Blue Lagoon is my favorite, but Ready to Fly is nice. I can't get enough of Finger Dancing and Early Bird. Nice selection of songs. And of course the play is great.
@@mug3431 Oh thats a hard question. Recently Ive been more into his less popular albums such as Traumatic and Jungle Jane. Traumatic features some songs with heavy, funk-style guitar sections, so maybe the song Teaser?
@@mug3431 pick whatever is most fun for you. Heaven and Earth might be fun, lots of varying tones and techniques used in that one. One of my favorites.
@@mug3431 How do you learn a song by ear? I've been wanting to start doing that. Could you possibly explain in detail what you do? :) Do you check the key of the song and play that scale? Do you map it out? Just how do you go about doing it? I am really interested!
@@unclejoe9823 sure! This song isnt too difficult to learn by ear since theres barely any chords in the lead part. I learn the song bit by bit, pausing a section and repeating the notes i hear with my guitar. Repeat a section of the song until you get it right, what helps a ton is slowing the song down, you can slow the song down in the youtube settings. Another really good strategy is watching covers of the song youre trying to learn, since you can see the fretboard clearly. Hope this helps!
Do you just start randomly on the guitar or do you follow a scale or anything? For example, I checked and Ready To Fly is in A major so do you follow the A Major scale or do you just go about randomly on the fretboard until it sounds right? I can play Ready To fly pretty okay, but I used tabs that I found on youtube. But I want to start to learn songs by ear. Songs like Ready to Fly, Blue Lagoon, You Can Never Come To This Place, Oh! Tengo Suerte and etc is songs that I would love to learn. Amazing playing by the way, would be cool if you posted some more stuff👍 @@mug3431
@@unclejoe9823 i dont know theory so i just straight up copied what i heard, which you can get much better at by simply trying to learn more stuff by ear, with time youll familiarize the notes with their spots on the fretboard, im sure having a scale would help though

How long did this take you to learn? amazing
Thanks! Probably like 3 days
What pedal do you use ?
I'm using Neural DSP
What effects? Chorus? Overdrive?
@Vallejo Some decent overdrive and reverb. Mostly a clean sound. Boost the treble
Bro why does your neck look so thick and wheres the headstock?
hop off his tip man
