@@INCOGNITO-iq4qy it is acknowledged in his bond profiles in game, but his basis is the entity of 'The Man of Grey' or Grey Man-the being who caused Mozart's own death. He was only put on the rumour mill because he is an Italian against a German Nationalist view and he is one in the Imperial Court
Sometimes Servants are simply based on their legends, like Vlad III. Wasn't actually a vampire, but still got that NP that he hated.
Just for reference, since Salieri is the only 3-Star extra class Servant, the extra class GSSR or summoning campaigns (First one coming before LB4 next year) are very easy places to get him. I've seen people get six copies of him in a single 10-roll on both of them.
I was going to roll extra anyway to try and NP upgrade Dantes, Oei, or Melt. Guaranteeing a Servant I actually want is just good value.
This is great news for me because I have no interest in Ivan.
Also in the future Class Based Summoning campaigns will have Ruler, Avenger, and Alter Ego category where he's the ONLY 3 star again, so guaranteed to get him.
Plus next year has another Jalter Campaign with him as well in case you still want to get her as well.
Basically this is one of the worst banners to get him honestly.

Can't blame you. But like *The Cloaked Schemer* up there has said, he's gonna be present on the GSSR Banner of the next year, where you can roll for him on the Extra Class exclusive Gacha. Since he's the ONLY 3* Servant of all the Extra Classes, you're already guaranteed to get him.

He's a pretty great Avenger option and a lot more accessible than most. Of course I'm pretty happy with an NP3 Jalter so I'll just stick with her. Might not be bad to throw some tickets at the Ivan banner though to just have a copy. He was a pretty cool guy in the latest story.
If I ever got him, I would never unequip his 2nd ascension form.

I love ALL of his Ascensions. The first one for regular battle suit, the second one for the casual, fine gentleman that he is and the third one for when his wrath has been unleashed! There's no hate for this guy's design! ^_^

The C. Star down isn't even much of a demerit since Arts Cards have no Stargen it only hurts you if you aren't using passive stargen like Casgil.
It's also just a mere 20%... Even if you were to generate 30 stars, you'd lose a mere 6 with that debuff... That's nothing.
Yea it sounds worse than it is, the vast majority of arts servants generate stars passively through skills and even with Cas Gil his star gen buff is so good it doesn't have much of an impact like Poke mentioned
Arts cards do have star gen. They still generate the servant's own base crit rate, usually around 10% or 30% for assassins
@@Aquilenne that 10%/30% drops like 1 star per art card so it doesnt even matter
Star gen debuff also doesn't matter much for some servants who are cursed by their low hit count. U ended up using story Salieri alongside Hans as Crit supports for majority of LB1 if he was available

What's funny, Mash would GENUINELY wish to speak well of Salieri. I'm still touched by the moments where she compliments his music as beautiful and Salieri gets a bit flustered! X3
IRL, his music helps me finish my college homework.
Finally got him along with getting him to NP5 in a single multi today. He truly is the best composer. Also given that I just got my first copy of Tamamo on the Caster banner, his timing is perfect.

Got him from a single ticket summon, loved his character in the lost belt/current event
only thing he needs is an NP buff that also increases the Arts resist debuff by 10% across the board, so it starts at 20% and can go upwards of 40%.
if they made it ignore defense buffs would also be very cool, considering we have NPs like liz and others that are like sonic or wave beams that have such and effect. would make senseand also be a nice flavor useful in certain situations.
Just got 5 copies of him and one Gorgon from the extra class banner. Feels good
have lots of fun with Salieri during apocrypha challenge quest :)
Besides the GSSR, remember that this guy is also in future class based summoning campaigns where he's the only 3 star in the Extra category so you guaranteed to get him.

As someone who has him fully max levelled and all his skills max to 10, he really is powerful, but the low HP really shows, considering I ended up using on a very specific fight in Lostbelt 3 in JP... and let's just say he was melted in a mere turn or two, but his attack and Arts synergy makes him really useful in Arts teams, one of if not the only servant I would be willing to roll the Extra Class Banner, and considering his availability there, I would rather sacrifice some Saint Quartz to get him to NP5, he's really worth it.
Been getting baited hard by Anastasia, but I still have a small batch set aside for him. My JP account has him grailed, 9/9/9, and NP4 and while I don't use him all too often these days, he recently helped me out during the Apocrypha CQ. Hoping to get him in NA as well, and eventually get them both to match level and skill-wise.
I got him today! I've been wanting him for ages!!! And for once i have a servant that can help him out (lancelot)
Imagine if Salieri had like the same type of passive as Oberon where buffs used on him have a chance to fail if it’s from Merlin, but instead it would fail if it was from Mozart

I got really lucky with the recent GSSR and got Hokusai plus NP5 Salieri. Salieri is at max ascension now and I'm seriously considering grailing him, since I use mostly arts servants.
with the tickets I spent trying to get Nightingale on the class banner, I really wish I saved them for a copy of this guy instead.

But serious. In extra class gssr saleri is the only 3 star extra class servant while lobo and gorgan are the only 4 ones so aside your gurenteed ssr units you can get saleri np 3 from that gssr.

Coming up in July is class based gssr when skadi comes and new year's is just lucky bag of all ssr servants in one gssr.

Legitimately the servant I want most from the Lostbelt after finishing it! Love his design, and he's a pretty damn cool character to boot, that final scene with him was quite poignant. Please don't screw me out of a damn 3*, gacha, that would just be cruel!

I got screwed royally. Only 1 Salieri over 80 sq.
Damn, that's harsh. I initially rolled way more than I wanted to, probably close to 120 quartz all things considered (dipped into the wallet) and only got two copies, barely. However, I did sets of singles over the following days and got three more copies eventually, so he's NP5 now! Maybe he's worth a few grails down the line, we'll see!

what a beautifully tragic good badguy.
I just want him for those animations and sounds. Don't care how terrible he might be. Thankfully he's actually pretty good. I just really love how he looks to. Easily one of the coolest looking servants imo and thankfully he doesn't have a shitty personality. Wins all around.
Have him max grailed on JP and he absolutely destroys the apocrypha CQ. Also a very good farmer and can NP loop quite easily, i suggest building him if you want a dps that can also gives some support utility.
