I really like the All Star resorts. I’m the type of person that doesn’t need all the bells and whistles in my room. The beds are comfy, there’s a bathroom, it’s clean, and there’s a place to get breakfast. That’s all I really need from a hotel room!
Even the least expensive of their resorts are clean, well themed, and have great service. I love going here instead of off property hotels for the same price. Free parking, ground transportation, and Mickey waffles every morning do it for me every time.

19 years ago this was the first resort myself and girlfriend went to as it was in our price range. Today that same girl is my wife and we're heading back to WDW in 3 weeks time with our 3yrs old daughter. Thanks for rekindling our memories of our stay at Broadway. Even though we've stayed at most resorts at WDW some of our best memories are from All Star Resorts. Thank you 😊

I don't see what's so bad about the All Star Resorts. If you've saved up for the trip of a lifetime, of course, don't stay here. But I live in Florida and have an AP. In off season months, All Star Resorts are like $68. We're only there to sleep. It's honestly fine. Not gonna spent $300 for a bed to sleep in
Yeah i'm lucky enough to be able to visit WDW 3-5 times each year and it's definitely because we stay in value resorts. We could go once a year and stay in a preferred resort but we really don't spend much time in the hotel. And we hotel hop anyway so to us, a room is a room. We have a car and can drive over to any resort we want for breakfast or whatnot if that's what's important.

Honestly even if you’re coming from Canada like me and only going 3 days I still wouldn’t spend 300$ unless I saved up for years and wanted to have the experience of a lifetime but even then I rather spend a normal amount for a hotel and have more fun at the parks
I stayed at all 🌟 music!! I'd rather stay there than Howard Johnson!! Watching this just made me realize how much I was too busy to appreciate what it offers, also I was 16 years old!!
I am also an AP, I usually just stay offsite but I've been thinking about going to one of the All-Stars since they look a bit nicer than the hotel we go to and are only slightly more expensive.
My boyfriend and I stayed in all star music and it was amazing it was my first hotel I booked all by myself!

I LOVE the All Star Resorts!!! I've stayed at all three and they're all wonderful. They all have their own buses now which is awesome, because years ago you'd have to take ONE bus and it would drop you off at each. They connect to each other which is great if you want to go jogging or something. They're so great and affordable. I wish the cafeterias were a little bigger, but I like each set up because they have shadow box pictures in front of each entrance that house different themes and performers/athletes. I also love how each building on their properties are themed as well! Just like POP Century!! I'm surprised you never visited them, but I'm glad you got to see them!
Aurora Cody Oh that's great that each All Star has its own bus now. We usually stay at Pop since it has its own dedicated bus but we might have to try the All Stars now!

Aurora Cody, they have there own busses all year round? I was told the less busy months(January/February) they share a bus between the 3.
They are not affordable especially just to sleep in, 300 dollars a night is not cheap

We usually do a big group trip every Aug and we stay in POP or one of the All-Stars. They're reasonably priced and easily accommodate our group. When the hubby and I go alone, we stay at the deluxe resorts. You def get what you pay for but I feel like there are no bad rooms at Disney

Tim i really enjoy your videos, im from a little country in central america and is realy hard to save money to travel, your videos always make me smile because i imagine myself traveling to universal, maybe one day i will be able to.

I don't understand why people give the All Star resorts such a hard time. Disney is expensive as hell so there's nothing wrong with wanting to save as much money as possible on a hotel room you're only using to sleep in. I get that the resorts can be tacky and bright, but I have no issues every time we stay at the hotel. It's in a great location and usually always the best prices. Only real issue I have is their the last bus stand at the parks so you have to walk further than the more expensive hotels.
I'd rather spend that money on staying longer. It's kind of a waste to spend so much money on a more expensive hotel you aren't even going to be in much.The value resorts are fine. I actually find the theming charming. Also you can always take a bus or a monorail to some of the other hotels and walk around. There's nothing stopping you from doing that. some people are too fussy.
MoonstonePearl21 Exactly! Another good point to mention is that people who live on "off-site" Orlando hotels are even cheaper. But the extra money to stay at an All Stars is worth the money for the free transportation since Disney is rip off for parking prices. I get wanting a full Disney experience but I don't get what's so horrible about the resorts. Glad you agree with wanting to spend the money on something different.
The other thing is to consider is that you CAN get a complimentary shuttle to and from Disney from many of the offsite hotels near Disney. And these hotels also offer complimentary shuttles to Universal, Legoland, SeaWorld, The Holy Land Experience, and to shopping and other locations. So, these properties can be a great deal if you want to see more than just Disneyworld.

