If Street Fighter VI ever happens, PLEASE Capcom bring back special intros. I like how in Mortal Kombat 11 every character has a unique dialogue with another character. I like how in SoulCalibur VI, when certain characters face each other they say something special. Same thing in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Dragonball FighterZ's Dramatic Finishes are a nice touch. Capcom please stop worrying so much about the competitive crowd and just make a video game that's a VIDEO GAME. Then after the game is a hit, you can start doing all the balancing and tweaking it to be competitive friendly. The game world of Street Fighter IV felt so alive, the game world of Street Fighter V felt so dull and dead.
It's not that his heart doesnt hold any sins, he hasn't repented for them so he still has a sins. He blocks the raging demon because he learned a technique that allows him to enter zen state of mind and completely clear his conscience, he uses when Akuma used his raging demon on him.

It reminds me of the old martial arts films where a guy would go into a boss's lair and instead of taking down one henchman, then using his gun on all the others, the hero would just beat everybody up with fists. Then the villain would set down his weapon and they'd go mano e mano. Just reminds of the same concept
The way they react adds to their personality as well. Adon, seeing how they’re evenly matched at first takes the time to taunt, while Sagat steps back to contemplate how to go at this fight.
Akuma blocking Gen's attack is no small feat either. Gen strikes the vital pressure points with that move. Some real Fist of the North Star stuff...minus the exploding.
Eagle definitely wasnt in the original Alpha 3 line up. Neither was Maki nor Ingrid. Without reading these comments, I wouldn't have even known they were added for a PSP release

In the game Final Fight, Guy's Hurricane Kick is considered a death blow or desperate attack that can hit enemies surrounding you to give you some breathing room. If the move connects with at least one enemy, you lose a small portion of your health in exchange for the attack (additional enemies hit do not increase the amount of health lost). In this case however he used the move to knock away the barrels which counted 2 hits, so that's how he lost a bit of life but restored it by touching the food item.
There's some missing intros / variations: 1. Karin have a new special intro against Sakura in SFA Anthology (SFA3 Upper only). 2. In the console version, Guy takes a Food (meat) in the place of a gum. 3. Missing the CPU-Juli&Juni intro (with the Dolls). 4. There's variations of the Ingrid & Blanka special intro. The fruit can variate between a apple, a pineapple, a bunch of bananas , or a watermelon. All fruits results in the same intro, except the watermelon, who leads to an exclusive intro.

Evidently that's how their fight goes, canonically. They both survive each other's death strike, then Akuka realizes Gen is sick and leaves, feeling the fight is tainted.
@@markhunter3533 Something like that. Akuma is all about the fight. He was eager to face Gen. Gen's skills were legendary. However he could sense the sickness in Gen when he attacked. The idea of fighting a sick old man didn't agree with him. Though, if the Udon comics are canon, he later returns to grant Gen an honorable death, killing him with the Raging Demon. Even then, Gen survived long enough to tend to his garden a little more before collapsing.

This games where my obsession when I was a kid. Graphics are still pretty cool. It might seem pretty basic for today’s standards but fighting required so much practice, concentration and technique. Every fight was like a chess game.
Because apparently every damn Japanese FG dev thinks a generic line and pose as long as it's 3D is superior. I miss the personal intros between characters. Now, you can't even tell Ken and Ryu know each other.
What? I've been playing ASW games for years. The only game/series that still does these special intros are BlazBlue. Guilty Gear doesn't do it anymore. Even Dragon Ball FighterZ doesn't have it. IIRC Persona Arena didn't. Guilty Gear hasn't had special intros since Accent Core. Xrd all has character specific dialogue but nothing like Order-Sol vs I-no or Slayer.
Deminus I hate that her other intro wasn't included where her servant is preparing to fight her opponent for her and she throws something at him for taking her place.
Missed a couple ones I've remember: -When Rose wins by perfect, always changes with a more revealing cleavage. -When Ingrid defeats her opponent by using her Lv.3-only Super, she changes clothes to a cute doll-like dress.
My favorite one was Ryu vs Evil Ryu. I like that although it's really the same person, they give them a special intro as if Ryu is battling the Satsu No Hado inside of him or his inner demons.
I remember me & my brothers putting countless ours on our PlayStation (1) console just for this game (& Tekken 3!). Sure it didn’t include all frames of animation when the two characters were different. But it was very hard to tell since 90-95% of said animations were present anyway. One of the best games & ports of our time. I really wish Capcom would release a new Street Fighter game with hand drawn graphics like in the past. Maybe something of a hybrid such the latest Guilty Gear games or the cell shaded graphics of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

There's another version of Ken helping up Ryu (not in the video). You have to KO Ryu with Ken using his Level 3.

Go Hibiki was not wearing sandals when he was killed by Sagat.
