I ordered both the heritage and omega in Horween after your reviews & I absolutely love them both. My horween omega is currently my daily bible & the leather is incredibly soft and a pleasure to hold. The paper, font and layout is all truly a home run….minus the ribbons of course:)
I actually like the blind stamping on the Horween I think it gives it a really classic look especially once the leather is all broken in
I just bought this. It is beautiful! I love the blind stamping, and that there's no gilt line on the inside. Its just my style. Very understated. I love the width and colors of the ribbons. The paper is amazing. The layout is amazing. The leather is amazing. It's so nice. Im so blessed to have it. Thanks for making your videos. I've learned SO MUCH from your channel!

It's a very interesting concept to make the leather where it will show the wear easily. It makes every one unique to its owner. I like the blind stamping as well, it'll give it more of a rustic character when it's broken in.

There is something about that block...the layout with all that white space around the text reminds me of old manuscripts--if I were more of an artist, I would consider making mine an illuminated edition with colorful designs to go with my notes. Add the Horween leather and you have a unique work of art...alas I am not that artistic. Great video! Thanks Beau.!!!

That's me... But I'd say, when I see the first scratch on the cover or gilding, I'd feel so much relieved that I can immerse myself deeper into God's Word instead of worrying about the physical stuff any more.

I'd love a schuyler treveris with that leather. It's simply beautiful, I personally love a smooth leather as opposed to a grainy one.

I have had my Omega Horween for about a month now and I LOVE IT. It might just be my favorite Bible I have ever owned. I am going to send it to Jeffrey Rice though to get some ribbons switched out.

Hi. Happy Saturday! Just this early afternoon I went to my local Christian bookstore to check them out. In general, I really liked this one. I have a Schuyler NASB Thinline Quentel with 2 tone brown on the cover. Love it. This Horween leather is gorgeous! Smells great. Like the single column. Interior cover is better on the Quental. But I do like the ESV version. So I had to touch and taste it so to speak. If I get one, I will let you know. And I could. Not sure about the brand Crossway, it's not bad, but like Cambridge & Schuyler a little better. But not against Crossway either. Love the fact that the leather is from Chicago, and Crossway is from Wheaton.
I was blessed with the Heritage edition and am absolutely enjoying it! Still dumbfounded by the ribbon choices but all-in-all it's a great Bible. Even built a matching journal cover and pen case to match. Little bit of Horween fever over here lol

I just found your video a few days ago and ended up getting one. I love it. I do have a question, would this be something you would throw and in a computer bag and take with you on the daily?
One thing I've noticed is how it changes based on temperature too. Even after it's broken in well it's a bit stiffer off the shelf than after you've read it a while

My favorite thing to ware on my feet is cowboy boots so if this bible is anything like that I would love to get one.

Great looking bible . About the blind stamping . I think they went that way because the leather wont take the gold foil stamping consistently . great review though. Prehaps crossway will eventually concerning the ribbons .
I prefer the EB purple personally. But that is just me.

I have a question. Do you know if Crossway is going to bring back their wide margin edition? I'm so bummed that they dropped it. They still sell the trutone ones but I would love to get a heirloom quality one.

I wonder if the Wellington leather is similar to Horween. I'm hoping to snag one in September this year from crossway.
I wonder if Crossway would make Horween covers on their other Bible editions (compact, Study Bible, Psalter... etc)? I'm a compact bible guy and I would love to see a Horween edition of that. 🙂
I think the Horween leather looks really nice when new but I've seen a number of review videos to where it scratches super easy. I'm not sure if I'd like that or not. I think I still prefer a soft goatskin and the durability of it.

The legacy is one of my favorites from Crossway. This looks like a wonderful edition!
This edition has me torn. Love the cover but I’m not an esv guy. Hard to justify the price on a Bible I may or may not use. Or I might become an esv guy. What to do, what to do?
Willing to trade this for a wide margin heirloom?

Looks like a really nice Bible and I own several premium Bibles but I've never paid $350 for one and as much as I would love to have one of these I think I'm going to have to pass.
At least that's the price they have on crossway maybe somebody can link me one cheaper somewhere else I didn't see one on Amazon so I don't know
I'm glad it doesn't have gold on it. This is more of a rugged type bible. As it gets worn, Gold would look out of place in my opinion.

As my bible collection grows and my wallet shrinks I have to get pickier and pickier with every little detail that is displeasing in these bibles. I gotta say, the fact that it’s simplistic with those junky ribbons and ribbon placements, this one is a pass for me for sure. Not to deter anyone who finds those features endearing, but it’s just not my style. ;) Thanks for the review brother!
