Great car. My 2014 LCI comp package has been my semi daily for 3 years (currently at 40k miles), using it 2-3 times a week. Other than regular maintenance and replacing wear and tear items like tires and brakes, it’s been a great car to me. The ride is comfortable, and at a push of a button, you have the power of thanos under your right foot. And the dual clutch transmission, chefs kiss. I think the main issue is that when something goes on these cars, the costs run high. There’s no denying that. But the old saying goes, “you gotta pay to play.”
3 years into owning my F10 M5 and so far I've spent over $6000 on repairs, and that's not including maintenance.I still love it tho just make sure you make enough to maintain this bad boy.
In 3 years of 2015 650 ownership I’ve spent about the same maybe a little more on maintenance. Only repairs I’ve had to have been my fault (breaking an axle)
The braking power feels that way because the car weights more the Lan 4,000 lbs which is heavy for a sedan. Some sprinters wiegh 4000 lbs lol. I have a f10 and it drives like a beauty. I wish I had that DCT. I like that pause between the shifts it sounds like a Manuel
Mine doesn’t have that initial brake bite either compared to new cars, but the braking power is there - it is just that now we are used to more “touchy” brakes. My old E90, E86, E60 and E46 were very similar - linear brake performance but no strong bite right from the top of pedal.
@@anyimmichaelik hi , it’s 2014 with 46k , touch wood so far very reliable nothing other than service items and tyres. But I am ignoring the BMW recommend intervals and I change the oil every 5-7k
mine is 2013 model, same color., 62000km. its high maintenance thats a given...but...if its well maintained then its worth it. to be frank one thing i learned is that robot to robot will unnecessarily cause engine issues...but pushing her hard on a long stretch puts your thoughts into another dimension because its not well liked by M guys.... but you will be amazed. i cant describe it in words but that g-force is an awesome delight something you will never forget. These models though i would say two things to keep an eye on - drive train issue and oil. the former seems to be an issue and its best to always i would say have once in six month multipoint check with bmw. and finally,...i am not a sound fanatic, my s1000rr deafens me enough...but trust me its sound does attracts eyes once pretty warmed up. soon i will post a video of tannie on my channel (thats her nickname in afrikaans (south africa). would i sell it for an m2 or m3, personally no...i would prefer a 760 il or v8 mustang
M5 are the best of the M series. Next to M3. However the 2018 m4 wins Overall by itself because it’s such a beautiful car, and the kids say it has a “Supra engine”. Even though the b58 is made by BMW 😂
What do you think of the F10 M5?

Nice job. I have had a 2015 F10 M5 Competition for the last 4+ years.Daily driver. Love it!
Any major issues?
How’s it holding up??
Same, I cruise everyday and when someone tries to pull up I remind them it’s an M-Comp!
72k miles for me never had an issue, regular maintenance and replaced the PCV for preventative maintenance

What type of repairs (6k) ?
In 3 years of 2015 650 ownership I’ve spent about the same maybe a little more on maintenance. Only repairs I’ve had to have been my fault (breaking an axle)
3 years , 6k isn’t too bad for a twin turbo’d v8 from BMW tbh
@@adominable1is it worth it??
I've spent 7k in shit since I've got 2011 bmw 550i in 2021 I hate this car I'm gonna upgrade into a m5 probably
i have a 2015 m5 with 106k miles still drives fine
how have the running costs been?
f10 m5 is solid. Take care of it, no issues.
I got one used F10 M5 before LCI and I did overhaul for entire engine and it smooth , fresh and fun . Daily drive !!
What u mean overhaul
Interesting. This is the M5 generation I know the least about. Thanks for reviewing it
Yup not very popular.... thanks for watching
F10 is best looking m5. If it was only all wheel drive.
I owned a 2013 m5 used back in 2017 and it was crazy fast!

Thanks for the input...f10 is awesome
Nice video Sir. My 2014 M5 Comp just hit 74k and I love it! The only downside I have is the brake squeal 😢 but everything else is spot on.
Cool blue color!
Had a 14 LCI model for 6 years now...52k on clock...stock and apart from tyres and discs/pads no issues and is my daily.
That's awesome
It’s your daily but you only put 52k miles in 6 years..?!?! Don’t sound like a daily to me😂😂
I have a 2013 with catless downpipes, aFe intakes, BM3 stage 2 racegas tune running 100 octane Sunoco. My hellcat killer luxury 4 door sedan.
Awesome car
@@DriveSteady I have a couple of shorts on my channel of it. Do ya like turbo swoosh?

Cool stuff, good to know
Take this video down I need to pick one up before they surge like the other m5 generations!
Still a beautiful machine.
Ceramic break are a must with this car
Love mine , great cars 👌
How many miles do you have on it and how reliable has it been? I have a 2013 M5 75k miles on it. Had to for a month now.

*dual clutch trans not double (DCT)
I think it's one of the best 5's they've made to be honest. It's quicker than the V10 and it's prettier than the ones they've made since IMO.
Breaking Bite maybe you check the breaks check. My car stops just fine even in triple numbers
congratulations on your weight loss aaron sanchez
want one

The 2018 M4 has a S55 engine not a B58. M340i and M440i has the B58TU shared with the Supra. G8X M3/M4 is way better than the 2018 M4
Next to M3? LOLOL
What a load of rubbish
Too bad they handle like shit and have terrible traction lol
