added a handle which folds up to carry in my coat pocket so when I am seated on the plane I can stash my coat, hat & anything else in the zippered pillow case so I don’t lose anything and it doubles as a pillow.
Hi Maureen! Thanks for the hacks! I will have to check out the scarf with the pockets! I have one but they don’t zip close. The pillowcases a great idea because it also acts a laundry bag when you get to your destination! Thank you so much for sharing your hacks with us and happy travels!
wow Maureen, I love your pillowcase idea. The best thing is it keeps your coat hat and other items from falling on the floor and getting icky airplane germs and dirt on them. It's also handy in case you have to carry some of your clothing items that don't fit in your suitcase it's like you have a second carry-on.
I bought a four wheeled underseater bag. I had used a Samsonite two wheeled underseater bag for years. The four wheeled bags are considerably smaller than the two wheeled version. I returned the 4 wheeled version. The Samsonite has served me well on trips to 9 countries and innumerable trips in the USA! I found the two wheeled version much easier to navigate airport escalators. Safe journey!
I like the four-wheel-version because they are caster wheels and spin and multiple directions and it’s a lot easier when I’m having to navigate tight spaces at the airport and down the jet way and isles. Enjoy your journeys!
I agree. The two wheeled bags are roomier and the wheels are easy to keep from rolling downhill. Escalators are easier too. I ditched the 4 wheeled bag and never looked back.
You are a woman after mine own heart. I've always packed this way too! My friends always refer to me as the lady that has EVERYTHING! This video made me feel not so crazy anymore. Preparedness is key!
Yes! Some of my friends and family have laughed at me But when they needed something and I had it, I told them you would not have had it if I didn’t pack and all this stuff! I think this stems from being stuck on a plane for six hours on a runway during a snowstorm and I was without a couple of things and that taught me a lesson! Thank you so much for watching and commenting and happy travels!
Chip clips? I cringe every time I hear you call those clothes pins chip clips. They can be used for many things. I’m surprised you don’t have those plastic clothes pins on a loop. You put the loop around, say, a bar/closet rod and the slip the clip through the loop. 24 for $7 on Amazon. Your door security lock appears to be heavy and a bit complicated - especially if you need to get out in a hurry. A rubber door stop from the dollar store will also prevent someone from entering. Stories of people stuck on airplanes for hours and overflowing toilets terrify me. As do smelly toilets in some places. I always take two Travel Johns. They are unisex plastic bags with hard plastic tops that fit the female anatomy and some gel at the bottom. They will hold at least 2-3 pees if you are in a car, tent, or not close to a bathroom. Cost used to be about $1.50 each when buying an 18-pack from the Pilot Store. (They use them as well!). I imagine the cost has gone up and I think they are even more expensive from Amazon or Walmart. I was once stuck in a major traffic jam and was desperate. Nobody was moving so I opened driver and rear doors and relieved myself. Having a tarp, shower curtain, or piece of fabric and some magnets will provide coverage for the exposed side, if necessary. Love your videos. I also car and tent camp.
After 2 decades of carry on only I have my packing down pat into a similar size bag to you. The ‘Coach’ over the shoulder bag I use for things I need through security and on the plane - passport, TSA bag, glasses, phone, makeup, iPad, hairbrush and fresh undies. Love the foldable glasses you have. A spare pair is essential if there is a mishap with my main pair. Many of us will glean some valuable ideas from you. 👏
Thank you, Anne! Great coming from another seasoned traveler! I am always editing and refining depending on my trip itinerary, connections, layovers and length of stay. Thank you for watching and commenting and happy travels!
This is a very informative video, thank you. I don’t think I have ever seen another travel essentials video that included fairy lights, a hot water heater, and a portable bidet….😏

