Way too much in the washer. Barely agitating. The motor will burn out like that. When the towels get wet, they get super heavy.

Agree. Your clothes and the wash water aren't clean. Eeew

Try putting in 3 large towels instead of 5. Overloading the washer will burn out the motor and will not clean your laundry as thoroughly.

    I have the same exact washer and it's a 17.6 washer which means 17lbs wash 6 lbs to spin .. that is NOT a 26lb washer it's a 17.6lb washer/ spin dryer.

No need to wash towels everyday if you're clean after a shower maybe 2 or 3 times a week. How often do you wash your clothes?

For an additional $100. You can purchase a portable washer that is metal and has a larger tub that uses hot water & bleach. Can't imagine having to put your hands in the water while washing or having a small tub for spinning.

There are a few on Amazon. This machine here is too much hassle and mess.

      Or your too lazy?..
These twins are known for cleaning clothes a lot better..
And it allows you to use warm water all the way through the cycles that you also choose..
You're not forced to cold rinse all the time...
      You choose the water temp...
You choose the amount of water you want..
How many rinses you want how long to wash and rinse..
And same with how and when you spin..
You can also fill up the spinner side with water for rinses...
and at the same time wash another load of laundry on the washer side tub at the same time!!!!
If you use the spinner for rinsing it mimics the way you would rinse say a sponge out..
Soak with water and squeeze (spin) it out..
A twin tub puts YOU in total control over how you do YOUR laundry..
And how the cycles of the washing machine works..
It puts you in full control over the way the washing machine works...
      Not the manufacturer...
And with the many ways you can work the machine it keeps it fun and interesting...
Its like thr manual car transmission of washing machines..
But i guess we can't help it if it seems like too much work for some people..
I bought and have a 150.00 dollar twin tub washer..
I also bought a while back a 1,200.00 dollar HE washing machine..
When i got the twin tub, just to test it, i threw in clothes that were washed in the HE full size washer into the twin tub...
And to my surprise, soap appeared that was left behind from the HE washer..
And the water turned BLACK with left over dirt AND SOAP that the 1,200.00 HE full size washing machine which has all the computer crap and all the bells and whistles and of course the spit take of water it uses to clean the clothes...
That hunk of junk 1,200.00 dollar washing machine couldn't even rinse out the clothes properly much less wash them!!!!!
I could not believe it.. but when i saw how thoroughly the twin tub was washing..
      I believed it...
So now i do small loads of laundry and my primary washer is the twin tub..
I haven't tuched the HE washer now in months..
I hate that other piece of shh....
If my twin tub ever fails i of course will try to repair and save it....
      Or definitely buy another..
I can't live without it now...
So you can say what you want...
Yeah... its work to use a twin tub......
      But....
      So what!!!!!?????..
I'm 50 with diabetes and with diabetic cataracts i can't see see a damn thing..
i suffer from bad neuropathy from the diabetes, (Google search it if you don't know what that is) and suffer from extreme pain all the time
and my heart is also in very bad shape and my legs and feet are swollen from the pooling of the blood that my heart can't circulate...
And i can still use the twin tub..
      And absolutely love it..
      Sooo..
      If i can do it?????..
      Which i do...
      ??????????
      ???????
      Then..... ....
      ehhh??????
      Right??
      Not to hard is it...

Nice machine. Is it still working well for you? I just ordered one that is a little smaller, 20lbs and is gravity drain only. I have a regular sized washer in the basement. I just despise lugging heavy loads up and down stairs. I bought from Walmart because it is one of the few places that you can both return to the store and get a warranty.

Are you saying the washing machine is 26lb which is about 11.5kg? I am not sure of that

  • @maineapple52
    @maineapple52 ปีที่แล้ว

18 lbs in the wash cycle and 8 lbs in the spinner. You have way too much water in the tub. It is hard to see, but there are usually water levels either on the sides or near the lint filter. You may need a flashlight to see it. When spinning, machine should be on drain. The way you're over loading this machine, I hate to say it but it will not last long. 😩
