I've been training my 15 yr old son for less than a year now. I've used ALL tips from Mike and CT (with lower weight obviously) and his body is nasty now. Blowing out the chest and arms and especially "no reps, just lift till you can't anymore" to end the workout is dope! You cats are inspirational and most importantly responsible. It's not about just lifting heavy, but smart and value the time.

I'm now 20, and have learned a lot from your personal mindset, and I've always made sure to work as hard as I can when I'm in the gym. I believe that a lazy minimal effort training session, is a wasted session. Best advice I've ever followed.
Everyone's arguing about techniques volume etc. at the end of the day, you get out what you put in. So if you want to do 3 sets of 10 or failure it doesn't really matter what someone else says, if it's working for you and you feel a good pump, why stop? Because it's your body and yourself that your pushing in order to strive to become a better person than you was yesterday, if someone criticises you, try and take what they're saying and make it positive. And I find it interesting that people argue over different methods of doing particular tasks because it shows how passionate you all are.
Mike and Rob trains almost like they hate themselves and with one mission in mind and that's to make themselves feel as much pain as possible in the gym. Good job guys.
DUDE! I was at the gym yesterday to do shoulder day. I looked up shoulder workouts and saw this video. Needless to say, it jacked me up got me going like crazy! Well, I did the workout with a bit of tweaks here and there. STUPID PUMP SON! Loved it! Thank you!

I love seeing intellegent lifters. Know your limit and don't be ashamed to drop the weight some. I'd rather drop the weight to finish my set then cause an injury or sacrafice form.

I hate when people ask how many reps, i understand where that are coming from but you should know yourself and your goals. Another shouldn't determine what weight or reps you do. Its the same in schooling when kids ask how many words. Thats not how you will get through life asking stupid questions like that. Yes you may need some guidance but still, once you have passed the rookie stages you will evidently fly by and in this world you will succeed.
