I had mine 7 months now & it’s still going strong & I got a panda electric dryer that dries up to 13 pounds of clothes

Nice! I been looking at those dryers. Might investigate more. Need it to run on propane out here.

Bought one of these, as I was having to wash everyday when caring for my mum. I ran it off a 400w Poweroak solar power station, ran great and got about 4 full washes/spins out of the powerbank before it needed recharging, so saved on electricity as well

I didn't know that annoying hard plastic piece comes off the drain hose. I am so happy to see your video. Thanks for sharing. 💜🌻

Purchased a twin manual washer stayed with it a couple years before opting for an automatic portable and let me tell you i returned the automatic and repurchased a manual twin. Automatic didnt seem like it cleaned as well as the twin because its so narrow not giving clothes space. I had to put way less clothing which literally doubled or tripled my time. In the end I rather be chained to the twin every minutes knowing its cleaning my clothes really well. The automatic also didnt not spin dry as well leaving clothing very damp unlike the manual. I love with manual that i can spin for 10 min if i wanted to. With automatic I had to run the spin cycle multiple times again it just doubled time in the end.

Thank you! I just bought a similar machine and this demo was most helpful. I will still be taking a medium load of towels and sheets to the laundromat once a month or so,but this will nicely suffice for pretty much everything else. So much easier than the endless buckets of hand laundry that takes forever to dry. I also have my beloved clothesline in warm weather.

I find I am doing the same, to play catch up since it does take a lot if you have more than one load of laundry to do. This is great for single folks, apartments, part time campers... just not tons of full time life with more than one person. it works... but yes, I am finding a laundromat convenient for playing catchup every few weeks for towels and sheets, big and bulky loads for sure.

Live in an apt with full size washer&dryer hookups. Will probably be moving again, possibly long distance in a few years. So, I do not want to transport anything more extra. I do want to claim my tub and bathroom back without having to haul everything out. And rotating the clothes that get dried. Getting to be a pain to clear out buckets that might be on soak. And remove the clothes that are drying...your video convinced me to buy this larger Kruppet! Can do larger loads. Other videos of this same brand&size machine, the drain pumps tend to malfunction. Probably because there is no extra lint catchers they buy for the wash machine(might help with detangling clothes?) and alsp at the end of the hose and their kitchen sinks? But less time and it looks like an easiet task to do light-afghan blankets? Which are a pain in the bathtub for me. Laundry rubs are nearly an impossible task to get to for me. But the drainpipe in my unit is about 3ft built inside the wall. If too high to properly drain, I will get a plastic bucket like you have or a stronger plastic garbage pail and put on a dolly to empty into the tub. Also, years ago I left my Haier 1.5 3,000 miles away in a relocation move. That was a workhorse and I missed leaving that behind more than anything else. But, I use white vinegar for a variety of reasons, mostly to keep the wash machine lines clean and from smelly gunkup.

Our apartment manager keeps the laundry room locked when the office is closed. After 5 pm and weekends are the only times I can do laundry, so the on site laundry facilities is useless. I bought a portable washer (similar to this one) and have been using it for over 2 years. It's so covenient to be able to do laundry any time of day. I wished I had discovered these machines when I was in college.

That is crazy they are allowed to close it at 5 and weekends.... the only time Most working people have to do their chores. smh. Glad you found a way around it.

I have the same one and I love it! I just hated how it likes to tangle your clothing up into a big ball while it washes so I came up with a solution, check the video out! It will give your washer a longer lifespan and get your clothes even cleaner!

That's actually a nice little machine. Just takes a bit of extra effort or attention than a fully automatic but it's nice. I was going to buy one for my apt but I'm moving into a new apt that has regular hookups so I will get regular washing machine. Your machine holds a lot of laundry. You could have fit more in there. I'm impressed with it. Thank you for sharing.

You can also feel your your spin dryer up you don't have to put three and four pieces in there you can fill it up a little bit

Find you a table that can drain the rest of that water out it'll drain better going down for its gravity take it and turn it on me put it on a table and it will drain better

    • @halfgridhomestead
      @halfgridhomestead  3 ปีที่แล้ว

not much room to add tables for a stand in the camper, but in a cabin or home for sure, I would put it up higher if possible. I can't put it on the table or higher on what I have because Its just a camper and the water weight would break my table, that would probably be dangerous for me in here lol.

How long it has too take when you hung it up after spin dry

No need to fill washer again unless your using fa rice softener. Spin soap out and soak clothes in spinner with water and spin again 2-3 times to remove soap.

We get so dirty out here in the woods, and we wear our pants and shirts more than one day most of the time- sooo much dirt!!! Second fill turns brown usually so Ill do another big rinse until Im happy with the color of the water. Id have to do it twice as much in the spin cycle with load sizes being split and the spinner does not agitate soaking into all the nooks and cranny's like the wash side does. I like to just give a nice big rinse out in the big tub with all of the load, then split and spin out. Filling with my shower head in the bathroom now does not give me option to use the basket filler hose to spinner side. If it were just some dress clothes or something not that dirty I agree on your method for sure.

Make sure that you put a sock on the end of that so Lynnwood not clog up your sink or get a lint Trapper for your sink

I ended up getting a set of floating lint traps to toss right in the washer, works great for catching the dog hair and lint. Thanks!
