No recess, no gym, and no extracurriculars (band, choir, sports) means Bobby and Suzy are brats when they come home. You need to work out all that aggressive energy. A lot of the guys who play "heroes" on screens are assholes but not all of them. There have been people aware of the impact of their onscreen persona who tried to be decent people and engage the fans well in real life. That's why we remember Christopher Reeve and Lynda Carter so well as Superman and Wonder Woman. Likewise, Adam West as Batman.
