This album ("Trash", 1989) had the privilege to introduce me to heavy/rock/metal (prior to that I used to listen mainly to Top-50 artists, as well as DireStraits mostly, nothing heavier -I just didn't know, OK ?!) and was my "initiation" ! An hour later I was hooked for life, and still strongly am, 35 years on ! :D
Later my gf bought me the latest Maiden release (1990's "No prayer for the dying") and my mum bought me 1984s "Powerslave", and Maiden fast carved itself a spot among my Top-10 favorite artists of all time... ^^

We didn't have cable or satellite TV growing up, so my parents had recorded vhs tapes of MTV music videos of like Poison and Alice Cooper, and I used to watch his "House of Fire" video on repeat when I was like 6 years old lol. Now that I'm an adult, that song is WILDLY inappropriate for a 6 year old, but man I fucking loved it haha
