  • I took the new 2018 Triumph Tiger 1200 XCA for a wet slippery ride out from Youles Motorcycles Manchester. Headed out of the Urban Jungle to the Glorious Peak District. And rode the Notorious Cat and Fiddle A537. Found a Forest Track and had some warming soup cooked up on my Firebox Stove. In this video I try and demonstrate all the excellent new features of this Awesome to ride Adventure bike. So grab a brew and come along for the Ride.

    Beautiful bike Steve always had a love for them even though I ride a Yamaha tenere but I think the triumph looks top class.

    Greetings from a sunny a warm Malaysia. Great video of the new Triumph and your real world review of its features. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The heated grips and seat would certainly be wasted out here 😅. A great bike nonetheless. Look forward to your next wild camp bike trip. Keep up the good work and ride safe. Cheers. 🏕

      Razif Mahathir Thanks for watching, bet you would need an ice seat and grips over there, closest I’ve been is Singapore and Thailand very hot. In a few months or sooner if I get chance will do a bike wild camp vid 👍👍

    Great review. I have one of these on order (XRt) so I appreciate you took the time to show different button and dash features (which no other TH-cam review has yet done.) The new one will replace my '13 Explorer. Cheers!

    Very nice bike but at 17k Unrealistic for me. More like 20k in Thailand If you can source one.Got the Tracer 900GT.. Awesome for bike camping trips here in Thailand..And touring in general.. Luckily we can still give it some grunt over here with out the old bill all over you like a rash.. Enjoying your wild camping videos keep up the fine work Steve..Subbed..

    So would you say that the tiger is up to the job of off-roading like you did or would you say that something the scrambler 1200 would be better as I'm looking to buy next year

    • @stevebutler7156
      @stevebutler7156  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Phillip Booth The Tiger will do forest tracks with ease I wouldn’t attempt anything more on one unless you’ve got great off roading skills. And don’t forget there isn’t that many places to off road in this country anyway anymore. Plus you can load it up with all your gear a scrambler would be limited. And I bet a real sore arse over big distances. Buy the explorer Scrambler is style over substance I think. And you wouldn’t be joining the cap and beard brigade for one 😂. PS I don’t sell motorbikes anymore real bikers are a dying breed I think ATB Steve 👍

    Serious motorcycle. Will Honda and BMW be worried.... I would if I were them. My only worry would be the tank capacity. Min. 24 l needed.

      They do on the low setting, higher setting bit tippy toe but I find it even more comfortable its a trade off at the end of the day.

    There's so few places in the UK where you can ride off road - Do you have any info on where the trail starts as I'd love to try it?

    • @stevebutler7156
      @stevebutler7156  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shamone MoFo Tbh it is an actual road that lasts only about a mile or so and not that interesting. Only used it as I live not that far away. Far better off up in Scotland. Check out the first vid I did entitled Motorcycle wild camping. There is a road in that that goes for miles. I dont like publicly giving out locations for obvious reasons. If everybody knows then it’s not that Wild anymore ATB and thanks for watching 😃👍

    Bike certainly has got some great features but to still have to use your key to open up a fuel tank on a 2018 which is only a 20 l fuel tank on an "Adventure" bike and riding mode resets every time I shut the bike off is counter intuitive.
