In case you can't read the description, my Switch got fixed by replacing the fan entirely. I've not had any beeps or whirring since it was replaced. As well, I've felt the fan scraping as it tried to spin around and I knew it must've had it at that point. And before you ask, I didn't fix it myself, I got someone else to do it and they gone and chipped the shell of my console. 😡
I've been having the exact same problem. Based on my research, I can tell you that it's most likely the fan, as defective ones tend to get stuck in place, stop blowing air out, and make this obnoxious sound. Thankfully it's pretty quiet, and replacement fans are pretty cheap. Just make sure you buy the correct one, since the OG and OLED models have different fans. Definitely watch a video if you're looking to do this though, it's not dangerous per se but it's good to know what you're getting into when opening your Switch.
Can confirm faulty fans. Switch lite had fan issues where it would go 110% and make a crackling noise. One sleep mode later, it was solved. Switch consoles can in fact have fan problems, though beeping is new to me
Thank you for the comment! When the beeping happens, I can't feel the fan and the beeping's getting louder and more frequent so I'll take it to a repair shop ASAP as I have 0 technology skills (tried fixing a DS and made the problem worse 😂).
great video man, much love, and keep the good work:) good luck finding a solution for ur problem. but its not that annoying is it? cuz i normally watch vids on 10% volume and i had to watch this one on 100% volume just to barely hear it. but if it is then reddit is the solution prob.
i myself also have this, as this video is 5 months old did you find a fix for this? the noise is really annoying :( . This was the only video i was able to find of this issue

When you have the Switch in your hands, the beeping is a lot more annoying as not even the sounds of the game can dampen the sound.
I didn't hear any bleeping
turn your volume up
@@realoliverhillyt42069 I did and I still heard nothing
It's just very quiet but if you had the Switch in your hands, you will definitely hear it.
"The bomb had been defused"
Have you fixed this issue? If yes, what was the problem?
i heard the beep idk what it could be though

As per the description and title, the fan was faulty so I had to entirely replace it.
huh
i dont hear nothing
you are deaf
My switch is beeping too & it keeps overheating
The fan could be dead. I had the same problem and as soon as the fan was replaced, it worked just fine.
Did you try putting it in rice
please tell me this is a joke
No, please don't...
Would egg fried rice do? XD
@@SamSonicVideos it could work but uncooked white rice is the best
It’s going to explode
The way it used to wirr and overheat, I would think so too.
