I'm currently looking for a netbook right now. So far, I like the Sony Vaio P out of all the netbooks. I love the fact that the Vaio P is so small that you can put it on your back pocket. Just hate that it runs on Vista and many people say that it is very sluggish. It would be better off with XP.
that webcam seems like it has an external aperture which is odd. do you see the black lense, it looks like its getting bigger and smaller, but its the little white aperture is moving. very odd....
i have the acer aspire one and its amazing for wireless internet browsing but for home and work better use big laptops with bigger ram,hdd,video card and manyother stuffs
I dunno. for me, netbook experience was pretty good although the processor was slow. I had eee pc s101 for a month and a half with a SSD. I went for macbook air later, but that netbook actually had a comparably good performance. May be it was because of the sweet Solid state drive, which was pretty awesome as it had almost no sound and heat coming out plus awesome application starting time

Anyways, from my netbook experience I would say the ideal netbook would have to be one of the new 11.6" models before I would even consider one..a touchscreen would also be great, since personally I HATE touchpads..we all know Apple is about to debut a netbbok with touchscreen as well.

Worse even the 10.1" screen model I had just felt way to cramped screensize. The only thing I really liked was the battery life. 7 hours on the $349 Asus model I purchased. Whereas most full size are around a pitiful 2 hours, which is even stretching it for anything demanding.. But yeah the only way I could recommend a netbook is if you're very mobile..
who cares if you do not like macs and it is called boot camp and parallels so you can play the latest games on mac`s and a lot more companys are starting to make games for macs and have you even used a mac before they are great and will own almost any PC desktop or laptop you got that

Also I feel like Atom's are basically a scam. From what I have found they dont really save power because theyre currently paired with poor power hungry chipsets. So you can get much more powerful CPU's from AMD that when combined with the chipset burn the same amount of watts. Sure this will be fixed in the future for Atom. And yeah, from benchmarks Atom's perform pretty horribly. Theyre really just a triumph of brand and Intel's marketing muscle over quality imo.
honestly do you really need this? you have a 13-inch $1500 macbook which is portable, reasonably powerful, and has a full-sized keyboard. this is just overkill and you know little about technology besides reading the back of the box and maybe checking engadget or cnet every now and then. come on just use your iphone if you really cant carry a 13-inch macbook around. what a waste.

A netbook would be handy for note taking etc. apart from that I don't really need a computer out and about.

I have an Eee PC........its not too bad mostly use it when I go away. Overclocking is cool on it though, from 1.6Ghz to 2Ghz :)

The old plastic MacBooks had the Intel Integrated X3100, not the GMA 950 or something. The old Mac Minis had the GMA one tho.
