Many thanks, Dean. The trickiest part was fitting the black metal converter(?) box - connected between the H4 and light bulb of the LedPERF - into some space of my MT-07 (2018) headlamp unit. It's a squeeze. The box is now held in place by cable ties. Cheers!
Have just fitted mine, unfortunately still in winter storage, brilliant light though, great delivery from France as-well,thank you for the info on how to do it👍👍
Esta bombilla, en Europa, no está homologada, los exponemos a sanciones y retirada de puntos en el carnet de conducir. Pero existe una alternativa la Philips Ultinon pro 6000, cuesta más dinero pero es legal..!!!
Hi mate. I have a gsxs750, so you can simply buy this led bulb and it’s plug and play? You don’t need a relay etc for it? Surely this is too simple???? Is it genuinely as easy as it looks? I didn’t realise you could change from a standard crap orange bulb to an led without relays etc.
It is as simple as the how to, I’m no mechanic which is why I post things like this to guide others who may also not be overly technical as to how I achieved the end result. You may have to switch the bulb back for the day of MOT testing though as LED headlights aren’t a standard fitment on the bike (depends on how clued up your MOT tester is).
@@jackwednesday it's silly that they still sell fast motorcycles then equip them with the most terrible headlight bulbs on earth. I had to swap out the bulbs on my brand new 125 recently because the main beam was a terrible 35w halogen!!!. I replaced it with an LEDPERF bulb and I went from not being able to see a damn thing above 15mph to now being able to do the same drive at 40mph, all while actually using a little less energy so my battery isn't under as much stress.
Thanks for the amazing video. I got the same ones and realize they are a bit too strong in the height driver of other cars would be. Do yours blind as well?
Hi there when you finally finished Did you find that you had to Slightly adjust the bulb Making The beam level But the arrows slightly out . Many thanks Mike
Hi Mike, mine lined up fine but there will be a couple of mm movement where the bulb seats so unless the bulb is perfectly central in the locating hole it may need a touch of adjustment
Hello. Thanks for a great video. I've got a Suzuki gsx 750. I bought the led perf lamp after watching your video, but it seems it came with a different configuration than the one in your video (but I might be wrong). The led comes with the "three pin" plug attached. Will this three pin plug fit the native attachments on the bike, or, do I have to do any chopping/re-wiring? Many thanks.
Hi I bought the same type and did all the steps But the light is not working properly The low light works as a high light And the high light work as a low light I tried to reverse the the light But the same result Do you have any advice on this?
It is better than the standard bulb, part of the reason for changing is there are reports of the headlight lenses cracking as they can get too hot with the standard bulb.
No the rules changed in 2021. No idea why but LED lights are legal now. These newer LED replacement bulbs have the LED chips in the same place as the halogen filament so beam pattern should be the same.

Danke für die hervorragende Bauanleitung.
Ich konnte soeben ohne Probleme auf h4 LED von Philips umrüsten.
Arbeitsaufwand 10 Minuten.
Sir this is what we need simply and ease way to explain the things with a England accent. God video

Thanks for the assist with removing the ring to get the rubber boot in place!

got a gixxis of my own, the factory bulb is sub-par at best. gonna order this one now for the dark nights ahead. thanks for the guide!
Thanks for this video. It really helped me out today.
Need to get you on track now Dean!

Nice car in the garage 👍😁
Side lights video?? Ordering mine tonight 👍🏻
I think the correct form is the rubber to cover the coolers to protect against water and dust. I did this way.
The rubber is to stop moisture getting onto the lense as per the original you don’t want moisture causing fogging on the headlight lense

Thanks so much, gonna order one now. The standard bulb in the UK GSXS750 is like something from a knackered French Citroen from the 80’s!!

Amazing install vid bro

I didn’t find that myself, I think you can adjust the height of the beam (I no longer have that bike so can’t recall how).
thank you for your video !!
Nice ! Im going to do same on my gsr 🫡
perfect video thanks a lot man !!
thanks for sharing, help me solve the installation problem👍
What is the bulb number? Look cool to put the running lights amber.

Unrelated, but couldn't help not notice your bar end mirrors. Can you tell me what they are? Really like them!
They were just a set that I picked up from EBAY

The 3 pin plug should go into the connector that was pulled off the back of the original bulb (H4 Connector).
Will these bulbs be ok when taking for an MOT?
Still recommend the light?
Great vid. You got any pics or vids of the light beam?
Thanks, unfortunately I haven’t any pictures of the beam as I have now moved up to the 1000cc so no longer have the bike.
Hi
I bought the same type and did all the steps
But the light is not working properly
The low light works as a high light
And the high light work as a low light
I tried to reverse the the light But the same result
Do you have any advice on this?
Was it the same brand? As it uses a h4 connection is shouldn’t be able to work in reverse and if that is the case I would contact the supplier
@@deanskirrow yes Same brand and model, and same type of bike also Everything is the same as in the video and I also applied all the steps
@@madof7150 I would definitely contact LedPERF then, as there may be a fault within the wiring of the bulb itself
Hi great video thanks. Could you share a link to the headlight and sidelight bulbs please
Hi the link is on the first comment
Will this affect the highbeam trigger or will is still work as standard?
All works exactly as it did previously, so high beam is still switch activated
that miata tho!
Is it better than halogen light because i have original and its very hot. Is halogen less overheating?
It is better than the standard bulb, part of the reason for changing is there are reports of the headlight lenses cracking as they can get too hot with the standard bulb.
@@deanskirrow yeah thats why i am also thinking about changing
any error in the dashboard?, thx for the tutorial
No errors, all good 👍🏻
Did you have to change the relay?
No change to the relay
Have you had any problems regarding the heat prodcued by the LED unit? Also do you happen to know what the amp draw of the unit is?
Hi I don’t know about the draw of the unit, it has an external fan on the led unit to aid with cooling this sits behind the rubber weather boot
12volts according to the selling page
What size bulb are the side lights? T10 or t5 maybe?
AL9 I believe
Thanks
Of course the light i bought from revzilla the cap doesn't come off its a part of the body. Oh well cut the rubber I did.
Isn't installing aftermarket LED illegal? The housing is made for halogen/filament bulbs. LED housing are different.
No the rules changed in 2021. No idea why but LED lights are legal now. These newer LED replacement bulbs have the LED chips in the same place as the halogen filament so beam pattern should be the same.
nice video
👍
Is it legal ?
Yes as long as the bulb doesn't dazzle. Motorcycles were allowed LED lights from 2021.
And not a 25 minutes video
Where did you get the black signal covers?? Mine are bright Orange I want those
Hi these are the stock ones that came with the bike so should be available from Suzuki parts
