- I'm so excited to be able to finally share this project with you guys. This is my version of the 80s Optimus! We printed it huge and multi material so it just printed in the colors and no post processing or finishing work was needed. Just some assembly required. ;)

The Colors you picked for the filament were perfect! Those colors really pop just like int eh cartoons
This was Chelsey's doing. She's the color master. But I agree, I particular like the Noble blue. It's such a pretty filament

Amazing project! A tip that tf toy owners use to re-tighten joints is giving them a coat of nail varnish or future floor polish on the ball.

Awesome job. As for other Transformers, you can’t have Optimus Prime without Megatron. And personally, I’d like to see Soundwave with Rumble, Ravage, and Laserbeak.

Thank you Heather! And no I make sooooo many mistakes. I try to condense the modeling footage to only the important parts. It was about 10 hours of raw footage, so I cut out a lot of adjusting and moving things around lol
After the modelling footage I almost expected to hear "Welcome to the Hydraulic Press Channel" 😂😂😂

Based on the masterpiece mold, or MP10, it looks really good. Though, a third party/KO company has blown up the MP10 mold, and it is fully transformable. Stands 71 cm tall in robot mode. If I had a 3d printer I would try to do Godzilla. But, as far as Transformers, you've already done the only one I would pick. Awesome work.

Echo'ing the desire for a Soundwave. And possibly include a tape deck template for folks to create their own minicons. You could call it an Open Source Soundwave. OH and you could possibly cram a bluetooth speaker in there. ;)

great job, he's absolutely fantastic!!! however, i think it would have been cool to design the multi-colour stuff as separate inlays. it seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to assemble, at least at this scale, and you wouldn't have any waste towers. maybe a design approach for the next one. either way, he's really incredible! absolutely LOVE IT! i'd quite like to see wreck-gar as seen in the latest film! :-)

Someone a while back did a transformer Tardis Soundwave. In the images on Thingiverse it show they did K-9 that turned into Laserbeak but then never produced the files. It would be awesome to see this done! Great job on this project though!

Dude, awesome job, Optimus looks incredible! And I know he's not exactly a Transformer...but I would love to see you make a 3D printed Charizard 😀 Or maybe Ditto or some other Pokémon with odd shapes to them. Of course by my channel name I would love Stoutland :]

I've been toying with the idea of breaking down CW Air Raid for a Seeker Combiner, esp now we have Screamer as a torso piece. It didn't occur to me until after the Aerialbots were already gone off retail, but they didn't hit too hard around here, anyway. Making an AR/Screamer Combiner would work either way, just a few mods and filament color changes.
But yeah, Soundwave, Ratchet/Ironhide, Seekers, any G1 TF would work for me. Dare I say a classic Walther Megatron?