Great ideas! My favorite go to pants are actually black scrub pants. They are more fitted & look nice with lots of pockets. They dry quickly, pack small, are wrinkle resistant & don’t stain easily!
@@TheoryofSimple after years in the medical field I have tried all brands. I prefer Sketchers & I just recently bought Walmart scrub pants. I love them! They’re only $20 & they’re the jogger style. The Sketchers are straight leg style. I can wear these pants repeatedly without them “looking” like I’ve worn them repeatedly. Easy to spot clean & I haven’t had a stain yet! I've watched a ton of packing videos. Rarely are there tips or products that I haven't heard before. Your tip for washing in the wet bag is awesome. I already own several of them. I also own one of those reusable sandwich bags that I can use for a heat or ice pack.
Thank you! Everything in my pack has to do double duty or it’s not worth packing. I’m so happy you found some useful information in this video! Thank you again for watching and commenting and happy travels!
Thank you so much for this comment it really made my day! I never call myself a minimalist because I’m always caring so many things but I like to say that I carry a lot of things minimally so that I can carry a lot of things! I really appreciate you watching and commenting on the video!
A few things I bring that are suprisingly handy that nobody talks about for traveling (besides you) is the stasher bag (snacks and water preofing your phone for the beach) Hero clip (also small and incredibly multi use, worth the price, binder clips to use as laundry clips, holding a snack bag shut, or blinds or a wardrobe malfunction. also to use as a towel clip for beach chairs (I use the med/big sized ones), TSA approved travel padlock (wire one) a lot of uses for that as well. Niteize mini s biners with locks (can use these for pool lockers to adhere the key to your swim suit and not have to worry about it. Also useful for "locking" the zippers of your small purse while out on the town to make it more difficult for would-be pickpocketers so they pick a different target. I use a be quick from jujube as a packing cube for my underthings that comes with a strap so when I get to my destination I can use it as a small crossbody also use a jujube be light as a larger packing cube that is my larger tote or beach bag at my destination. I use a microfiber towel for my beach towel and a cotton Turkish shower towel which is thin enough to double as a beach cover/sarong I bring 1 ea. So I don't get sandy if I use the other one outdoors on the sand. Extra wide headband for its regular purpose or a eye mask to keep light out if I want to take a nap. Christmas decoration suction cup to hang my soap pouch on the side of the shower out of the water to dry. A few ultra light dry bags instead of packing cubes I use like stuff sacks for a water destination. I am obsessed with the matador soap pouches. Toothpaste tabs and powdered dry shampoo are the bomb. And there's more but I hope this helped somebody!
Thank you!! We do think so much alike and I love all of these hacks! I do use some of these hacks as well and pack them in my larger luggage since I can’t get everything into that little luggage that goes under my seat. Thank you so much for posting this and I hope the viewers find some more great travel hacks from this! Thank you so much for watching and commenting and providing some great hacks! Happy travels!!
great tips!!! I do some of these too: wide headband as eye mask, sarong as scarf/beach wrap/skirt (though I'm considering upgrading to a turkish towel), dry shampoo, small light dry bags or mesh lingerie wash bags as compress-able packing cubes, screw-locking wire loop or s-biners to use as keychain or secure luggage/zippers, binder clips or the same plastic-coated clips she uses. Thanks for the new ideas too (especially the small suction cup for soap! :)

Hi Melissa! Haha! Yeah, I guess I am a bit of a Girl Scout! I should do a video on my personal bag that I carry every day because I think some people would be surprised at what I carry around all the time! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Good solid and helpful video, so thanks. I call the bag that gets checked in the 'decoy bag'. My cabin bag has enough of everything that it doesn't matter if my decoy never turns up. I like the chip clips and cup holders combo. I use plastic curtain rings, for washing and supplementing hangers in the closet. And I wash my clothes in the shower.
Thank you, Trish! You and I are soul sisters! Once in Dubai, my luggage was lost for four days. I would just take a shower with my clothes on and wash them. The good news is my carry-on bag has enough to get me through the whole trip except that my son was getting engaged and I had to go buy something new for the engagement party. I’m glad you got a lot of good hacks out of the video and I want to thank you for watching commenting and wish you happy travels!
Thank you! I have been delayed rerouted. Spend time does overnight places one flights were canceled and these little items. Make life a little bit easier when it’s already stressful enough.😊💕
I did have the SCOTTeVEST as well as this fast. I show in the video but I have actually turned to a different vest. That is a little more comfortable because it has a stretch but it does have fewer pockets.. the pockets, however are nice and deep so if you had to quickly take things out of a bag of stuff them in a pocket, it would be easy. This vest is significantly cheaper than SCOTTeVEST and I can probably get four or more for the same price and they have them in different colors.amzn.to/3r9muVI