We really Enjoyed the Bakery Cases at All Star Sports and Music in 2017. Made great Midday Snacks and Late Night Desserts. Beer/Wine Selection is Amazing too. Pool Bars were Very good as well.
All Star Music holds a sweet place in my heart. It's very nostalgic. It's the hotel I stayed in my first tripe when I was little. It's also perfect for me since I'm into music.
The “bongos” are actually congas. And the 2/4 time signature is accurate. Neat observation regarding the Stratocaster! 👍🏼
I always stay at the All Star Music resort when I vacation at Disney World. The moderates may have more themeing but not worth it for me. I spend most of my time at the parks so the value resorts are all I need. Thanks for your vlogs !
Enjoyed this, love that you've been doing "resort tours" and showing merch/food/prices lately - very nicely done, and I'm sure provides great info for a lot of folks.

Stayed here for the first time last year and I fell in love! I've done most hotels at Disney and I can easily say this is my number three on my top 10 list. Staying here again in November 😁
That was a harmonica covering the staircase at Country Fair. The All Star Resorts fit my teacher aide salary. Especially if I plan on going to the parks. I just can't see paying all that money for a hotel room just to hold my toothbrush. I was very lucky last year to get a very good deal for Labor Day at the Caribbean. My daughter and I fell in love with it!!! We did one park day and then the resort and Disney Springs. It was great! I'd like to to the moderate and higher resorts BUT no parks. I'd like to just enjoy staying there and taking advantage of the other things Disney has to offer.
Great video as always. Just wanted to add, that I have stayed a week at Animal Kingdom suites, to the Polynesian resort, to Caribbean Beach, to Saratoga Springs, and countless All Star Resorts over the years. I never feel like I'm downgraded by staying at an All Star, and while it's great to stay at moderates and deluxes, I honestly never feel like I'm missing out on anything when I stay at All Star resorts, and I look forward to staying there just as I do any of the more expensive resorts. It always feels awesome to check into ANY Disney resort, and always sad when I leave. The memories, experience and fun is up to you, and what you make of it.

The All-Star tours are some of my favorite videos to come back and watch.
We go to Disney for the parks and do not hang out at our resort, except to sleep. We are staying at All Star Music in November for $113 a night. Can't beat that price. All the money we are saving at the value resort, we are taking tours and eating wherever we desire. Thanks Disney.
Tim & Jenn I love your vlogs. Ive visited Orlando twice before I became a parent. I now have two kids and cannot wait to take them to experience all that Orlando has to offer. You give excellent tips and advice, which I shall certainly use when my family and I get the chance to visit. Keep up the great work.

Bringing back memories of our marching band staying here in 2000. We stayed in the Jazz building and played Pokemon Snap all night.
I love the Theming of All Star Music cause of Being a Band Geek. I played Clarinet/Saxophone in High School.
I was at all 🌟 jazz section!! With the guy playing the trumpet!! And the other Delaware team was in all 🌟 rock and roll!!

Once upon a time the Mrs and myself stayed at poly, next time we stayed at this resort, All Stars Music, then we stayed at Pop Century as it was new at the time. Our favorite was Pop Century as it had more bang for the buck. Sad to say we will never be able to go again but thanks to Tim and Jen we are able to fantasize and remember the great times we once had.

The first time I went to Orlando as a kid in 1996, I stayed in the Maracas building at All Star Music. This brought back so many memories, thank you :)
We've always stayed at all stars every time we go and we really like it. Since we don't spend a lot of time at the resort, there's no point in spending all that money if you're not gonna be there to enjoy the amenities. We've stayed at Music and Movies and Movies will always be our go to. Only time we haven't stayed at an all stars was when we went for my sweet 16 and was upgraded from Pop Century to the cabins at wilderness campground. They were really nice but the bus system there isn't the greatest.

We had that same laundry technology when I was on the DCP in Spring 2016! Very convenient to not to have to carry change.

I gave myself a splurge spur of moment trip to the world after surgery in February and stayed in the all Stars music and loved it. I had Broadway and was right across from the Mary Poppins sign (which is my favorite movie ever). I kept looking both ways to cross the 'street' - ha ha! It's s cute resort, it's fun to try to stay in as many different resorts as you can, there is something good about each.

