I’d like to see a more in depth video on how you installed this along with some more in depth overview of the TDI swap itself. Such as power steering setup, intercooler setup and stuff like that.

I have 1 video already of the power steering setup on my channel. I will try to get a intercooler video soon. As for the remote start. It’s hard to explain on this particular setup. It’s basically the exact same as any other vehicle except you have to find your wires that you have in your swap harness. Next time I do anything in my dash I’ll try to show some more info on this.

You can plug the cmx into the computer via usb cord and there website . Then you can adjust your features . You don’t need the programmer .

Thanks. I only found the cite that required a login. Seems very tight on info for these units unless you’re a dealer.

Do you think this would work on a stock 22r engine? From a 1986 Toyota pickup to be exact.

Yes because this is basically a stand alone system that hooks up to the starting system. Only issue with 22r is it starting up without patting the gas but a healthy carb shouldn’t have any issues.

Did you use the mk4 ecu? Did you need to program the cmx with a BLADE-AL bypass madule for the mk4 ecu?

Yes it’s MK4 ecu but it’s got the immobilizer deleted for the swap so blade al is not needed.

@paulsperformance okay that was my biggest concern. Nice build man!