I have used hair clips as pins for clothes and shoes! We really are spirit animals! Good to e-meet you!! You have given me a great idea for a video!!! Thanks for watching and the ideas!!! 🥰
I was a flight attendant for 37 years and flying international. I have traveled on vacation and learned how to travel with less to make it simple. I have watched several travel hacks and quite amused with all the stuff they carry. It’s over kill what they pack. Simplify…simplify.
Yeah, I think that everyone’s idea of minimalist or simple is different and their needs on traveling are different as well. But I do have a question for you because you’re a flight attendant I was standing in an airport the other day, and every single flight attendant that I watched walk by had three bags rather than just two bags is there a reason that they carry three and is there something extra that you carry that would Require you to have a third bag?
I have looked at so many minimalistic packing videos and by far this is the BEST video I’ve ever seen. You are so clever! Thank you so much for posting this! 😊❤

Thank you! I got a lot of my ideas while backpacking with the USFS a few years back. Take only what you need and live out of a backpack makes for a minimalist attitude but merged with a twist for travel! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
I love your style and your simple ideas. I just returned from 3 weeks in Asia. I used a north face travel backpack and a Delsey carryon roller board. The backpack rides on the Delsey. So, the backpack has those essentials that I NEED, and the Delsey can be checked or not depending on airline policies. The Delsey also expands for souvenirs. And that way the backpack stays light. Delsey in the overhead, backpack under the seat. I also use a very pretty pocket shopping bag as a “purse.” But while flying, my passport, currency, and phone are in one of those rfid neck slings. So the airlines don’t count that as a personal item. I highly recommend the bar shampoo and conditioner. They fit in those tiny zip locks. Solid deodorant, solid sunscreen, and yes to those round makeup removers!!!! Also, laundry sheets cut down on liquids and work very well. For the same reason as you (don’t like all that weight on my back), I don’t think I can ever just manage with a backpack. But that north face has a built in wet pocket and it is just organized so well. And yessss to the small dry bag. It was a godsend on this last trip. Looking into that waterproof daypack that you mentioned. Mine is not waterproof. My very cute rain jacket like yours totally wetted out on another trip, so it has been cut in favor of an ugly clear emergency vinyl rain coat😜
I just came back from visiting my son and daughter-in-law and their doggie. I only took one pair of reading glasses. Well. Doggie got them off the table and ba bye reading glasses. Lesson learned. Need more than one pair for sure.

WOW!!! This is the second video I've seen from you and you have such amazing ideas. I HAVE to get those little bitty zip bags. I use sandwich bags but they are sometimes too big but those little bags are perfect for so many things. I also love the collapsible water bottle and holder. I have so many things I can get rid of and switch out for much more compact use. You are really helping me out. I've been traveling with too much extra stuff for most of my life and have had to learn how to downsize, due to my circumstances, but it's also freedom to not have to have so much stuff. Thank you! Oh, the only thing I do differently is the small toothpaste. I don't use flouride toothpaste so when my regular tube is getting low I put that in as my travel size toothpaste.
Thank you, Joy! So happy you are finding this contact useful! Hope you got some great hats for your next travel adventure. I wanna thank you for watching and commenting and I look forward to your feedback on my other videos!

@@TheoryofSimple I totally get it. We go to Mexico every year and literally every time someone has needed a safety pin. Everyone knows just to come find me now. It was cool to see how you bring thread for laces or otherwise. I found some thin aluminum cards to wrap thin Kevlar cord and paracord, and even some gaffers tape to cover bright clock displays and such at night. It's always fun to refine our kits. Instead of little clear pouches I tend to use Dyneema micro pouches from etsy which are semi transparent.
@@TheoryofSimple They have many colors however I've preferred the translucent over white. The micro pouches are perfect for things just over the size of a credit card. However they expend out to about .5 inches. Perfect for teas, medicines etc.
Phenomenal tips! That suitcase though would not fit under the last three different airline seats I've flown this year. We don't travel to destinations that I would require some of your basics, I.e. water heater. Good ideas that have gotten me thinking.
Yeah I think some of the airline seats are getting smaller and narrower so these older bags may not fit as well especially if you over pack them. That is why I carry that second bag in there so that I can take out some personal items that will fit under my seat and then ship that bag in cargo. Also the contents of that bag change depending on my destinations and how many connections I’m doing and the time of the year so it’s not a pat set of things that I carry every single time. Every trip is a new challenge so I’m always trying to figure out what do I actually need and what would be something that would help make my trip more comfortable if they lost my luggage. Thank you so much for watching and commenting and I hope you have some good hacks from this video for your next trip!
This is awesome! I loved traveling light too, I loved how you were able to fit all those on the bag. I carry with me my bento bag from Nomad Lane, and had always been so fond of how functional and convenient it is with packing the most important things that I need with my trips. Would recommend that for you too!
Thank you, Cramer! I’m so happy you enjoyed it and could appreciate how much work it took to put a video like this together! I hope you got something useful out of it and I want to thank you for watching and commenting as well!
I watch LOTS of packing videos. Yours is super helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to do it & giving such smart ideas and tips. I had lots of "why didn't I think of that?" moments while watching. Love that! You've made travel even better for me and for that you have a new subscriber! :) Loved the multi-use of cute clothes you put together. I'm really interested in that white shirt you showed. Do you remember the brand or what material it is? Looks lightweight, comfy & that it would still look good wrinkled! I'd love to add it to my capsule. Thanks again for the video
Hi! Welcome to Theory of Simple! Thank you so much for your comments and accolades! I am always refining my packing and am so happy that you found some useful tips!! The white shirt I bought last year at TJMaxx. I am away right now but will check when I get back on the label. Thank you again for watching and commenting and again, Welcome!!
Thank you, Pam! I am making a new video and I thought, “People are going to think I am either crazy or genius!” I was siding toward crazy but I am happy you think genius! You just made my day! Thank you so much for watching and your feedback! 🙂

