  • This is my third and final episode of my epic journey to Norway.
I travel from my Camping Lodge in Rysstad along snow lined roads. Climbing High into the Mountains I pass frozen lakes, Rivers and Fjords, and after what seemed forever reached the Eagles Nest. This is a Cafe perched over 2000 ft looking down onto Lysebotn and the winding road to get there snaking 27 hairpin bends. It truly was a Ride of a lifetime.
So grab a brew or a beer, and I hope you enjoy it.
Once again Many Many Thanks for all the great comments I have received over the past few Videos of my trip, from my ever loyal subscribers and new viewers.
I hope I didn't leave it too long before episodes.
After completing Episode one my hard drive broke on my pc so I had to buy a brand new one. So parts 2 and 3 you will see some new techniques and features I can hopefully use in future videos, after using a newer version of my editing software.
I use POWER DIRECTOR 365 its been a great tool to get to grips with and learn.

I just have to say, thank you so much for a great journey I got from watching your videos. I'm from Norway and now I got the inspiration to take a tour around Norway/Scandinavia. It's a bit of a shame to say that I need inspiration to take a trip around Norway/Scandinavia when I live here. But maybe it's a bit like that, when you live here it becomes "normal" to see how lucky we are🤔.

It has been a great series so far.Thank you for making all the effort to produce your videos. Very good.
Btw the ferry from the Netherlands no longer sails from Eemshaven since 1st June this year, but instead nearby Emden which is on the other side of the river but over the border in Germany, so a bit further to ride to if anyone wanted to take this option. It is expensive though. With a motorcycle return to Kristiansand the cost is just over 700€!!!!! Riding to Hirtshals in Denmark to catch the ferry there is the better option. I think it is only 80€ one way and is a lot shorter crossing.

    • @stevebutler7156

Hi Alex thanks for watching and commenting, yes the series to make and edit has been a labour of love and takes me ages. Think I picked the best route 😃👍 Thanks again.

Hi really glad I have inspired you, it was fairly straightforward the way I did it and didn’t break the bank. Each place I stayed was brilliant and perfectly placed. What you haven’t seen on any video is my return journey. I basically misread the ferry time to leave Norway to get back to Denmark missed it. Luckily I got sorted with another ferry company and got back 😂👍 Editing does take ages to give you an idea I got back on the 4th 😂 takes me an age couple of hours spare each evening. And you still get some people winging about something I’ve done wrong 🤣👍 Definitely scratch your itch you won’t regret it 👍

Even to a point of trying to call me and message in the middle of the night. Turned into a proper stalker 😂 But seriously tho if you need any help or advice don’t hesitate to reach out on here.
