I know some that was in a black Sabbath tribute band but he quit as he started working afternoons. A bass player. There were 70 and 80 year olds just jamming and dancing to these older tunes. Not my grandpa's music.😆They listened to the old country music like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Sr. and from Kentucky. So did my mother so country was my first music experience. I bet at nursing homes they play older rock and argue who was the best.

That's true. Even though the first concert I went to was one where, for some reason, he was rushing it and my husband was acting like a jerk and so was the security guard, and I went into labor, and it was still a darned entertaining show.

This is what happens today when you speak the truth. I'm part of the lgbtq+ community and, coming from a man who is 75, I found nothing he said to be offensive. It's sad that we have so many people thinking that gender is only a mental thing and the physical has nothing to do with determining your gender. I disagree, gender is mostly physical, the mental part is only a tiny part of gender identity. Don't get me wrong I do believe there really are people who are trans, but most of the ones today aren't.

I played at the RockFest 2013 with Alice Cooper as a headliner. This guy was unbelievable live!!! Didn't care much at first since it was a punk/HC/ska/metal fest, but he quickly became the highlight of the weekend as the show started lol When you say he still got it at 75... I truly believe it.

I'm a member of the LGBT+ community. I have to say it seems like people have forgotten the old saying of "Sleep on it". There's no need to rush. Let kids just be kids. If they still feel that way then maybe do something about it. The human brain doesn't stop developing until a person is about 26 years of age. I didn't know for sure I was trans until I was about 18, when the realization solidified in my mind. I say sleep on it then proceed with caution because transitioning is a hard process and takes time. Be sure absolutely sure first.

I played at the RockFest 2013 with Alice Cooper as a headliner. This guy was unbelievable live!!! Didn't care much at first since it was a punk/HC/ska/metal fest, but he quickly became the highlight of the weekend as the show started lol When you say he still got it at 75... I truly believe it.
Alice is absolutely correct and within his right to express himself. He didn't even say anything hateful.

Alice Cooper is a living legend. Furthermore, he's extremely eloquent. I'm an English teacher and a writer, and I doubt seriously I could've responded to the interviewer's loaded question with more honesty, eloquence, impartiality, clear thinking and diplomacy. And his guitarist "Noodles" coming out with a blanket statement to reduce Alice's well-thought critique into a slanderous headline...well, typical. Maybe Noodles should go work for Disney or Marvel as a developer for future "woke" shows. 'Cause those folks are obviously doing so well mining that vein, one more joining the ranks might help those channels finally make a profit the next time.
Alice is a class act and very respectful person. This man deserves no hate from anyone.

I'm a member of the LGBT+ community. I have to say it seems like people have forgotten the old saying of "Sleep on it". There's no need to rush. Let kids just be kids. If they still feel that way then maybe do something about it. The human brain doesn't stop developing until a person is about 26 years of age. I didn't know for sure I was trans until I was about 18, when the realization solidified in my mind. I say sleep on it then proceed with caution because transitioning is a hard process and takes time. Be sure absolutely sure first.

I think Alice's comments were pretty reasonable and grounded in logic. The fact that this makeup company dropped him following his comments shows how woke they really are. I was surprised at the title of the video, because it is widely-known that Alice Cooper is one of the kindest person in the metal and rock community. He's helped countless artists deal with their substance abuse problems. And there is nothing wrong in what he said. He voiced real and legitimate concerns.