Great tips. You thought outside the box. Using the wristlet and purse is double the use. And thinking small, foldable, and flat items. I learned a lot!

Absolutely an amazing video. Love the idea of using the crossbody bag as a toiletry bag. I love the multi-purpose uses for the items you packed. You were able to have so many gadgets. Loved this video. Thanks so much for the information. I’ve watched the video several times! 🙂
Thank you! I try to make sure everything I pack has dual or triple purpose! If you change the way you look at things the things you look at change! I thought why pack a purse empty when I can pack it full of stuff and why pack In packing cubes when I can use the purse as a packing cube! Thank you so much for watching and commenting and I hope you got something useful out of it. Happy travels!
Oh my gosh! Thank you, Rusty Red! You don’t know how much it makes me smile to know that you feel this way and that you got some great hacks from this video! I look forward to your feedback on other packing videos that I have! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!!
GREAT TIPS! I had to watch it 3 times and narrow my shopping list down. I am glad to see someone else bring snacks and soups when they travel. What is the size of the travel mug you have please?
Wow! So many surprises I was not expecting - you are awesome! Your outfits are all so cute, you look fabulous. Such a good idea doubling the handbag as a packing cube! I have watched just about every packing video on TH-cam lol - and this is one of my absolute faves! Thank you TH-cam algorithm lol

Absolutely amazing!! I want to be able to travel carry-on only for a trip to Europe. But it makes me really nervous but this is a challenge and I’ve got some time.
I have those hangers, totally going to ikea for cup holders.great idea. More great ideas- use my baggalini for a toiletry bag. I must admit, i started laughing thinking she totally has a clown car bag, based on the amount of stuff thst keeps coming out of it 🤣
Lol! How funny! I hope you enjoy the video, and thank you so much for stopping by my channel and commenting! I have to think my brother for promoting me on his channel! 😊
This was a really great and detailed video! I learned something new that I will remember on my next travel adventure! Another suggestion for paints. I love the starfish pants/shorts from Lands End! They are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down. Great for travel!
Thank you! I am also always looking for something new to add to my list of must haves! will look for those pants!! Thank you for watching and commenting!

New to your channel…Best carry on travel video’s I have seen so far .. Only thing missing is where you got some of the item…like the lock and the very last item..
The hotel door lock came from Amazon and the Chico water bottle bag I’ve had for a long time so I’m not sure if they make that any longer but you could check on Amazon under Chico water bottle bag. Thank you so much for watching the video and commenting. I hope you got some great hacks out of it!

My thoughts too! I'd never take all those gadgets no matter how big my bag, but it was fun to watch!
This woman 👏has 👏thought of 👏*everything* !! Thank you for sharing!
Thank You! I’m so happy you found this video useful! 😊
Wow, I’m blown away. You are so creative and good at thinking outside of the box! I learned so much from this video. I personally dread packing and always end up sleeping only 3 hours in the morning of the flight with so much stuff I ended up not using during the trip. So I finally decided to create a system, so I took good notes : ) And these are the takeaways that I decided to apply for my future packing: In essence,
* Multi-purpose is the key (use great ideas shared in this video).
* Clothes: Limit to *basically* 2 complementary colors so that almost any piece can go together with another one. Also, when buying clothes, choose ones that can be used for several different purposes (ex: lounging, gym, hiking, sightseeing)
* Traveling is not the same in the 2020s.

