Yeah, It happened to me one day. gladly my parents took me to the hospital and I am alright now, it happened because of my asthma, it was terrifying
edit: Im 10, and that happened when I was 8, so yeah pretty young age
uh guys, some people are saying that I shouldnt be in youtube because I am 10 or that I cant have a channel until im 13 years old... But I see and saw a lot of channels of like 6-7 year old people??? And youtube does nothing??? I dont want to be annoying but, I am really mature for my age. One person said it in a rude way, and I didnt like it, but thank you if u said it in a "normal" way. (saying that I shouldnt be on youtube) But I just want you guys to know that im very mature for my age. Some people think im a 13-14 year old girl because im mature and also because of my face and that stuff...
also, I dont think I should even say my age in youtube... but I said it so--

There's two ways they can get your location. First is they can use cell phone towers to triangulate your position, but that's fairly inaccurate and wouldn't pinpoint a home. That's what the video shows containing 18 homes. The new system is called ELS, your phone uses its GPS to get a location and then your phone sends that to the emergency services operator. Usually this works great, but I've personally seen instances where my phone GPS is totally wrong. Even if it does work correctly, the caller could be in a block of apartments for example.
So to directly answer the question: The ELS data could be wrong (In cases where your phones GPS thinks you're somewhere you aren't) or completely useless (in a block of apartments) or unavailable (GPS doesn't work great indoors) or it could easily send them to your neighbours house, delaying them getting to you - so getting location from the caller is always the best option, but having access to this information is a good second option if the caller is unable to provide the information for any reason, like in the video.

It was introduced in Germany in 2019 and should be available to all cellphones by now. Upon calling 911 (or 112 in Germany's case) your smartphone activates its location immediately and uses that + data/wifi connection to pinpoint your location which it sends per SMS to the dispatcher. You can however disable that function manually in your settings and your location data is deleted automatically 60mins after the call - that's the privacy part

Things like 911 should be available in every country, it is a lot easier than remembering 3 different numbers or having to call one and then pressing a button to get in contact with one if the services like in my country.

Or maybe a universal number, not 911. Maybe 3 repeated numbers so it can be easier to dial, especially in dangerous situations
