When I was a lad I used to steal and eat a bunch of raw gnocchi while my nonna was making them. My nonna would tell me the raw gnocchi would clog my insides and I would never go to the bathroom again. That sounded awesome to me, so I would steal as many as I could. Sigh....I think my nonna was lying to me.

When making gnocchis at my nonnas house, she would roll them, my mother would form them and my job was to place the finished gnocchis on the plates. I would always try to get some extra flour on my hands so that it would look like I had „worked“ too!

A little taste of home. My Dad was an Italian / Greek mix and he brought a lot of home made foods to the dinner table. This brings back some pleasant memories.