Pill Pouch Bags Zippered Pill... www.amazon.com/dp/B09BZ4FWHJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Some of the items I use are older and bought before Amazon. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Holy cow, what a video!! Your presentation was unbelievable, it must have taken you hours to produce. I am a tremendous fan of multiple use ideas & you are definitely the queen of this. Bravo! Well done 👍 thanks.

Great video! I love how you wear most of your clothes on the plane.
@@suzanneanderson582 thank you! Is about the only way to travel with all the restrictions😉
I especially like the trick about removing all the extra layers and "stuff" it into a scarf...
Thank you so much! It’s just a great way to be able to have a pillow or back support and not have to carry something extra with you🙏😊❤️
You are a woman after mine own heart.
A rubber door stop from the dollar store will also prevent
someone from entering.

Great ideas! My favorite go to pants are actually black scrub pants. They are more fitted & look nice with lots of pockets. They dry quickly, pack small, are wrinkle resistant & don’t stain easily!
Hi there! I have never seen scrub pants like that so I’ll have to look for them! Can you get them on Amazon?
@@TheoryofSimple after years in the medical field I have tried all brands. I prefer Sketchers & I just recently bought Walmart scrub pants. I love them! They’re only $20 & they’re the jogger style. The Sketchers are straight leg style. I can wear these pants repeatedly without them “looking” like I’ve worn them repeatedly. Easy to spot clean & I haven’t had a stain yet! A few things I bring that are suprisingly handy that nobody talks about for traveling (besides you) is the stasher bag (snacks and water preofing your phone for the beach)
Hero clip (also small and incredibly multi use, worth the price, binder clips to use as laundry clips, holding a snack bag shut, or blinds or a wardrobe malfunction. also to use as a towel clip for beach chairs (I use the med/big sized ones), TSA approved travel padlock (wire one) a lot of uses for that as well.
You are hilarious. This video was amazing. I love it. Thank you. Thinking about creature comforts to make the trip easier. So important
Thank you! I have been delayed rerouted. Spend time does overnight places one flights were canceled and these little items. Make life a little bit easier when it’s already stressful enough.😊💕
Love the portable bidet!
Thanks, Bernadine! It comes in handy!
Ok, only one more comment, I also love the Scottevest clothes. You can practically carry another suitcase worth of stuff on your body.
You are my spirit animal ! My husband will have to see this video. I'm down to an underseat TravelPro (gray) Use my bag/pouches as cubes. Size 5.5 shoe, but down to sandals (sometimes put a sparkly clip or pearl clip on my sandals) I'm down to a capsule wardrobe, mostly black/gray with pops of color in my accessories BECAUSE YOU CAN ALWAYS WEAR A SMILE. And I pile on the clothes also. Just acquired a denim jacket that has inside pockets & a travel scarf with hidden pockets. So glad I found you !
Pockets!!! YES! Love pockets! I have a silk scarf that I can wear as a scarf/shrug and it has pockets!! My rule is that all my dress and pants need pockets!
Thank you so much and you’re so welcome! Truly appreciate your feedback💕😊
OMG! You're awesome! I love all your "pouches" that can be used as purses. Dual purpose is the way to go.
Thank you so much! 🥰 I am a bit if a “bag” lady😉
I love all your videos!! I’m a gadget gal but I find I waste a lot of money on unnecessary gadgets. Thank you for these videos. I can tell you’ve take a lot of critical thinking into planning. Keep these vids coming!!
I’m so happy you’re finding some great ideas and useful packs for my videos! I do you spend a lot of time researching and figure out what works best for me and hopefully it’ll help someone else! I will keep the videos coming! Thank you so much for your feedback!🙏❤️
This is the best travel video on TH-cam. Good info.
Thank you so much! 🥰
Oh my gosh!!! I never leave comments, but this is by far the most amazing packing video I have ever seen! You are brilliant!
Lisa, ❤️Thank you so very much! I am so happy you found this video useful!! Thank you for watching and commenting and happy travels!
This is such a helpful video. I am watching it for the second time. You have really terrific and practical ideas. Thanks so much!
You are so welcome and thank you for giving me your feedback😊💕
You could do follow up videos to this just braking down each category/purse packing cube and still gave us mesmerized! Thank you!
Thank you, Elizabeth! I have several videos in my channel breaking down what is in them.😊❤️
This is the best packing video ever thank you
Thank you so much! I am so happy you got some great hacks from this video! 😊💕