All Star Sports is one of my favorite resorts! I have so many memories from that hotel; it's one of the best, even as a value resort.
I stayed at the all star music resort back in 2002. when I was 11 years old still went in June that year I went with my grandma and my aunt I remember that pool that looks like a guitar I swam in that one.
I stayed at all star movies years ago not a lot of frills but because it was a value resort the price was right for a guy like me and my family on a tight budget
We just got back from All-Star Movies and our wing was closer to the Music building so we used their food court and rode their buses a couple of times. I think the All-Stars are a 'you get what you pay for' kind of thing. We knew going into it that they weren't going to be the fanciest hotel, but the last time we were at Disney we were in our room to sleep and that was it. If you don't plan on having an off day during your trip I don't see the point paying extra for a nicer hotel. They were clean, the food court was good, my kids loved the pool, and we had a little extra spending money. We would stay at one again.
I haven’t stayed at many Disney hotels, but this one is my favorite. I just LOVE it. Broadway and Country look simply gorgeous at night, and I love the atmopshere around the Calypso with the pool!
Stayed here 20 years ago, with my parents. Now, 20 years later, I am going with my husband and family and meeting my parents and staying at the All start music!!
I remember staying at this resort. But this was back in 1997 during Disney World's 25th Anniversary. Then I went back a second time but back in 2011. Good times.
The all star resorts are similar in layout, but themed to the name. when we went to Disney world. me and my family stayed at all star sports. And everything was themed to sports. big props, things around the pool, gift shop, arcade, check in area, etc. The food changes daily. The food also changes from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. everything is the cafeteria is based on what meal plan you have. I loved how the bus transportation was efficient and able to go anywhere on Disney property.

I remember the excitement I felt in my first Disney trip when those sliding doors first opened from the lobby to reveal that pool area. Good times.
We love the All Star resorts! Movies is our fave. They have everything we need there and then some. Always tons of people decorating their windows when we stay. Can't wait to see you go to Movies and Sports.
YAY!!!!!!! This is where I worked!!! My home!!!!! I worked quick service food & beverage 2005. I totally miss it. I want to move back to Florida and work at my All-Star Music again.

Thank you for posting. We are going to Disney this May and staying at All-Star Music. We stayed at All-Star Movies and Fort Wilderness before but this will be a first for All-Star Music. This was VERY helpful. Gave us an oppertunity to learn the resort before going. We really appreciate it. Thanks again.

Don't hate on the all star resorts. Not everyone has 300 bucks a night to spend at a resort that you're only there to sleep in.

You essentially have to weigh the value of staying on Disney property and what you can get for the same price slightly off property especially with the value resorts. The theming and pools and food are better at the comparable "value" Universal Resorts.
The Little Mermaid section of Art of animation and the marginal increase for Coronado Springs or POR have better theming, pools, food and aren't as crazy boisterous loud.

I love the All Star resorts for a few reasons. I (we) don't spend a lot of time there so I don't see spending the extra monies for a "nicer" resort. I have stayed at many a Disney properties but the All Stars are just FUN. I started taking my kids years ago and I am now bringing Grand-kids and they all like the resorts as they feel more "Disney" than others. They are colorful, comedic and you can just relax and be yourself as some of the other resorts it almost feels like you need to dress or act in a certain way which is not relaxing, especially with children.
Now, I stay at the All Star Sports because it is the First bus stop and I never have a problem getting seats nor do I have to wait long. I understand they are the furthermost resorts but riding the buses to different areas gives you a chance to observe the properties that you can't while driving.
One question I do have: Is the big McDonalds still right outside the entrance? Just wondering because fries at the end of the day are so good.

Loved watching this :D I stayed here last year and its brought back so many memories. I wasn't overly impressed when I first arrived but it was so comfortable I loved it. I must say I did experience 2 cast members, one on reception and the other in the shop, who were quite rude! But the hotel I did grow to love :)
We stayed here in June and we really enjoyed it. It's definitely a change from our usual moderate resorts, but for what little time we actually spend at the resort, it doesn't bother me.
I stayed here for my choir trip and I'm going back here for my own birthday trip! I'm so excited!

First time at Disney world and I stood there at the all star music resort like a week ago. It's a nice resort.
I was staying here back in December of 2012, very good service and good rooms for 5 in one room and 5 in another.
Perfect timing Tim! We JUST switched our resort stay from All-Star Sports to Music for our holiday trip this year and were looking for a walking tour video. Can't wait to vlog it!.....also it was a harmonica.
Staying here at the moment and I love it, great quality, love the theming and the staff are great. And Tim it was great to bump into you and chat in the food court, love your vlogs so much and you also managed to catch my friend walking through the reception 😊