So very smart! My favorite hacks were the floss sections (ingenious!!) and using bags/purses as packing cubes. Saved for future travel reference.
Thank you, Gypsy Belle! I am so happy you got some good hacks from this video! Thank you for watching and commenting and happy travels!
I'm a camper and an outdoor educator and your ideas for travel are awesome!
We are cut from the same cloth! Love how you pack as well! Thank you for sharing your piercing style!🙏😊❤️
I just came back from visiting my son and daughter-in-law and their doggie. I only took one pair of reading glasses. Well. Doggie got them off the table and ba bye reading glasses. Lesson learned. Need more than one pair for sure.
Yes! I learned that lesson the hard way too! My grandson got a hold of them and broke them! 🤓
😮 this is absolutely beautiful, you are an artist!!! I cannot believe how much you have packed and how useful everything that you pack is!!! Thank you for all of these great ideas 😊
Thank you so much! I am so happy to share these ideas! Decades of traveling have taught me many lessons!😊
Holy moly girl. Now that's extreme. Lol. I love it. I'm kinda like that but not so much. Lol. My vehicle has everything I might need.
You are the queen of packing for sure. Lol.
You keep it up.
Thank you, Tawny! 😊🙏 i have flown enough and had incidents happen where having a few things prepared is like having car insurance. You don’t want it but happy to have it when you need it😃
You've done a fantastic job including so much in your bags! Very impressive!
Thank you! I try to have dual purpose with many things. It helps to organize and allows me to have a variety when I travel light! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Omg I'm having info overload! Great tips and ideas that I will need to watch this video a few more times and take notes! Thank you so much!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much! So happy you found some great hacks video for your next travel adventure! 😊🙏❤️
These were great tips! As a solo female traveler, that door lock will really make me feel safer
Thank you, Lauren! There are several things I carry and this one helps me sleep better! Thank you for watching and commenting and happy travels!
Awesome! I traveled a lot too but I never thought those hacks you shared, thank you!❤️
Thank you and I’m so glad that you got some great hacks from this video! That means a lot coming from another seasoned traveler💕😊
This is the most genius packing video ever!!! I've learned so much! I immediately subscribed 😊❤
Thank you so much , Elizabeth❤️😊 I’m so happy you found that video, and it brought you to my channel! We have a great group here of people who give us a lot of feedback and many great ideas so we’re looking forward to getting yours as well❤️🙏
New subscriber. Extremely well thought out, organized and presented. I picked up multiple helpful packing tips. Thank you for your effort and decorum. The gracious sophistication of your channel is a welcome viewing experience.
Thank you so much and your compliment just made my day! Welcome to Theory of Simple! Can you find a lot of great hacks here not only for travel, but trying to get you prepared for almost everything! I’m looking forward to your feedback on my other videos😊🩷🙏
No, I didn't like the video, I LOVE IT!!! You taught me so much. Now I have to dig out my bags and get busy, after I find online some of those darling tools you have. You are awesome!!
Hi Brenda, thank you so much for loving this video! There are links in the video description to many of the items that I have in the video. I hope you’re able to find them and they come in really handy for you for this next trip! Thank you so much for watching and commenting on this video and you’re awesome too!!
WOW! I haven't even finished watching yet and you have an entire store in that bag! I have to finish watching this later today when I have more time!
Lol! It is packed with stuff! (Pun intended!) Have fun watching the rest of the video! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Beautifully done. I love all the bags that you use to pack things in and can use the bags later. I also love all the extra little bags you travel with so you are never without a bag or in case one breaks theres a back up bag. I would love all the little travel gadgets you have, always a just in case you need it. I would need just a few more clothing items and something to sleep in.
Thank you, Deidre! I’m definitely a gadget person! This is just my carry-on bag but I check a bag with more clothing and shoes and gadgets! This bag is just in case they lose my luggage I have something just to get me through until they find my bag. I appreciate you watching and commenting and I hope you find more gadgets for your next travel adventure!
Right!? I was just casually watching, as one does.., then literally paused at the 13th minute mark and exclaimed! I need a notebook!!
SOOO. MANY. GOOD. TIPS!
Can't wait for the rest😁
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much, Sylvie! I am so happy you’re getting some good chips from these videos! Let me know which one was your favorite!
Thank you so much. I’m glad you found some great new travel items for your next travel adventure.😊🙏❤️
All I can say is WOW! Impressive!
Thank you, Joy! So happy you are finding this contact useful! Hope you got some great hats for your next travel adventure. I wanna thank you for watching and commenting and I look forward to your feedback on my other videos!
I just found your channel and I'm obsessed!!! You're actually making me look forward to packing for my next trip. Would love to see a video on travel safety, too (especially for solo women).
Thank you so very much 🙏😊 it just so happens I made a safety gear video a few months ago! Here it is! th-cam.com/video/XV6NCX4CR8k/w-d-xo.html
Is there a link to any of these clever items used?
You are amazing, I don’t know how you find all those cool things! Thanks so much!❤️
Thank you so much, Mary Ann! 🙏😊❤️
I am a huge fan of EDC and minimal packing and have seen loads of videos for ideas on how to streamline my travel, and this is one of the most interesting videos I've seen! You have really dialed in your ability to travel light! Great video!
Hi Brandon, I must confess, I am a bit of a girl scout…prepper wanna be! I have lived and traveled all over the world and found that being prepared for the simple little things can help me whether many uncomfortable situations! I really appreciate you watching and your wonderful comment! Happy traveling and prepping!!
@@Brandon-0028 Agree! I’m always the one to have things someone needs! I will need to Look for the Dyneema pouches on Etsy! Thanks for the tip!
@@TheoryofSimple They have many colors however I've preferred the translucent over white. The micro pouches are perfect for things just over the size of a credit card. However they expend out to about .5 inches. Perfect for teas, medicines etc.
@@Brandon-0028 thank you! Great tip!
Absolutely fabulous packing vid! Thank you for so many amazing tips! 🌸
Thank you! I just put out a new one as well! 💕😊
This has been one of the most innovative videos I have seen, possibly ever!! Thank you young lady!!
Thank you so much, Annie! I will keep innovating and bring you my best! Truly appreciated your time watching and making time to comment on my videos!
This is awesome! I loved traveling light too, I loved how you were able to fit all those on the bag. I carry with me my bento bag from Nomad Lane, and had always been so fond of how functional and convenient it is with packing the most important things that I need with my trips. Would recommend that for you too!
Thanks, Francine! I will have to look that bento bag up!! I am always looking for new ways of organizing better! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Probably the best packing video ever. Thanks for the effort to put this together.
I agree with your comments. 😁
@@heatherframpton9693 thank you! So happy you found this channel and I look forward to your feedback on other videos!
This lady has to be a genius!!
Thank you, Pam! I am making a new video and I thought, “People are going to think I am either crazy or genius!” I was siding toward crazy but I am happy you think genius! You just made my day! Thank you so much for watching and your feedback! 🙂
@@TheoryofSimple You are my hero!! Always the overpacked and still forgets something I really need!!!
@@pamsimmons9325 🙂
I've watched a ton of these types of videos and this is one of the very best! Seriously, you have an amazing list of ideas and I'm going to have to watch again just to be sure I got it all! Some of the ideas are downright genius!
Hi Ginny! Thank you!! I am always refining my packing and trying new ideas! I am so happy you got some good ideas for your next travel adventure! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Great tips. You thought outside the box. Using the wristlet and purse is double the use. And thinking small, foldable, and flat items. I learned a lot!
Thank you, Cat! I am always trying to consolidate and make items multi use! Hope you get some useful items for your next trip! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hello the Maxi skirt that's 2 in 1 where did you get it from? Brand? Also the vest top?
Best travel video ….. EVER !!! Thank you

GREAT TIPS! I had to watch it 3 times and narrow my shopping list down. I am glad to see someone else bring snacks and soups when they travel. What is the size of the travel mug you have please?
Hi Cynthia! I collapsible mug is 16 oz. Here is the link amzn.to/3QnasQE

Yes, the brand of foldable tote bag that folds into a pouch. I've never seen this before. Also the brand of dry bag for swimsuit.
@@j.n.w7903 the folding tote is by Rumo. I have had it for at least 10 years and I got it at the Container Store. The dry bag is by Tagalongs and i got it at TJMaxx. 😀
